Fantastic experience: Yes, it's a council gym so it doesn't have fancy showers or shampoo or towels etc. But it's incredibly friendly, has everything you need in terms of equipment and I have NEVER had to wait for a machine because it was too busy, or been turned away from an over-full class, which is much better than any previous gym I've been a member of. would definitely recommend.

Fantastic experience: Great place. The pool is just perfect for toddlers, very shallow slope, and a small slide. Upstairs there's a decent cafe, and a small soft play area for young kids. It can get very busy on weekend mornings though, one in one out sometimes.

Positive experience: I was very disappointed that when we booked the recent swimming session we were not told that the elephant slide was closed off, the sauna was locked due to Covid and the wave machine was broken! As these are the only reasons we drive across town to come to this pool, we felt somewhat cheated!

Positive experience: This is a large and well maintained place for the whole family. My son has been going to their famous swimming pool with waves since he was 3 years old, as it is very friendly for young kids. The gymnasium is very large and multiple companies offer their activities there, so there are many options throughout the week of classes and fun for kids and grownups. The weights room has fairly new equipment and in decent good conditions. Honestly the staff doesn't seem happy most of the time, although I am always treated with respect and have no personal complaints, just question their care for staff.

Positive experience: Nice and clean swimming pool but a little crowded. It has family changing rooms which is so useful with little children. Fairly priced.

Fantastic experience: I am happy that I discovered that place few weeks ago. The swimming pool is excellent, the staff are amazing and very friendly. And so close to the Battersea Park. I am going for scuba diving holiday on Wednesday. But after arrival, I will sign for the membership

Fantastic experience: The Latchmere is the best swimming experience at many pools I've had in thirty years. It's perfect, lanes or an easy leisurely section. The gym is very good too,there is always someone around for advice. And all the staff are sociable friendly and efficient This is now my second home. Don't change a thing Latchmere! 10/10

Fantastic experience: A leisure centre at the heart of Battersea community with the famous wave machine.can get busy they offer swimming lessons,gym on site too. I paid £10.35 (peak time i went at 3pm on a sundy) for 3 junior swimmers which have to be over 8yrs to go unaccompanied. But what i would comment on is that there is no guest wifi net work maybe a wifi code printed on receipts would be a idea. But non the less it wont stop me from visiting.

Fantastic experience: Good facilities! I've been a member of this gym for the past 3 weeks and am very pleased with the equipment. I'm mainly focusing on cardio so have my set machines to which I use. Next I'll move onto the weights to tone up. It's not usually been too busy whenever I have been and you can always get to use what you want. Going to consider getting swimming lessons here soon so that I can possibly switch up to the next membership. There is also a cafe where you can buy refreshments a kids pool, a good old fashioned main pool A car park outside although I don't drive so cannot comment on the prices per stay.

Fantastic experience: I am always very enthusiastic about London Krav Maga classes. I can recommend highly experienced instructors and practical knowledge.

Fantastic experience: We go here a lot with my two year old who loves it. The swimming pool has a sloped ‘beach entry’ so she can run in and out and splash in the shallows which she loved. She also enjoys the tall elephant slide. After swimming we go upstairs to the soft play where I can have a coffee as she runs around the ball pit. They also have a ‘music and movement session’ at the front most weekday mornings at 10:00 and 11:00, with bouncy castle and various toys and slides and ten minutes of nursery rhymes at the end.

Fantastic experience: Had great fun here relaxed atmosphere. Staff are a bit disorganised and stressed at change overs at the pool.

Fantastic experience: Great pool for kids. My 6 yr old loves it here compared to the many other local pools which seem to hate children. She says, “It’s so cool. I’d give it one hundred plus plus plus. I like jumping over the waves. Everyone likes it who knows it. The soft play area was cool too.” Good value, sloping pool, wave machine, slide, soft play area in the cafe.

Fantastic experience: My children and I love this pool and often come down during school holidays. The pool waves are fun and the deep end is often the least busiest part of the pool so despite the pool being packed out, there is a good amount of space towards the deeper end. I don’t understand why people are complaining about the staff. I’ve been here so many times and each time the staff have been really helpful and friendly. Downside is the cafe prices upstairs. Also, the queuing system when there are school holidays can be frustrating and have been subject to this queue often. However this is understandable given how popular this place is.

Fantastic experience: I am reviewing this for kids swim lessons, which is how I use the centre. I’ve been coming here for years, value for money for lessons is fantastic (compared to private companies). Somewhat recent refurb really improved the facilities; they’re clean and everything works pretty well. Soft play upstairs is great for before and after lessons. The only problem I’ve had is with booking and payment for lessons - they’re not the most organised and definitely not digitally savvy!

Fantastic experience: Brought in a group of young people for a session: staff were really helpful and they had a blast! We were expecting a long queue, but the process was very smooth and facilities clean! Will definitely visit again.

Fantastic experience: I'm a fan. Yes it can be busy at peak times (5:30pm - 7:30pm) and you will need to change your workout accordingly at the start of the week. But after these hours you will get a good workout in. This is more than just a gym as it offers football, badminton and many gym classes downstairs. The pool is what sets it apart from anything in the area and the sauna is the best way to unwind after a busy day.

Fantastic experience: No bad experience, they are quite laidback and the gym does not get too busy. I have been to busier gyms where you have to wait for the equipment and spot, lots of kids but does not get in your way as they are downstairs in the swimming area. If you live around the area, this is the place!

Fantastic experience: The gym here is great. Never too busy and really helpful team always available. I have been having personal training for just over six months with Michael and he's made me more fit than I've ever been before concentrating on technique to avoid injury and putting together an excellent programme for me to follow with my specific goals in mind. I can't rate this gym or Michael highly enough. Thank you.
