Fantastic experience: Nice place very good leisure centre highly recommend

Fantastic experience: Still the best all round gym in newark , staff constantly cleaning and making sure antibacterial spray and wipes available for all members who want gyms to stay open during covid , great and helpful staff always on board for help and advice. And still not to busy until around 1700.

Fantastic experience: Great to be back at Newark Judo Club in the Leisure Centre. We practice in the main hall on Tuesdays from 7:30pm. There's a badminton and a fencing group that practice in there too. The judo group is for all ages from 5 years up.

Fantastic experience: Went swimming in the baby and toddler pool. Was impressed by the facilities and ease of use of the changing area.

Fantastic experience: A lot better now they have got rid of the big stones restricting the entrance. Just note that if you have a high vehicle you will have to buzz reception to gain entrance. Clean changing rooms and decent facilities

Fantastic experience: Grandchildren have swimming lessons here. They are getting extremely good coaching from the staff. Can seat and watch the children swim too. Excellent

Fantastic experience: Have been attending this leisure centre to swim recently following an injury to my back. It is a lovely place with friendly staff, particularly on reception. I was using the North hykeham pool, however this one is so much more welcoming. Changing rooms are kept very clean. Definitely recommend!

Positive experience: Accompanied school swimming lesson. Really clean, open, airy space. Instructors friendly and patient with the children. Changing area toilet open to the public so need to watch and make the children wait until they are empty. Not good. Hence only 4 stars.

Fantastic experience: Southwell leisure centre is an excellent place for many activities. Well maintained and staffed. I play squash here a couple of times a week.

Fantastic experience: Now we have sorted the issue of '' can't have an adult and child on the same e-mail address'' issue, I am thoroughly enjoying the swimming, yoga, pilates and aqua cycling.

Fantastic experience: Massive leisure facility close to centre of Newark. Swimming pools, several gym areas, including one with bikes, cross trainers, free weights, resistance machines. There is a lot of very nice equipment. Always classes going on and lots of activities to choose from. Staff are excellent, always helpful, with qualified trainers on hand. Prices are reasonable. All areas are clean. I have never seen it overcrowded, or been unable to use chosen equipment. Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Good to excellent facilities for swimming, fitness gym, sports halls and changing facilities. Adequate parking. All set in greensward area. Staff very helpful and friendly. Competent instructors only too happy to help patrons. Members only - membership reasonable costs - especially for students and other concessions.

Fantastic experience: Fab gymnastic classes for kids, coaching is amazing - much better than other leisure centres. Good, modern, air con gym & interesting fitness classes.

Fantastic experience: Used the swimming pool. Clean tidy changing facilities all well kept. Plenty changing areas for families to change together in the changing village. Pool is a good temperature even for kids. Plenty of toddler sessions on the timetable making it more accessible for families.

Fantastic experience: I've been going there for 3 years now, very modern very new, active 4 today has 3 branches close to me but newark one is the best one, large spaces, a lot of new equipment, even has a smart app for your workouts, a year ago they have bought in new equipment I.e. weights so there would be 2 or even 3 weights the same so all could share and don't have to wait for, they also offer corporate discounts so look in to that, parking is very big, recommend.

Fantastic experience: Very modern facilities. The staff are lovely and the classes are good. If I had one gripe the opening times could be a little longer but 06:30-22:00 is not bad. The gym area is well stocked with machines and equipment, the free weights never seem busy. The pool is lovely, with a nice small pool. Not to warm so good fit fitness swimming. The kids pool is warmer for the little ones.

Fantastic experience: A large gym with loads of different fitness machines to use and classes to go to. There is also a swimming pool and halls for playing Squash etc. I have gone down a dress size since I started going so well pleased.
