Fantastic experience: Have been going to Bottomline for 18 months now. I didn't tell anyone I was going to start with because I was sure I would only last a month maximum. But here I am 18 months later really enjoying feeling fitter and healthier. For me it was not about the weight loss specifically but more about body shape and confidence which both Neil and Emma are helping me on the journey to achieve-still work in progress! Neil and Emma are a fantastic duo providing different specialities which completely complement each other. They are both focussed on adapting and implementing programmes to personal needs. The facilities at Bottomline are excellent too providing a great place to sweat (or glow if you are a lady) and swear discretely!

Fantastic experience: Neil and Emma deserve nothing less than 5stars! Their tailored approach to fitness, nutrition and biomechanics has turned me from a novice to a bit of a gym and wellbeing fanatic. Furthermore, their expertise, 1-2-1 training and well equipped gym has been worth the investment. I would always recommend Bottom Line Fitness to anyone serious about making a change in their life!

Fantastic experience: Been using Bottomline Lifestyle and Fitness for over a year and they offer the perfect solution for my training needs. I train with both Emma and Neil who offer different specialisms to cover all eventualities - nutrition, bio mechanics, general fitness training etc. The studio is perfect for me - small but well equipped and without the elements of a large gym which I find intimidating. I train twice a week and always leave feeling that I have achieved something and the programme has been designed for my specific needs.

Fantastic experience: Neil and Emma provide the absolute best in personal training and beyond! Neil is an absolute master in his field and combines his unrivalled knowledge with a friendly yet strong and unwavering ability to make even the weakest willed work to their full capacity... "my hamster died", "I broke a nail", "dog ate my trainers"... he's heard them all and is happy to provide 5 minutes of counselling prior to refocus. In all seriousness Neil and Emma provide a service that doesn't need to beat any competitor because there is no other place like it or in the same league. Neil helped me to achieve my personal best and my goal during my time under his guidance. The facilities are uncluttered and perfectly aligned for the type of program required to reach your goals. If only I could transport them to Bristol to re-energise me!

Fantastic experience: Update - we are still training with BLF and it continues to be a great experience. The program structure and exercises change regularly enough to keep interest but slow enough that we can see progression. Support continues to be excellent, guiding us through our personal goals or injury. The rest of the client base continues to be great fun and enthusiastic, which makes coming to sessions so much easier. I highly recommend. -------- My husband and I have been training on and off with BLF since 2012. They have been supportive through my pre and post natal exercise and have advised on suitable nutrition to help me lose weight. The small group training format has motivated me to push myself and improve my form, so now I am lifting more weight than ever. Neil, Emma and Tom design challenging, interesting and varied programmes but are more than able to alter something if needed on an evening. All the clients are equally as friendly and motivating and (unbelievably!!) I now really enjoy my regular exercise. I 100% recommend BLF for anyone wanting to improve strength, core stability, post natal fitness or increase performance in the gym.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member of Bottom Line Fitness since February and it’s the best decision I’ve made this year. I’ve lost weight in a healthy, sustainable way, and I’m the fittest I’ve been for years. The trainers are all brilliant and they are completely invested in you as an individual. From coaching you on form, to providing expertise on nutrition, or just making you believe in yourself - they do everything, and they do it really well. They get to know you - your limits, as well as your goals - and push you just the right amount to get you to where you want to be. I didn’t think I’d ever be the type of person who feels confident in the gym, or someone who looks forward to training, but I really do. It’s all down to the culture that Neil and Emma create at BLF - there’s no unhealthy competition or pressure, it’s just a community of people who thrive on seeing each other win. I love training here and I would recommend BLF to anyone.

