Fantastic experience: I love the architecture and the layout of the building but I think you should turn the whole place into a indoor arena, it would bring in a lot of money and big events can happen

Fantastic experience: Went to see sleeping beuty twice and i saw the last performance. Amazing best panto ive ever seen! Richard/mervin was my favorite so happy for him going to be an actor but so sad to see him go. Sad to see its over but it was fabulous!!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely incredible. I visited to see Rupaul’s Drag Race Season 2 Tour live and it was everything and beyond that. The staff were helpful and welcoming. However, the toilets were crowded and they only allowed you to get drinks during intervals which was a bummer due to the queues, and if they got too long, security would stand at the back of the queue and tell people to sit down.

Fantastic experience: Visited to watch Jack Whitehall. Parking was directly outside only a short walk to the venue. Bar area was well stocked and staffed. Sound system and views were also excellent.

Fantastic experience: Having been to a few Velodrome tracks I was pleasantly surprised by the more laid back and friendly set up here. The coaches weren't OTT with unnecessary rules and appreciated that as a group we were there because we just wanted to enjoy the experience and razz round and enjoy it for what it was. 2 hrs went really quick, they kept us safe, and spent plenty of time and attention of the different abilities, taking care of the less confident and making sure the more gung ho didn't kill anyone. Good to see the centre space being used for table tennis on such a huge scale too. Would suggest timing your run to visit when there isn't a footy match on next door as that hinders access, but that's not the venues fault. Free clean and tidy showers and changing facilities for before and after. You need to provide your own padlock. The cafe doesn't have a good selection of cakes, just rubbish things in wrappers which is strange for a cycling venue because bikes and cake are like peas and carrots in my head.

Fantastic experience: very advance arena. We usually go every year to play table tennis and it is very amazing. Just the quality of the food was not great, I hope they increase that too..

Fantastic experience: I went there being with Derby County Community Trust getting back to doing exercises due to my BMI being very high. I enjoyed it very much. But I ached all over.

Fantastic experience: Went to watch grandsons getting coached on cycling track. They both had a great morning. They travel often long distances to get this worthwhile coaching. Also whilst there i saw teens in a seriously contested table tennis final. All in all a great place. Oh and the drinks were reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: Just started at the Gym here! Brilliant! Such a friendly helpful team, and the equipment is always working! Lovely Cafe 24, serving homemade soups too! Also felt very Covid Safe

Fantastic experience: Took my son for a taster session on the track and we were absolutely blown away by how good it was. The building is spotless and quite beautiful, my son found his coach to be passionate about cycling and that was infectious. He passed Stage 1 and we've signed up for stage 2 as soon as we could. The lady on the desk was also most helpful and friendly to us clueless newbies and we felt immediately welcome. There's a nice cafe for a coffee and on the day we went there was a table tennis competition going on on the ground floor on the level down from the track. It was a nice place to spend a Saturday morning. Only wish we'd known about it sooner.

Fantastic experience: Went to see Sarah Millican. Had a great night. Super friendly and helpful staff. As a disabled person and wheelchair user, it's hard to go out and not have to worry about accessibility and facilities as well as waiting in long lines, and being in big crowds. It was lovely not to worry about any of that. Ticket pick up was simple and eas. Queues were well handled and priority lines for disabled people was fantastic. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you for making my night so easy to enjoy.

Fantastic experience: Went here last night to see postponed elvis show. Very impressed with show and seating. Good view of the stage. £5 parking fee which was directed by staff.. Security checks good.. Staff wearing masks.. Bar prices bit expensive.. (£9for can of budweiser and can of strongbow) but very enjoyable experience..

Fantastic experience: Exceptionally used as vaccination center. I'm very looking forward to attend a sport event inside. Will be the sign that life has started to flow again. Massive thank you to all the NHS staff and volunteers.

Fantastic experience: I really can't judge the Arena as a venue place. I was there with a friend for his Covid jab. It was organized efficient, still with signs for social distancing. It definitely felt safe. The staff/volunteers were really helpful. The building from outside looks intersting. I think there is enough space for parking when there's a venue.

Fantastic experience: This visit was to get my vaccination so I can't really call this a review of the arena? However the process to get the jab was a seamless and professional experience. Well done NHS and to the amazing helpful volunteers.

Fantastic experience: Went there for my first covid jab. Extremely impressed with the setup they had. Safe, very efficient. Was only waiting in line for 15 minutes, the nurses and volunteers were all very pleasant. It makes me proud of our NHS and public volunteers.

Fantastic experience: I went for my first Vaccine today at the Arena and they were brilliant! I was so nervous the staff were so lovely and made me feel so calm! Want to say a big thank to the staff for their service and kindness! See you again soon for 2nd one.

Fantastic experience: A multi purpose arena designed on the outside to look like something from a science fiction movie. Great facilities and easy to find, lots of parking. M

Fantastic experience: Had my first vaccine today and couldn't have gone better. A welcome round every corner from the volunteers. Kind and polite staff when doing the vaccine. Adequate seating area for the 15 minute wait. Everything explained clearly and patiences given. Perfect if your someone who is anxious about the experience. Plenty of on site parking too.

Fantastic experience: We came for our jabs in the last few months. Everyone was amazing so helpful and friendly. Great parking lots of spaces. It was a nice experience and the building looks great inside and out!

Fantastic experience: Best place ever! My mother had a physiotherapy session there. Also my family and I got our vaccination jab there! In general, there was clean and staffs were polite.

Fantastic experience: Had both my jabs here. The staff and volunteers created a very professional, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. On both occasions I was done within about 5 minutes of entering the building. Brilliant, thank you and very well done. Go and have a peek at the wildlife trust area at the rear of the car park before driving home.

Fantastic experience: Having only attended for our vaccines, most recently taking my gran yesterday. I can say that I am impressed with the area, easy to get to, plenty of on site parking. All the staff have been lovely. The arena itself is modern inside, well presented and clean. Very much looking forward to attending events there in the future

Fantastic experience: Third year in a row to see Morgan Brinds Panto, all three have been excellent, entertaining fun filled shows. Car parking has always been fine ( not sure if football match on at same time, will be so easy) £3 when panto parking. Paths, venue both sides of ticket collection very spacious, staff have always looked happy and very hard working especially after the show cleaning up following the show. Took a bit longer to get to this year due to road works, but not the venue's fault. Not had to use the venue's facilities so can't comment on them, but everywhere else has looked new and extremely clean.

Fantastic experience: I really enjoyed my session here. The coach was very helpful and I got up to speed sooner than I thought. You can hire all your kit if it's your first time and there is a wide range of bikes and shoes even if you are very tall.

Fantastic experience: Hi attended this venue for my son's graduation. It is an amazing venue with plenty of parking (£3 charging for parking as it was a graduation event). There is a cafe at the entrance which was very reasonable also which was a pleasant surprise. We ordered three bacon cobs a coffee and two apple juices for £12. The staff were friendly and the event was well organised.
