Horley Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: Horley is extremely lucky to have such a well run, clean facility. Not sure what the previous reviewer meant about the toilets smelling. I found the centre doesn't have that stale smell so familiar to other leisure centres. The pool is well lit, big, good temperature. Plus I really appreciate that there are good quality hairdryers that can be used for free without having to put 20p in for 1 min with a substandard hairdryer... I like the leisure centre lot. Plus it has amazing opening hours unlike many other establishments.

Positive experience: The swim classes are absolutely excellent. Those teachers really know how to instruct children. My son had a year of lessons at k2 with little progress… after very few lessons at Horley he is really getting it. Plus all the staff there have been so friendly and helpful to us.

Fantastic experience: Nice pool, changing rooms, staff and showers (actually hot ! not luke warm like other centres) just hate the 50mins lane swimming thing.

Positive experience: We used this leisure centre as my neice is a member of the centres in the group. The facilities were new and cleaned constantly, unlike others we have been too in the area. Baby facilities were very good and the showrers in the family changing rooms is such a good idea as we have 2 under 3 year olds with us. Only drawback was that the learner/baby pool was too cold, my 11 month old neices lips were going blue! after 20mins. We were so cold we got out after 30mins and won't be visiting again.

Fantastic experience: Recently joined this and have had a couple of swims which have been nice and leisurely. Lovely and modern with great showers. Good value at only £36 a month for swim, gym and fitness classes!

Fantastic experience: I use Horley swimming pool as it is so light inside due to having glass sided wallls, and when we have sun early in the morning it shines into the pool delightfully. The showers are hot and plentiful in the large communal changing room, and there are family changing cubicles which are large and have their own showers. There are occasionally repairs that need to be done, but they are usually sorted out at some time. The free hairdryers are brilliant; I have been to more "upmarket" pools where they charge for using their dryers. The staff are always helpful and friendly, and my only quibble would be that they need to be more proactive when some swimmers don't have good manners in the swimming lanes.

Fantastic experience: I I've taken my 9 year old and 1 year old here a couple of times. Lovely warm pool for babies I first took my boy when he was 5 months and it was very warm. We got a free family swim to try it out and it's now my new favourite pool although I live walking distance to k2 Crawley. Perfect if you have a older child and a toddler as both pools are close enough together for you to keep an eye on older child.

Fantastic experience: Pools are Basic, but baby pool is great for kids learning to swim, Depth is perfect. The Large pool is also excellent has steps gradual Ramp design with handrails that goes in the water is absolutely perfect for anyone with injuries or disability. The facilities are kept to a high standard of cleanliness. The family changing rooms are also of a good design because they have an inbuilt shower cubicle which is extremely handy when you got a little one that feels the cold. Other things I like. Fantastic experience: Very good place to visit and use , suitable for all ages and abilities.

Fantastic experience: Great place to take the kids swimming. The kids pool is a good temperature for the little ones, supervised by like Fe guards and it's a nice friendly atmosphere. They have family changing rooms which are large enough for a family of 4 with a shower in the changing room a baby seat and changing station. The lockers opposite are large enough for a families worth of stuff and they even have secure pram lock points.

Fantastic experience: Great fan of Horley Leisure Centre. Recently built and in great condition it has everything you'd expect from a small leisure center including gym, courts and two pools. The small pool can get a bit crowded at the weekend at peak times, especially when classes are running.
