We’ve added new kit and improved the existing gym space. The cycle studio has a new look and feel so you can enjoy your classes even more. A brand new functional area has been added with lots of new functional kit like a prowler track and rig.

Whether you’re a night owl or an early bird our doors are open round the clock to give you the flexibility you need to hit your targets.
PureGym Harrogate has had a brand-new face lift. We have improved this gym to provide a new and improved experience. A new functional area including a prowler track with sledges and rig has been added so you can have fun whilst working out and make progress at the same time. We have also be given the cycle studio a new look and feel so you can enjoy your classes even more! There is also a new stretch are with new mats so you can limber up before your work out.
Ever been stuck in a contract from which you can’t escape? That won’t happen when you join the UK’s leading gym operator because we don’t have contracts, just a monthly membership which you cancel whenever you like.
We may be a cheap gym but that doesn’t mean we’ve cut corners because we have more than 220 pieces of the latest kit throughout all of our 230+ gyms. As well as having a huge free weights area, we are packed with cross trainers, treadmills, steppers and rowers. And if you’re a fan of bikes but don’t love traffic and exhaust fumes, we’ve got the best indoor cycles equipped with computers to put you in the picture about your progress. If you love working out in groups or with friends we have just the thing! We have more than 50 free fitness classes available every week so if you like intense exercise try out circuits, boot camp or fat burn. At PureGym we work at different speeds to suit your needs. If you're coming by bus, we're just a three minute walk away from bus stops heading West, East and South and the Northbound services from Harrogate bus station is an eight minute walk away. Harrogate train station is five minutes away on foot.

Ground floor contains changing rooms which have always been kept in a good condition other than the occasional lack of toilet roll in the loos! Downstairs is full of weight machines as well as a wide variety of free weights and open spaces often used for group classes. My favourite gym in the local area, especially for such a good membership price

Fantastic experience: Plenty of really good quality equipment, brilliant app and some fantastic classes. James' spin classes in particular were amazing and always really hard work. The instructors in general were great! I hope PureGym knows how lucky they are to have the people they do working for them.

Fantastic experience: Nice to be back at the gym. They've done an excellent job with relocating the machines for safety. Nice to see they have supplies to wipe the kit down after you're done. Hope they keep this after all the lockdown craziness is over.

Positive experience: Not really impressed, have been to better gyms but it's open and it's a gym! I'd prefer to see myself especially when doing a deadlift - where are the mirrors? Maybe there could be more than 1 leg press or extension or a proper calve machine, more weights set out better, hopefully newer & better taken care of machinery in the future? One thing that does stand out though - the spinning area looks amazing!!
