Fantastic experience: I am very impressed with the staff they are all very professional. They all help me to achieve my goals. Sarah is my health wise facilitator who I had great one to one communication with. Very friendly and professional. Feel relaxed with Sarah, she made me feel very comfortable.

Fantastic experience: It definitely is 1 of if not the best local swimming pools. Clean easy access and staff are always polite . And if you're driving there is a local car park only 5min walk away and very reasonable for only 80p per hour brilliant definitely recommend..

Fantastic experience: great day out for family, staff are very helpful and polite, pools were also run perfectly with sides coming on during our time there and wave machine being filtered on and off during the session we had, changing rooms were spotless as well as toilets being well maintained woukd deffo go back and would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Great gym, best location and good opening hours, not too busy during off peak hours. Staff is friendly and they have good equipment. Place is always clean which makes it an enjoyable place to train at.

Fantastic experience: I personally enjoy my time here at Waterfront Leisure Center, I like swimming pool , and the gym . Pool is bright, not in basement , water is warm , I found very helpful the staff in the pool as well in the Gym. Fitness Trainer always help me in Gym. I also want to say that I progress alot here . Its always clean , nice and tidy. After you come few times , you will enjoy it. If you need help , they always willing to help you.I am grateful to the team of the Leisure Centre.

Fantastic experience: Love the waterfront gym, best gym in the local area in my opinion have being training here for years, good range of equipment and lots of space to train. Some of the staff that come to mind for being lovely and helpful are Chantel, Karim, Gary H, Gary E & Jack. Sorry if I missed some more names i’m trying to learn everyone’s but I keep forgetting lol. Fantastic experience: Took my 5yr old son last Sunday . 28/02/22. Had a brilliant time . Staff were great . Parking was easy but away from building, had to park down the road . Slides were good pools were clean and good temperature. It was busy there were screaming kids and wave machine wasn’t all that , but son had fun and that was the main thing . Deffo go again .

Fantastic experience: I visited this leisure centre yesterday for a 12pm (30/7/21) family fun swim with my husband and baby grandson who has complex needs. The staff were amazing nothing was too much for them and in particular a lady (wish I had got her name)in a black uniform was very accommodating and helpful . Our time there was made much easier and the baby had a fabulous time . Thankyou so much for making our afternoon such a pleasure and he loved the seat ring we were able to purchase . We will definitely be visiting again .

Fantastic experience: booked a family swim and was not disappointed-loved it-enjoyed the pools and all the extras that sets this pool way above other pools in my local area - changing rooms/ areas warm and clean - showers hot- staff lovely- lockers large (20p)

Fantastic experience: Second time bringing my children all the way from Hackney. I love it here! Huge pools, clean great fun and friendly staff.

Positive experience: I loved this pool and the little baby pool behind the main, but the water is sometimes freezing! My 1 year old sons lips turned blue once, so we left half way through our session. I also cut my foot a few times on a broken tile. But like i said i do love the pool its self and the staff are usually lovely and welcoming

Fantastic experience: Great place to take kids swimming. Water was a bit cold when you get in but was fine by after a few minutes and getting your shoulders under like most pools. Good to have different pools to do what you want so kids dont get in the way of adults wanting to do lane swimming. Staff were friendly, helpful and also dont judge 30 year old men having a go down the water slides. The building could do with a bit of work done to it but its nothing major and you dont really notice when your kids in the water laughing and splashing having fun. Parking is 2 minutes on powis street.

Fantastic experience: A really great place to keep yourself fit. Fitness classes are great. Everything is at one place which is brilliant. You don't need to go to different places if you want to try something new. Pools are great but from time to time the water is freezing cold. That needs to be fixed as that it not healthy and both pools are deserted, management should believe when we say the water is cold. Still, a very great centre. Love the squash courts. I really like the fitness classes, however, there should be late afternoon and evening yoga classes as the 7am is not doable for those who work. Also, the Tuesday's yoga class is pilates at the moment which should be yoga. It's sad that Alejandra is off sick (love her teaching style) but the centre should find a yoga cover. Also, the pools need to be sorted out. The last 3 months or so, they are either freezing or closed all together. I wouldn't mind to to to another centre until Waterfront fixes its issues but not for extra £2-3 as it's not the customers' fault that the pools are freezing cold or under a week long maintenance. I still do like Waterfront but the gates (not scanning cards) drive me nuts. That issue puts a lot of pressure on the staff at the reception as not all customers are understanding, and to be fair, with a membership you should be able to scan the card and skip the long queue.As I am pretty tolerant and patient, I would still give Waterfront a 9 out of 10, but those problems are needed to be fixed asap.

