Negative experience: worst gym I have ever been to in my life, they have an olympic lifting platform just for show and the GM tells people not to olympic lift, then blames them for making "noise", their rule on the platform changes on the daily as well: first don't release anything over your head, 2nd don't release anything at shoulder level, 3rd don't release anything above your hips, 4th dont release anything at your hips or even below your hips, so basically this gym doesn't want you to lift heavy deadlifts in general, it has to be a library at this place, absolute trashcan of a place filled with personal trainers that don't even know what olympic lifting is (how are you a trainer?) and allows verbal abuse to be done at others even when the GM is standing in the midst listening to it, do not ever go to this place filled with the most ignorant trainers and GMs and brainless muscleheads of all time, you rather drink bleach then deal with people here

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff who will help when you need it, or if you want to learn about new equipment, good wide open spaces to work out, lots of variety of equipment, I like it here

Fantastic experience: TruGym is a good place to gym. The gym is well organised compare to PureGym. The surrounding always look clean and good friendly place. Staffs are friendly and alway ready to help. Far far better than Pure Gym with lots of kids not gyming but occupied machines.

Positive experience: Great just a small handful of machines aren't working

Positive experience: Disappointing swim today as pool full of young children - i forgot it was children permitted in afternoons - but my concern was safety as no gym staff around and children under 10 were in spa and a young boy also went in steam room and was in there for over 5 mins - far too hot for a young child and rules of gym state children are not permitted in these areas - so why is this not being monitored ? Also very young children jumping in and out of pool - again not permitted - and with no lifeguard on duty and no staff i think there were far too many small children for the pool area to be safe

Positive experience: A big thank you to Rita who went out of her way to help my mum sort out her billing/cancellation issue. Rita was so genuine and sincere in her efforts to help - always following up with phone calls and making sure we understood the process and weren't going to get ripped off. Was really refreshing to be treated this way by the admin of a gym and they're usually notorious for making it extremely difficult to cancel!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic gym, I joined this gym recently and I should have joined sooner. Staff is Fantastic and very polite, they always make time to great you. Other gym users are very polite and Everyone makes you feel at ease, the swimming pool is fantastic and so is the steam room and the jacuzzi. My only observation is, would be great to have wireless but nevertheless this is a fantastic gym with plenty of equipment and fantastic people.

Fantastic experience: Joined last week actually really like it good equipment great staff one of the best staff I’ve ever seen in a gym actually great atmosphere I joined with the intention of only doing classes but after working with one of the trainers there Joe I’d actually like to get more into weights as well.

Relaxed feel and other users speak to you although not too much Noticed today 22.7.22 there is additional equipment. Good to see the gym is not standing still.

Positive experience: I love this gym. Very much relaxed and nothing to be worried about. Great vibes. Only thing I'd say is the swimming pool changing facilities and ceiling of pool. Only 2 cubicles to get changed if you are wanting privacy but does have spacious areas to get undressed. I think there maybe a large changing unit but uncertain as it's often shut. Great support too. Just ask for help, they are always happy to help.

Fantastic experience: Great gym. Should open an hour early. Too busy between 5-7pm and not practical for working hours in the morning abit awkward to get in most the time. Great gym tho

Fantastic experience: Popped in today to view the premises with the view to join. A helpful staff member made me feel very welcome & answered all my questions. Facilities look good & affordable membership. Looking forward to getting started. My partner was impressed too so we have both joined.

Fantastic experience: Lovely friendly staff

Fantastic experience: This gym has everything any gym user would need. Very spacious, loads of machines, weights, kettlebells, sled, foam rollers, in fact all the equipment you could possibly need, classes, pool, jacuzzi and steam room. Changing rooms are large and staff are very friendly and approachable and there is a cafe and seating area too. Mixed gym users - from twenty somethings to more elderly; serious competitors to keeping on top of the spare tyre clients - don't feel intimidated or uncomfortable regardless of your level. Opens at 6am so plenty of time for a pre-work session and plenty of on-site parking. What else do you need?

Fantastic experience: Returned here after it changed from DW Fitness and happy to say that it’s still got brilliant equipment, friendly staff and great facilities. Shame that the jacuzzi is still not working, though!

Positive experience: I train with the brilliant and inspirational Wojtek Wasag, personal trainer who started at TruGym this week. In the past few days I have met most of the staff, been in the gym and used the swimming pool area. Good value for money, TruGym staff all very helpful. OT cafe-nice food too. Looking forward to trying some classes!

Fantastic experience: I’m typically very concerned going to a gym due to an uncomfortable environment but this gym doesn’t have that. Everyone is extremely friendly, the training classes are great with awesome instructors! The manager of the gym is very friendly with a lot of knowledge.

Positive experience: I am new member, it is a spacious new gym with a pool. Has Life Fitness equipment which is one of the best and a bit of others. The equipment they have is very functional and a good range the only downside is the cardio machines are the more basic model and a bit dated now but then easier to use than the newer models. I hope they update some of the cardio machines as the gym gains more members. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Positive experience: Looking good. ✔free car park ✔good size pool ✔very good membership prices ✔ goos size with few studio rooms I had a tour and I have not been disappointed. It is delayed from opening but with all the work they are doing, we can waive that. Sounds like they will have enough members of staff to run classes regularly and help customers on the gym floor. All kind of equipment. Reception with soft drinks and snacks. 4starts only because still waiting to see if all will be as it looks like. Opening on 29th. So looking forward to start using all of the facilities. It has been couple of weeks now and since joining I have notice few things. At the moment I am only going to the classes. Good choice with different instructors. All of them very positive and motivation running high. Steam Room and Jacuzzi haven't been working as yet, which is a bit disappointing, however, as a new place, I would expect some bums on the road. Let's just hope this will be sorted soon enough.
