Fitness Vault is a private fitness studio offering both personal and group training of the highest standard. It's run by Sport and Exercise Science graduate, James Shenton, who's committed to providing an unrivalled training experience and helping people unlock their potential through effective exercise and educated food choices. 

Personal training is an opportunity to re-focus on you and make positive steps towards improving your physical and mental well-being. Training at Fitness Vault is entirely flexible, and due to our group PT approach can also be affordable long term. We coach and guide  you through our training plans, ensuring you're getting the most out of your workouts and getting closer to achieving your fitness goals. 1-2-1 sessions are available if you need more attention - ideal for beginners or those of you looking to learn more advanced training techniques. Sessions are available throughout the day between 6:15am and 8:30pm on weekdays, and at weekends also.

Join the ultimate group training experience at Fitness Vault to get the most out of your workouts. You're more likely to exercise regularly when you train in a group meaning you're more likely to get the results you're looking for. Not only are your sessions planned for you but you'll also benefit from James's expert guidance throughout. James delivers two styles of group sessions; Burst, an advanced high intensity full body workout for those who like to be pushed to their limit, and Circuits, a low impact workout combining short cardio intervals and resistance exercises - ideal for beginner to intermediate fitness levels.

If you're serious about losing weight healthily you need to stop dieting and start learning. Nothing is more powerful than education when it comes to making healthy food choices, that's why James has created comprehensive nutrition guides to help you. You'll learn how to control your portion sizes, how to create filling meals using nutritious ingredients, and how to monitor your calorie intake on a daily basis. When you put knowledge into practice it's up to you what you decide to eat, and you'll never need to follow another diet again.

Fantastic experience: I joined Fitness Vault a few months ago, James offers both group and personal sessions and I have used a combination of both to help improve my fitness level and noticed a difference very early on. Group session are kept to small numbers ensuring you can't hide! You are able to work to your own ability with James offering support and encouragement throughout. James is very knowledgeable, extremely motivated and a great support. There is a wide variety of sessions to chose from so no excuses not to come and train in a welcoming environment with lots of friendly faces and like minded people wanting to become more healthy individuals.

Fantastic experience: I can’t recommend James’ group sessions at Fitness Vault enough. They’re tough but in the best way and everyone works to their own ability with James on hand to advise and encourage throughout. The classes are kept to small numbers meaning you can get the support needed from James if you’re unsure on an exercise and it also means there’s nowhere to hide! The sessions are different every time and the myzone belts are great for seeing your own performance. Really enjoying the classes and feeling fitter, so glad I went!

Fantastic experience: I joined Fitness Vault a few months ago now and love attending James’s classes. I’d been looking for a new challenge and luckily a friend introduced me. Sessions are high energy, high impact and work all areas of the body. The workouts are tough but in a good way and James is a great coach, very motivational, who pushes you to train hard! I always leave a session feeling like I’ve achieved something which is great! Lots of friendly faces there and all sharing the same goal to improve their fitness levels! The studio and facilities are great too very modern and all the best equipment. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough - so give it a go you won’t look back!

Fantastic experience: Can’t rate the Fitness Vault enough . James is really engaging , motivational and full of encouragement. What ever your goal or fitness ability , James knows exactly how to push you to get the most of your workouts . If your a bit nervous about joining “a gym “ the fitness vault offers a safe , warm and welcoming environment. You won’t look back !!!!

Fantastic experience: 3 years ago I decided to take the plunge and join James's bootcamp in Bawtry. I wanted to improve my fitness and shed the pounds that had crept on after having children. It was very daunting after doing nothing fitness-wise for a number of years! My fitness did improve and I made some amazing friends but it was only when i joined Fitness Vault in September that I noticed a real change in my body shape. James gave me lots of advice on diet and nutrition and gave me a weight loss plan to follow. It has completely changed my outlook on food now. No faddy diets anymore: just real, healthy, nutritious foods that keep me fuller for longer and are so tasty. James has a wealth of knowledge and if weight loss is your goal then I'd certainly give the plan a go. That teamed up with working out at the gym 3-4 times a week has helped me lose the weight and tone up. The classes are hard work but so enjoyable. There's always fab music and a real buzz in the air. Every class is different using a mix of cardio equipment and weights all of which are of a very high quality. James is very encouraging in classes and pushes you to your limit! I am a happier, healthier person now and my confidence has rocketed. I can't recommend Fitness Vault enough!
