Fantastic experience: Great place for weddings, bowl's swimming, and fitness.

Fantastic experience: Attend a Federation meeting today and had a carvery lunch with the wife before the meeting. Good value £7 small and £9 large with a choice of turkey or beef and lovely fresh vegetables.

Fantastic experience: Magnificent local well run swimming pool bar and restaurant. Plenty of parking and made to feel most welcome. A lovely afternoon swim and followed by a cold beer and some nicely cooked simple food.

Fantastic experience: Great time swimming, small pool but big fun. Not over crowded. Changing rooms very clean, cleaners in attendance after each session. Has disabled section with changing rooms, ramp access Has a lovely eating area, serving delicious food, good value for money.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely mint! Family run leisure centre. We used the pool and found it to be plenty warm enough, water was nice and clean too. Three life guards were on at the time of our visit covering all angles. Flume was popular, and with numbers been carefully managed on entry to pool the queue for the flume was barely 1 minute. After our swim we went to the canteen where the menu was huge, with lots on offer....even T-bone steak. I would gladly recommend to others and we will be back as soon as we can.

Fantastic experience: You need to book online. However, we managed to get in on a cancellation, thanks to the staff member. The pool and staff were great. More than just a pool and worth a visit. Will definitely go again. Lovely session and friendly atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for years. A sports complex with large indoor bowls rink (my forte) with a bar with food attached and restaurant upstairs. Food is cheap but very good as is the beer especially the mild which down south now is almost nonexistent. Worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: Really good local place to do everything from the gym and the swimming pool and massive indoor bowls area to visiting for events like celebrity speech or local combat sports etc the do functions like weddings etc as well the cafe and food are fresh cooked and the Sunday carvery which this was the visit this time was almost home cooked good and the Sunday price is brilliant think it was a tenner or just over with a pudding staff a polite and helpful as well will be back 100%

Positive experience: First visit back today. Felt safe with everything within building except behaviour of couple of life guards on duty. Good job no incidents occurred as probably wouldn't have been noticed!!! The refurbishment has been earth the wait despite still no usable footpath before entering the pool.

Fantastic experience: Pool is the warmest in the area and is therefore always our go to pool. Receptionist is friendly and welcoming. Good food and fair prices.

Fantastic experience: Had a wonderful time swimming for the first time since Covid. The pool is lovely and warm and I love that it's only 1.4 metres deep in the deep end so my 10yr old feels confident, as she can almost touch the floor. The changing room facilities are nice and clean and the lockers are nice and big to fit all your stuff in with ease.

Fantastic experience: Great place to go and swim with kids that don't like a lot of noise, staff are wonderful and very helpful. The food and bar staff are fantastic

Fantastic experience: Used the swimming pool today. Limited to how many people attending. Which worked well. Jacuzzi closed as expected. Slide available to use. Changing rooms much better now had a makeover. You have to book and pay over the phone. Can't use shower's yet. Obviously toilets are available. You need a £1.00 coin for locker's.

Fantastic experience: Had a fantastic meal which didn't break the bank, the chips were home made thick cut and complimented the steak pie very well. Social distancing was taken seriously by the staff and we were made to feel welcome, parts of the building and decor does need modernising but that is expensive and maybe if people gave this place a try they could do that but none of that takes away from the great experience we had.

Fantastic experience: So this place seems to get a fair amount of negativity posted about it. Yes it could do with some investment and some TLC but today whilst swimming there was a medical emergency, a swimmer needed emergency attention and the young life guards were quick on the scene straight in the water without hesitation whilst other members of staff evacuated the pool. Well handled I thought.

Fantastic experience: I would like to stop putting so much chlorine in the Jacuzi, the rest very satisfied the water in the hot pool to all the pools in the area (Mansfield, Sutton-in-Ashfield, etc.)

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff and a nice bar along with cafe, also the swimming pool looks good although I've not seen the layout of the gym to comment but if the other facilities are anything to go by I would imagine it to be of the same standards.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant place to go to eat especially on a Sunday we get a different choices of your Sunday lunches and they're swimming and everything else it's very nice and of course take your children brilliant. I'm not sure when but there is a bouncy castle there as well free

Fantastic experience: Clean pool and reasonably priced. Great for younger children. Jacuzzi nice and clean and good changing facilities. Nice cafe area too. Gets busy during school holidays so best to go early as possible.

Fantastic experience: Great for fun swimming and warmer than most pools in the area, the slide is not too steep and access is via a spiral staircase. There is a hot tub which is nice and relaxing, and a sauna,however there is a charge to use the sauna. The changing rooms are not mixed changing ,and are at best adequate, in mens several smaller cubicles and one larger cubicle and one disabled cubicle with toilet. The showers are adequate. The cafe serves a good selection of meals and snacks plus drinks which are reasonably priced

Fantastic experience: My dad has brought me since I was 2 love it ! The slides good, the pools clean and so is the Hot tub. Great parking and very nice food.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place for all amenities fun for family and aldo caters for all weddings and parties somewhere to relax or keep fit but mostly a friendly warm and welcoming i would recommend this place to anyone that is planning a wedding or party The swimming pool is really good and has a good slide with also a jacuzzi and sauna and steam room one of the best places in the area so get yourselves down there The staff are exceptionally friendly and very happy they are obviously enjoying the work there

Fantastic experience: Great for family swim. We take our 6 month Baby regularly . Facilities for changing baby available poolside. Water warm enough for baby to enjoy a lovely calm experience

Fantastic experience: Loved the swimming with small children. Not too busy and we had fun. The food in the bar was less than good and I wouldn't recommend you eat therw as its all warmed up microwave rubbish.