Fantastic experience: Visited the centre for swimming with my kids and the leisure centre was great. Orlando on reception was both courteous and helpful, his assistance on the day was very much appreciated. Assisted with lockers and checked us in efficiently and with no fuss. Great place for some family fun!!

Fantastic experience: Having visited a lot of pools in London, I liked this quirky fun pool. It's relatively small and quite disjointed with odd little pools linked by going under bridges. I like the fact that there is a separate pool just for swimmers. Children have to swim two lengths front crawl if they want to go into the fun pool's deep end. The large slide is fast, dark and fun, while the multi slide is perfect for less adventurous kids. The staff were friendly, the price reasonable and the changing areas clean... If I lived closer I'd probably visit again

Something so much and so many have/has been given into and from which much has been gained by us all.I am proud of the hard work of the staff at the centre today and council (1978-88) who made its construction by the foot tunnel and woolwich free ferry for all of London possibleI do wish The Royal Arsenal headoffice would be more proud of this pioneering and cornerstone centre and protect it for all of London in perpetuity against those certain interests which threaten it.

Fantastic experience: Well, I have being to the Waterfront Leisure Centre which is a swimming pool in Woolwich in London in the south of England in the UK since I was a little girl and I enjoyed myself swimming and I was on a snake slide and it was fun there and I enjoyed myself.

Fantastic experience: My son has been taking swimming lessons every Saturday for nearly a year, and I am very impressed. The teachers are strict, but extremely brilliant. My son's teacher is fantastic. The prices are very reasonable too. I well recommend the swimming lessons.

Fantastic experience: excellent gym inside !! can't go wrong, i struggle to go to a gym because i normally have my little brother with me but with this sports centre it's benefits me and him !!! swimming pool is fantastic and if we are hungry we pop into the cafeteria, which again is good for what it is.

Fantastic experience: Big slides, waves, lap pool and fun pool with baby and toddlers own separate pool and small steam room. Kids love it and I enjoy it too , have a swim walk across the road to first choice cafe for a bite to eat and lots of different shop in Woolwich too walk around and grab a coffee.

Fantastic experience: Excellent facilities. Really impressed with what they have to offer. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I go three times a week to see a PT the gym is clean and equipment is perfect for my work out. I have not tried the pool or classes

Fantastic experience: The lifeguards were attentive when some kids began acting silly and warned them politely there are young children in the pool.. Plenty of well kept changing rooms for family, good size too. Great price and lovely friendly reception staff who even checked we had 20p coin for the lockers, which swallow your coin each time you open it so dont do what I did and forget the goggles, then the safety ring...80p later.... Do check times before going, we didnt and had to wait 40 minutes - but thats my own fault. Kids were excited to go on the slide but as soon as it opened the queue was huge so I told them to wait then suddenly it was closed and then opened again an hour later just before we left so they got one go each.Kids were exhausted and slept through the car ride home. A fun fit family day out in a nice clean pool!

Fantastic experience: I have used the centre for appox 6 years, over the past twelve months there have been improvements in gym, but also small ones in the leisure and childrens pool, i.e. the fountains are now working and the old bridge has been removed. Could do with another sauna or steam room, but the building is what it is. The great advantage that I have seen over the past 12 months are the team: - Reception, if I remember correct Linda (I believe) is super, one time I had left all my cards at home with no money, and she helped me out. Who would do this, it showed great customer service and a great understanding. - Pool side staff, I find great when I go with my child, when he goes down the big slide the staff look after him for when I follow him. - On an important note, when a child gets in trouble, the response is excellent, they saved the child and cleared the pool in seconds, and it really was seconds. Changing room could do with a bit of clean, however I understand the volume going through you cannot be cleaning all of the time, and I feel for some of the team as some of the customers treat the centre like rubbish, again for example leaving rubbish all over the floor.

Fantastic experience: I think this is one of the greatest pools I have ever seen since I first went swimming when I was younger. I also like the one upstairs where they have snacks and lunch where you can have them anytime they want. And of course even the pool looks fantastic with the crocodile design in the pool. It looks really magnificent. I'd really like to visit there in the summer this year. Maybe in June or July or hopefully August.
