Bourne Leisure Centre

Positive experience: The centre is slowly improving; the smell in the changing rooms of toilets is still present though. The staff are on the whole good, though some rude lifeguards who don't want to have to do anything. The swim school is quite good, with some very enthusiastic young teachers, mixed in with old, stroppy ones (and not necessarily knowledgeable!)

Positive experience: Needs family changing. Cafe not open. Get these sorted and would be great place to swim.

Positive experience: Fun time visit today with my two grandsons (6 and 3). Well organised with booking online beforehand and controlling numbers and time limit. 1.5 hours was plenty of time to enjoy the splash time and delighted to see that the slidec2as back in action.

Fantastic experience: I thought I would amend my review to reflect more fairly how I feel about this gym - originally I had been going elsewhere for wright's and using the pool only. Now I only use this gym and I couldn't be happier. The gym itself is due a bit of an update, they have recently had new air con installed which is a much welcome addition! Within the gym itself everyone is extremely welcoming and it does have a family friendly feel to it. The swimming pool is good and I often enjoy bringing my son to the pool for family splash days.

Fantastic experience: Visited Bourne leisure centre today for the family splash, friendly staff , clean changing rooms and pool and pool area lovely and clean , and we all had a great time , will definitely be visiting regularly

Fantastic experience: Absolutely love the classes here! Laura and Sue are great. Just wish there could be more, especially Laura’s gym floor class on a Wednesday. Staff are always super friendly as well. Laura is fantastic at keeping everyone motivated and always has a smile on her face.

Fantastic experience: I would like to pass on my thanks and gratitude to Ciara, one of your lifeguards, who stepped up and came to my aid when she witnessed a car accident last week, in which I had to be cut out by the fire service. She jumped into action and stayed with me while the emergency services arrived, making sure I didn’t move, and reassuring me. You plainly train your staff well, but also her willingness to help is truly appreciated. She’s a star ⭐️

Fantastic experience: Gym is fantastic clean ,good and well maintained equipment. Staff are helpful and friendly. Pool also great for young and old.

Positive experience: Although a good set up with checking bookings on arrival, the cleanliness of the changing rooms was shocking especially as there seemed to be time between our visit and the people before hand. Disappointed to not have the wave machine on too with the family splash time

Positive experience: Clean and efficient service under covid conditions. Kids loved being back in the water. Ashame the slide and wave machine are not open. Not sure why they were not open, surely they can't be using covid as an excuse for that.

Positive experience: The locker (21) 20p is refundable, which is fair. But the locker then doesn't work, not had another 1 available so had to bring clothes etc to pool side.

Fantastic experience: Gd pool warm enough for my lo and she loves the elephant slide and mushroom we go most Saturdays Gym nice and clean, got shown round and shown what equipment would benefit me now go most days. Staff always friendly and willing to help

Positive experience: Service was good, changing rooms clean. Pool was clean however noticed algae in some areas, it would be great if the wave machine was on.

Positive experience: Swimming facilities: Very adequate. Changing rooms clean if a bit tatty. several fountains, wave machine, water slide etc loses points for inaccuracy of the timetable on the website Gains them for excellent customer service otherwise.

Fantastic experience: Really great family leisure pool with waves and a slide for the little ones. Children’s birthdays parties always fun at this venue.

Positive experience: Quite small especially compared to Grantham. Had wave machine but doesn't come on for long (about 2 mins per 1/2 hour). Slide was closed. Water was quite cold, again compared to Grantham. No big booths in changing rooms, nor family changing. Staff were good.

Positive experience: Lovely pool, the kids enjoyed all the features, waves and slide. If there were a few more staff the slide could be open a lot more instead of once an hour. Also the water was cold and when your standing around in the water with kids it felt even worse and I had to drag them out with their teeth chattering and I was going numb

Positive experience: My son seemed to enjoy it, it hasn't changed much in 20 odd years apart from things being removed or not working etc. Water is fairly clear and wave machine is a bit weak but nice for kids I suppose. On the whole Showing its age, but not bad, if your stuck with a manky day, kids will always enjoy it, and any wee has plenty of water to disperse in!!