Nutrition support, injury recovery support, specific programs when training for competitions and socials all on top of brilliant small group training sessions! Amazing place to train

Fantastic experience: Been with Bottom Line Fitness for 4 months now, it is so much more than a gym. As the training sessions are small the whole experience is very personal, the team get to know you really well and work with you to overcome any challenges you have. Weekly check ins are available where you give feedback on the +\- of the week, one of the team come back to you on this and uses the feedback to help you in the coming week. There is a great selection sessions through the week, a mix of small group training and HIIT type sessions, I have no problems getting 5 sessions in a week. There is a small outdoor area to the side of the gym and a large door on the front which is opened up in nice weather, this allows the gym to be taken outside which is great. Not directly why I joined but in the 4 months I have lost a fair amount of weight there is also plenty of nutritional advice available. All 3 trainers are very supportive, throughout each session you are given plenty of advice and encouraged to push when they feel you can, I have never felt uncomfortable by either the trainers or the other members, everyone is always very welcoming right from my 1st session

Fantastic experience: Absolutely brilliant, well thought out, cost effective and better alternative to 1-1 personal training. If you have thought how good personal training 3 to 4 times a week would be, but thought you couldn’t afford it, try bottom line fitness. I’ve had lots of different personal trainers over the years but this beats it all easily. Take the trail, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: Bottom Line Fitness has been a key part in my life over the past 3 and a bit years, helping me to achieve my fitness goals and much more. Neil, Emma and Tom are all amazing PTs, who have always been aware of my limits, pushing me at the rights times. My confidence has grown and grown directly as a result of the fine work that takes place at BLF. Fantastic experience: I’ve trained with Neil and Emma on and off for many years. The “new format” (new to me anyway) of group training is fantastic. Masses of variation, motivational, social and most of all completely safe and clean (very important in these strange times). Exercise, nutrition, massage all absolute top quality with a very personal service from people who really care about you achieving your goals, constantly working with you - e.g. I had back issues and tennis elbow, and we trained around them to great effect. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Fantastic experience: I joined 3 months ago and have never looked back! Not having any real experience of gyms previously the support I have been given has been superb. The environment is great and I feel very comfortable. The small classes are perfect and encourage mutual motivation! Completely changed how I now exercise and feel about myself - love it ! The PT’s are fabulous!! Highly recommend to anyone - whatever level of fitness you are at.

Fantastic experience: I just started a trial with Bottom Line Fitness three weeks ago but I’m already very impressed with the team and the service they offer. Very Covid secure, good selection of different work outs for cardio, strength etc and great personalised service. I really enjoy the small four people sessions they offer - feels a little like a personal training session but with company, which I find more motivating. Easy to book sessions through the online app and lots of different time slots available depending on whether you’re an early bird or a night owl. Thanks for the support so far

Fantastic experience: Can honestly say Bottom line Fitness has been a breath of fresh air when it comes to training and the programmes they offer. Such a good team of trainers that are not only very knowledgeable and professional but also considerate and understanding. There’s no egos down there. Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this gym enough. The small group training ensures you receive the feel of a personal trainer with the added competitive push of training alongside others. For me this has ensured I remain motivated for the whole session, pushing myself more than I ever could training on my own. And with this comes noticeable results within weeks. Neil, Emma & Tom really know their stuff and guide you through the session, correcting your technique when needed. They are incredibly friendly & welcoming and support you both in the gym and out, always there to help with any questions you may have. Along with excellent nutritional information, progress measurements, a high class gym environment and quality equipment you really do feel in safe, professional hands. Even during an horrendous year they have kept the sessions going with online classes which have allowed people to keep focus on their targets. Well done and thank you Emma, Neil & Tom xx

Fantastic experience: I am really enjoying training at BLF. I love being pushed to do my best. Emma, Neil and Tom are very attentive and encouraging. They make sure I’m doing the exercise correctly. Everyone I’ve met there has been friendly. No one is judging me, except for me. The diet information and recipes are very helpful and detailed. The regular weigh ins are informative. Recording all sort of info like body fat and muscle growth. If I have any questions, I text and they are always quick to get back to me. I working at least 4x harder than I would on my own and doing stuff I would never of attempted on my own. I’m two months in an looking forward to seeing how far I can get. I’d recommend it to everyone

Fantastic experience: This is the most brilliant gym. I'm not the sort of person who thought they would enjoy training with weights. The people are so friendly (both the staff and the other gym members). The coaching is excellent (both about exercise and diet). I'm feeling great and I can see the difference in the mirror. If you're looking to step up and get a more healthy lifestyle this is definitely the place to go.

