Negative experience: Terrible customer service, no one seems to know what's going on. Went there originally to go for a casual swim, but when we arrived it wasn't a casual swim. Checked online again with friend and sure enough it showed casual swim, asked again at desk to be told to download app? So I downloaded it, but still showed the same. My friend went back up and got them to write down info, so we could rebook, and when we turned up on the day they'd written down for us, again, it wasn't a casual swim. I also found out in the meantime that they actually have 2 apps, but for some reason that got lost in translation. I thought that I'd give it another go and booked a different class with the other app. I booked and it said it would cost £6. I went to the class, but it wasn't very easy to follow, and when I checked my bank account £7.50 had been taken out. I emailed on the 26th of Oct to query the amount and finally received a reply on the 9th of Nov telling my that the prices on there are for members only. It would be helpful to have that somewhere. I thought that I'd try this gym, because it looked so good, but I've since started going to different one, where the customer service is much better and I can get NHS discount.

Positive experience: Really great modern leisure centre however swimming pool should have more casual swim sessions through our day. Lane swimming sessions cut off half the pool and overcrowded.

Fantastic experience: I lost my AirPods in this gym on Sunday. If anyone has found them, please leave them at the reception. Thank you.

Positive experience: Everything's here under one roof, friendly atmosphere. Well priced for what your getting. Places well maintained and managed. Buildings brand new. Nice grounds in a safe area of the city. Autism safe no meltdowns here, but you will get fazed and overwhelmed at times.

Fantastic experience: I signed up for the swimming pool and sports classes. Have not tried the classes yet so this is more of a pool review. The price is really good, especially for students only £15 for the choice of two activities. The gym is located in a nice area next to a park. Nice, big, open reception with a starbucks and comfy seats. Changing rooms/shower (pool area) These facilties are unisex (they are separate gendered changing rooms for schools). The changing and shower rooms are big, there is seating were you change and everything was very clean (so far). The showers are on a timer, you put it on and it stops every minute or so but you can press it as many times as you want. There are storage closets with digital locks to store your stuff. The type of lock they have here is the easiest to use and most straightforward type of gym lock I have seen. All very smooth. They also have toilets, mirrors, many hairdryers, a water bottle refill station and two saunas. Pool The pool itself is beautiful. The area is well lit with big windows on the sides and ceilings. One thing that I have enjoyed the most is that you can entre the pool via stairs and don't need to use the ladders. This is perfect for people with disabilities or less fit people. Half of the pool was divided in lanes and half was left as an open space which I really appreciated. The water temperature was perfect, did not feel cold at all. The depth of the pool can be changed, it was 1.40 m the time I have been. Pool and pool area were very clean. My only complaint is the employees, both the receptionist and the lifeguards were a bit rude when I talked to them. But I'm not going to deduct points for this yet. If all runs smoothly you don't need much contact with the staff. All in all I highly recommend it for the moment, especially this September as only students and staff are allowed. I sense that once it is open many issues will appear.
