Fantastic experience: Took my 1 year old grandson for a swim today - cost for the baby £3.20. Advised if i lived in W Lothian it would be £1.regularly use Grangemouth pool - he is free there. In the current climate is it appropriate to chg babies with so many having to count the pennies . One of the desk staff said if i was a single mum on benefits it would be different - well i am not i am just a Granny taking her Grandson for a swim.

Fantastic experience: Just got a membership for the gym, staff are really nice and helpful. Gym is good with everything you need for a decent workout, they also have a sauna/steam room

Fantastic experience: Went to swimming today here for first time. Was great. Good for our 4 year old as well. Have a kids splash area with slide as well. All staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Cafe was good as well and reasonably priced. Will definitely return. 10/10

Fantastic experience: My regular gym. I like the spacious facilities. Large windows provide a bright vew over the football field. So not claustrophic like some gyms places can be.

Fantastic experience: Outstanding gym with extremely helpful PTs, great swimming pool and, although they aren't open yet, the saunas are the cherry on the top. They have plenty of classes to attend all which are great for getting you in shape. I've been to several gyms and this one is my favourite!

Fantastic experience: i had such a great spin class tonite with chloe, she was enthusiastic involved and did a really good session, a few other members who done it before commented to me how much it was better.shes a credit to the team/centre. well done!

Fantastic experience: All three of my kids do swimming lessons here and they all love the instructors, there are loads of kids classes to choose from, football, rugby, gymnastics to name few, the soft play is handy to sign your kids into if you want to use the gym or go to a class. Plenty of parking and it's right next to the canal where I run.

Fantastic experience: There is a wide range of choice of classes to suit everyone from gentle exercise to body combat with excellent knowledgeable instructors. There are good facilities and well maintained equipment, including an outside football area and a play area for children. There is also plenty of parking space.

Fantastic experience: Reach 60th birthday and went to see what xcite can offer the more mature members. Lovely staff and swimming a pound a session ideal.

Fantastic experience: Good swimming pool. My two year old really loved going there. Large car park area with free parking. Entry price is reasonable and they stock a small selection of swimwear / swim accessories and swim nappies. Changing rooms are a good size, however not many parents & child cubicles. There are plenty coin operated lockers (£1) and hairdryers are free to use. There are two areas to the pool: A shallow beached pool area (approx 0.5m at deepest) has various plastic animals that have water flowing out of them and a small rainbow themed slide. Children need to be supervised whilst playing in this area. A main pool for swimming. The water is pretty warm as far as swimming pools go. A lot better than some I have been in meaning you can stay in a little while longer. A steam room is also present poolside.

Fantastic experience: Nice cafe and swimming pool, has classes for lots of things including gymnastics and football that my kids go to. Also has a little soft play area if you have to amuse another child while one is in a class or just for fun

Fantastic experience: One of the best Xcite gyms. One of the first to be revamped and the gym is massive with more modern equipment with plenty of windows to look out of. Also very clean and the changing rooms and showers are very nice. Unlike the Broxburn and Bathgate gyms which are dated and in the case of Bathgate, not even clean.

Fantastic experience: I travel a fair amount with my work and often find myself in new places in need of a pool, gym or somewhere to train. This usually proves difficult and I more than often end up frustrated. On this occasion I have experienced quite the opposite. From the email from Klayre, the welcome at the gym from Helen on reception to the Spinning coach, I must say that have had an utterly fantastic experience. Please can you pass on my sincere thanks on to your team. As a Scot living in England it's great to see this when you come home. Looking forward to my swim in the morning.