Fantastic experience: Took the opportunity to undertake a 1-month trial to kick start my planned fitness revitalisation choosing BLF after checking most of the available Gyms in the local area and hearing really positive thinks about BLF. At first, I was sceptical about a gym that offered personal training in groups of up to four people at a time but my scepticism proved unfounded after just a few sessions due to the dynamic group sessions which leave you feeling as though you have had the personal trainer workout.

Fantastic experience: Bottom line Fitness has surpassed my expectations and I’m not easily pleased. I don’t like going to the gym. I can never sustain the motivation and i’m bad at making myself accountable but I absolutely love training here. Neil and team have a great program to help you meet your goals in a comfortable environment. It’s never dull or boring and I always walk out feeling much better than when I walked in. They give you the confidence to push yourself sensibly and I’ve already started to see results after only a month. Highly recommend

Fantastic experience: I joined BLF 5 months ago after wanting to get myself back into shape and regain some confidence... after some googling, this place seemed to tick all the boxes! Everybody is so friendly, no judgement or feeling of intimidation, just everyone being supported on their own individual journeys and having a laugh along the way! Would highly recommend BLF to anyone wanting to start tackling their fitness goals, you’ll be amazed at what you can achieve and the dedication from trainers is second to none... the only place for personal training in Derby in my opinion! Thank you Neil and Emma for creating such a warm and inviting fitness environment that I can be a part of!

Fantastic experience: I was tempted into BLF last year with an offer, fully intending to use it as an experiment and then move on. It didn’t work out like that at all! The crew are knowledgeable and focused on helping you to get the most out of your work out, the programs have been challenging and I can see real improvement in my fitness.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic focused and friendly gym with great facilities. The whole team are really welcoming and encouraging. I’ve been working with Tom twice a week for a few months, he’s a brilliant trainer and we have a great rapport. I really enjoy my sessions and with Toms tailored programs I’m starting to smash my goals. Highly recommend Bottom Line!

Fantastic experience: Can't recommend Bottom Line Fitness enough! I have been training with Tom three times per week for the last two months on the SPPT programme and I can't fault it. The plans and exercises are easy to follow, explained thoroughly, and hits just the right level of intensity to see quick results. Tom is always on hand to offer advice, motivation and that extra push you need to improve!

Fantastic experience: I have recently started early morning small group training sessions after a break of two years. Tom is a great PT and ensures we all get enough attention, help and advice as we all have different programmes. The gym is well equipped so there is never an issue getting to use equipment. Neil Stanley and his team do a great job.

Fantastic experience: Love this place!! I have been training with Ollie at Bottom Line Fitness for a little over 6 months and I have lost 1 and half stone so far. I started with 1 day per week and I am now seeing Ollie twice per week and I am gaining more and more confidence each week. This is a really friendly place and would recommend to anyone. I have also seen the lovely Emma for nutrition and I see Chloe for sports massage regularly who is amazing.

Fantastic experience: I’m so happy with my experience at Bottom Line Fitness. Since May this year I’ve trained with a few of the PTs, but I now attend regular sessions with Stacey and Tom and I’m really feeling and seeing the benefit. The programs are challenging, but are specific to me and my goals and I regularly work with Stacey and Tom to update them as needed. The feel of the gym is friendly and personal, and not at all intimidating. It is ideal for all age ranges and abilities. The semi-private sessions are small and everyone has plenty of time to ask questions and get the help they need. I can’t recommend BLF highly enough - I’m even sad to be going on holiday and missing my sessions! Keep up the good work guys!

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Tom at BLF for around 6 weeks following a long period away from the gym. The entire team, from nutrition, to coaching, to facilities and the training itself is the best I have ever come across. I'm building serious strength and muscle, losing fat and achieving my goals. But more than that, I feel great; physically and psychologically the best I have in years. I look forward to every session, and the confidence I am building is having a positive impact on all aspects of my life. If you're thinking about PT and are unsure, go for it! It's a commitment and it's not some £20 per month gym membership you'll never use, it really does become part of your lifestyle; if you're prepared to commit and work hard. For me the results speak for themselves, and I can't recommend Bottom Line Fitness highly enough. Big thanks to Tom, Neil, and Emma for getting me this far, bring on the next session!

