Appleby Leisure Centre boasts a state of the art gym offering world class cardio, resistance and strength equipment, wide range of fitness classes including Group Cycle and Circuits and a 25 metre, four lane. We run a full range of lessons for kids including swimming and Gymnastics and also birthday parties.
Appleby Leisure Centre is situated next to the picturesque River Eden and provides gym and swim facilities for Appleby and the Upper Eden area, with Eden District Council undertaking a £150,000 reception and changing room refurbishment in October 2019. The 25m, four lane main pool and additional learner pool are ideal for swimming lessons, fitness sessions and general swimming and pool activities. Hire one or both pools for exclusive use for birthday parties and events. The gym offers a great range of modern equipment to ensure you get the most from your workout. Group Cycling classes are also available.

Fantastic experience: Daughter has swimming lessons here. Staff are attentive, great with the kids. Never had a negative experience always willing to help and answer questions. I will always remember the pool when it was an open air pool when I was my daughter's age! Along time ago. Gym is well equipped for the size of the center and it's rural location. Well done.
