Moss Side Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: I know this facility because my 11 and 9 year old play squash on Wednesday and Friday as part of the coaching schemes The squash facility here has recently been updated and improved, with three squash courts, Two of which are glass backs. They have had new floors and the walls and are really nice to play on. The space is open and airy and has been well decorated. The heating has also been updated and is now warm in winter. Moss Side do have a club and I have found the members very nice and welcoming and always willing to have a knock. I have to say the level of coaching is amazing, the two young coaches totally connect with everyone and run well organised safe sessions. All in all a great place to be

Fantastic experience: Family visit with the kids. We all loved it. Separate pool for the kids. Changing area, lockers and hot showers were available. If you are part of the group and don't want to pay for the pool you can sit in the viewing area, it's a balcony sort of arrangement. Staff were friendly.

Fantastic experience: Moss Side Leisure Centre is probably the best fitness centre I've ever been a member of. I go at least a few times a week and mainly take the classes, which are really varied and great-quality, especially those by Andrea and Shamila. They're both excellent at what they do and very professional and make the classes worthwhile, interesting and even fun. I'm a reluctant exerciser but they have really encouraged me to keep up a routine regime and sometimes I even look forward to it (not like me at all!) I also use the swim for fitness sessions, steam rooms and sauna and they're always clean and attended by life guards etc who are really vigilant and helpful. I'd definitely recommend Moss Side for a regular membership, 100%. Thanks to all the folks here who work so hard.

Fantastic experience: I use the centre to play badminton in both the main and small halls upstairs. I have been to plenty of other badminton halls.around Manchester and this is one of the best - high ceilings, non-slip floors and lights that don't blind you! This place looks great since it was extensively renovated a few years back.

Positive experience: For a public leisure centre this place is great! Recently underwent renovations so it's all completely new & clean. 25m pool. Gym. Classes. There's also a library attached. You become a member online & book classes via the app which is super handy. Private changing rooms, showers & lockers require £1. There's games courts too. So much! Good value too, I pay £28pm for pool, gym & classes access. Health suite (sauna & steam room) cost extra.

Fantastic experience: Its took me a while to push up enough courage to go on my own but wayhay!! I did it lovely clean place staff are lovely and they are fully equipped for disabled people in the swimming pool they also have a disable lift to enter and exit the pool they also have a library where if you don't want to use the gym you can go there meet new people or just chill and read.i will be going again.xx

Fantastic experience: I visited Moss side leisure centre earlier this week, this was my first visit after 26 years. I was very impressed with the customer service I received from Jackie at the front desk. She gave me some very useful information and made me feel welcome. The changing rooms were clean and it wasnt crowded, regardless it being school holidays. The pool itself is really big and you have plenty of space to do laps even when other children and families are playing. I will be visiting again very soon.

Fantastic experience: Moss Side leisure centre is currently about to be closed for a refurbishment, but all of my experiences of using the leisure centre have been positive, the staff are great and very helpful, there's swimming with a viewing gallery (good for families) gym facilities, free weights, squash and library with computer access also free parking ...excellent! Hopefully it will be even better when it's updated ( currently the decor is perhaps a bit 1980s but that's not a big issue for me)

Fantastic experience: I've only visited the venue to play squash but must say that for £1.50 the courts are great with very good lighting and extremely helpful staff.