Fantastic experience: I came to Neil to try to lose some weight as a quick fix before my wedding in June but I've now discovered a love of training! With the help of Emma's nutritional advice, I now feel strong and healthy for the first time in years. Neil keeps my sessions varied and completely personalised to my needs but always pushes me to get better and better. I can see how much progress I've made as I'm currently using weights I never imagined I'd be able to pick up, let alone do squats with! I would recommend BLF to absolutely anyone.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Bottom Line Fitness for three months and have been delighted with my results so far. Craig has a brilliant knowledge and experience and will put a great amount of time and effort into getting you the results you are looking for, if you are willing to make changes and put the hard work in also. I have tried many fad diets in the past and can honestly say with the professional help and support from Craig I now view food very differently. I feel healthier and happier than I have for a long time. I have tried other gyms and been made to feel uncomfortable but all of the team at Bottom Line are friendly and approachable. I would thoroughly recommend Bottom Line Fitness to anyone who wants to make a change to their lifestyle.

Fantastic experience: I started working with Neil from Bottom Line as I needed some motivation and support to re-gain my enthusiasm for exercise and to guide me towards a healthier lifestyle. He has certainly done this. Neil has provided me with nutrition advice and information to enable me to eat in a more healthy way. The training programmes produced are challenging and the results are rewarding. He has provided me with the basis for a much needed lifestyle change and educated me in a way that will enable to me continue to move forwards with my exercise and make informed healthy lifestyle choices. Fantastic experience: I have been training with Neil at Bottomline Fitness for a year now. At the time I was training for the London Marathon and wanted to add strength and conditioning work to help me become a better runner. We have worked on biomechanics and nutrition as well as a weight training program and the results have been brilliant in all areas. With Neil's expert guidance, after reaching my target weight, I continue to exchange body fat for lean tissue. My running is improving still and I have reached a level of fitness that I never imagined to be possible. Whatever your age or health and fitness goals, I recommend you give the team at Bottomline a try.

Fantastic experience: I love it here, I've been training with Neil for a few months now, initially to lose weight for my wedding but I know I'll be continuing well after I'm married. It's been a complete lifestyle change and Neil's helped me every step of the way with all the nutrition & fitness plans. He pushes me way past anything I ever thought I could do myself & the plans he does for me to do outside the studio are just as challenging. All the other trainers are lovely and are genuinely interested in your progress. I've seen a huge change in such a short time and I know Neil's just at the end of the line whenever I need him. The studio space is great and it's all so personal, I really can't recommend them enough.

Fantastic experience: When I first came to BLF, I had put my body through every fad diet imaginable. I had done Slimming World, lemon water diet, cayenne pepper detoxes, and all sorts. It's not until I started personal training with Neil that I realised how much damage I could have done to myself, not just physically but mentally. I would binge eat one day and restrict my intake the next, yo-yoing in terms of diet, dedication to the gym, and how hard I worked. It was a real rollercoaster. Coming to BLF has helped me to balance my outlook on food - I don't punish myself anymore and I don't feel the need to starve myself or carry on eating if I'm full. I go to the gym and work hard because I enjoy it. I've always been a cardio hater, but now I'm finding myself going out on a run in the evening and really loving it. I'm enjoying making my own food, really thinking about what I'm eating day to day and how it affects me. I'm not falling asleep at my desk at 2.30 any more! On the days when I'm not feeling so great or when my motivation could be better, Neil has been only a text or phonecall away - I can always ask about anything, no matter how stupid the question, and he has already done me a detailed food plan and a gym plan to match. Having been vegetarian for 10 years, I decided to eat meat again for my health - Neil's been really supportive and helped me to gain a healthy outlook on the right kind of meat to have and the right amount to be eating. Every session we review my progess and so I always feel like I'm moving forward. Over all, I would say that coming to BLF is definitely one of the best things I could have done for my health. My mind set has totally changed, I feel happier in myself and I don't dread catching sight of myself in the mirror any more!! It's a supportive, motivational, helpful environment to be in and I couldn't be more grateful for all the help I have received so far. :)

Fantastic experience: I've been going to bottomline for over 2 years now and it's been a great experience. The plans Neil comes up with are always challenging and he keeps them varied - no chance of getting bored. Emma's nutrition advice is first class and has completely changed the way we eat.
