Fantastic experience: The environment sweat provide is really welcoming and encouraging. You get a real sense of community within the classes. The instructors are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Exceptional
Fantastic experience: As an experienced gym user, bored with the same routines, I wanted to add a different dimension to my training and so chose PT as a way to ensure that my cardiovascular fitness was tested weekly. My sessions with Luke certianly provided that! Sessions can be tailored to your experience and fitness so even if you think you know it all I would strongly recommend Sweat PT.
Fantastic experience: Sweat trainers meet people where they are: they make the extra effort to listen, connect, read the room, and see that everyone – whatever their fitness or feeling on the day – gets the most out of every session. Keep showing up and you see whole classes – and see yourself – get stronger, week on week. No mirrors means everyone can just focus on working hard, together. That kind of shared energy is a rare & wonderful thing. When a gym is run by people who are committed to their clients, clients stay committed to them. Sweat is far & away the best gym experience I've ever had. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to feel better in a whole-body way – Sweat will make it happen.
Fantastic experience: I first contacted Sweat because I had been working out for years and felt I wasn't really getting the results I wanted. Luke and the team at Sweat took the time to get to know me and build a relationship which meant not only do they know me but they also know my goals and the way that I personally can reach them and not just in a generic way. People talk about 'trusting the process' but you can only do that when you trust the people and I have complete trust in the Sweat team. Not only am I in better shape than ever but I now have the ability and confidence to make good use of the time I spend working out on my own as well. Being part of the Sweat community has benefitted me physically but also my emotional and mental health too. I would totally recommend these guys!
Fantastic experience: I went to the Boxing workshop with Ebonie and absolutely loved it! Ebonie is a great teacher who is clearly very passionate about boxing and teaching it. I will definitely be back to do another class or 2 at Sweat!

Fantastic experience: First time at the new location on Middle Street, the gym is excellent, great feel, great equipment. I went to the boxing workshop with Ebonie Jones on Friday and it was fantastic. We had a great time and learnt so much. Definitely a great workshop for getting the punches, footwork and defense knowledge for confidence going in to the boxing class Ebonie takes a few times a week. I will be going to one on Thursday and I cannot wait! Love everyone at Sweat, they are always so kind, friendly and welcoming. Best gym in Portsmouth.
Fantastic experience: Been a member here for a few months now. It's not a normal gym you can use at any time, you need to book a PT or a class. Both PT and classes are high quality, normally with a high amount of variation between sessions. Building is tucked away in a big warehouse. It's normally big enough to house everything they need, i.e. a class of 10 and maybe a PT session out back. There's a couple of toilets with showers, which are good if you're doing a session before work. I've had classes with all of the instructors and enjoyed them. My normal PT is Vlad and he's really great. Nice guy and is always knowledgeable about the exercises and is always prepared with a new exercise or stretch. Overall, it's a bit expensive but generally worth it.
Fantastic experience: So first off, I'm not much of a gym person. I wanted to be fitter and improve how I look and feel day to day. I had joined (and canceled) different gym memberships every year though a lack of motivation, not really understanding what I was doing and feeling intimidated by other gym users who did. I found Sweat Southsea was offering circuit-style classes and gave it a try. It immediately felt different to other gyms. No mirrors, no egos, a range of abilities, ages and fitness levels. So refreshing. The staff all made me feel so welcome and connected with me on a more personal level to help me understand and achieve my goals. They encourage, motivate and push you during classes but you never feel out of your depth with them. They have helped me lose weight, get fitter and feel better. I really couldn't recommend this place highly enough. THANK YOU!!
Fantastic experience: Have used Sweat Southsea for a range of fitness and strength classes plus sports massages. All services have been brilliant, friendly knowledgable and enthusiastic staff. Nice small environment, much better than a commercial gym. Would definitely recommend them
Fantastic experience: I’ve had nine months of personal training at Sweat Southsea and I cannot recommend it highly enough. I was looking for a place where the personal trainers were professional, experienced, knowledgeable and kind, and I found all of this and more at Sweat. The personal training sessions were expertly devised and delivered - Luke is amazing! I also had some sessions with Vlad which were excellent. Sweat Southsea is the perfect place to achieve your fitness and well-being goals.
Fantastic experience: I visited sweat this week for a sports massage as I had pain in my neck, shoulders and lower back. When I arrived I was greeted by Eva who was doing the massage. I was made to feel very welcome and Eva was lovely. I would definitely recommend her. Thank you :-)
Fantastic experience: Sweat is a well equipped gym with really lovely staff. There is a great range of classes for all abilities with Sweat Outdoors, Pilates and TRX Conditioning being my personal favorites. Everyone has been really welcoming since day one and I can't recommend it enough.
