My four year old has been having lessons since the end of February, she was very clingy to begin with and wouldn't jump in, this week she jumped in and swam 8 metres by herself! great swim school and worth the drive down the bumpy road???? Gaby and Maurice are great teachers, thank you for teaching Freya how to swim!

Fantastic experience: We love rubba duckies- my son has really progressed in his 6 months with the school. He has grown in confidence and really taken to the water. A pleasure to see

Fantastic experience: We are so happy to have found Rubba Duckies. Our sons needed to get their confidence back, following lack of swimming after lockdown. After 1 session of the 6 week class- they were kids transformed, so confident and happy in the water. Megan, who teaches has been wonderful, she's happy to hold children and has lots of tricks to make them feel comfortable. We've always been made to feel so welcome and instantly part of the swim school. I would not hesitate to recommend.

Fantastic experience: Rosie has been swimming here for over 4 years and it’s some of the best money we’ve ever spent. She adores Gaby and Lauren, they are both excellent teachers (as are the other teachers she’s had on occasion.) At 4 years old, Rosie is able to confidently swim up and down the pool and it’s all down to the great teaching she’s received.

Fantastic experience: Gaby and the team are fantastic! The lessons are very small and really tailored to the individual children and their skills. I have been taking my daughter to Rubba Duckies since she was a tiny newborn and now she's 5 and still absolutely loves her lessons. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: So impressed after our first lesson. My toddler had a bad experience at the previous swim school. This was all forgotten almost as soon as he was in the pool with the Rubba Duckies, he had an absolute blast and couldn’t wait to go back next week.

Fantastic experience: Great tuition for children, just a shame about the tired access road

Fantastic experience: Rubba Duckies has taught all 3 of our kids to swim. Highly recommend them. Best team ever.

Fantastic experience: The support my son has had from the entire team at Rubba Duckies has been incredible. When he first started, my son was nervous of the water. 6 months in, he's confident and can swim nearly a length. The pool is heated, and there is plenty of spaces for adults to sit and watch their children learn. 10/10

Fantastic experience: A fantastic SA run swim school where they actually teach kids to swim, not matter what their age. I saw a 3yo learning to swim with my 5yo! Worth every penny, and the trek to get there. Highly recommended!

Positive experience: Gabby and Maurice are great teachers, a great place to teach kids to swim. The only issue are the roads to their home, essentially impassable unless you drive a SUV or 4x4 (worse in winter). There is a path through from Wood Street Village side, however can be difficult to walk through the last section when it's been raining.
