Fantastic experience: I enjoy my Steps to Health classes. Being computer literate I can book online a week on advance. But there are many who are unable to get a place on the classes as they are always fully booked in advance, despite having paid their fee.

Fantastic experience: Local to me, more than sufficient parking , extensive activities available including pools, very large and well equipped gym especially an e-gym facility. Staff are attentive but not invasive and it is kept 100% hygienic.

Fantastic experience: It’s one of the best leisure centre, I am member of the club. This club gives you pleasure of swimming sessions and classes, boxing, karate, gym, aerobic & anaerobic classes, full of fun sports to keep you fit. Spacious free parking area. Club Timings are Mon-Fri 6:30-10:00pm sat-Sun 7:30-8:00pm. Full of supportive staff especially gym instructors, Dave is one of my favourite.

Positive experience: A fantastic leisure centre. Swimming, gym, classes from on demand virtual spin to line dancing groups. Children's play area and crèche too.

Fantastic experience: Lovely swim in the slow lane, with a quick check-in, plenty of changing cubicles and not too many others in the pool.

Positive experience: The swimming pool was crowded. Medium-speed swimmers hogging the fast lane. During swimming lessons there is no way to avoid the crowd of parents and children waiting to get in as they get mixed with those getting out. Overall, I would avoid the place if you are concerned about COVID. Other Leisure Centers have better systems in place, namely a one-way path to get in and out.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for years, I love this gym. They've gone from strength to strength over the years, the way they have handled Covid has been second to none. I've always felt safer in here than I have in a supermarket! The staff are very friendly and helpful, it has a big community vibe these days. The gym is absolutely packed with up to date equipment, in terms of value for money (unlimited gym, swim and classes) they are pretty much at the top. I was one of the people literally clawing at the doors to get back in when lockdown restrictions lifted.

Fantastic experience: Nice and clean leisure centre. The staff are helpful and there is a wide range of activities and events happening all of the time. I mainly use the gym, which has a full range of equipment to use, but the swimming pool is also good, with lanes out most of the day.

Fantastic experience: Really nice leisure centre with lots of activities/things to get involved in. Large car parking available, pool facilities, weekly football activities (charlton challenge I think?), badmington/table tennis and a gym.

Fantastic experience: Only really used the pool here so far with my toddler but we have an amazing time every week. The floor can be raised which is quite cool, and all the Life guards are so friendly and supportive

Fantastic experience: Very helpful staff at the desk, who sorted us paperwork out to allow us to take pictures inside the pool area of our daughter, a private instructor conducting a lesson inside the pool was quite abrupt and blunt when he approached us about not being allowed to take photos, however when the paperwork was shown he soon disappeared. Clean and tidy, will be going again!

Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool for kids. Very clean and well maintained. They run swimming classes for very competitive prices. You have a little snack bar from where you can observe your kids swimming.

Fantastic experience: Very good sports centre in a very accessible location - also wheelchair accessible. The facilities are very good and well kept. The staff are friendly, helpful and although we've only been once so far you can tell they are personable with visitors to the centre as we had seen them interacting with other visitors - some new like us and some regulars who had definitely been before. They treat everyone really well and are helpful wherever they need to be. Within the sports centre it's fairly well laid out and signed etc - outside could do with a bit more signage and maybe some local decorative touch as it's a bit plain but that's being picky and is only part of the review as there isn't really anything else to "pick at" so to speak!. Overall it's a fantastic centre with great facilities for what we need there and the staff were brilliant too.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the Crook Log Leisure Centre since Feb 2016, primarily to use the gym and pool, and I can honestly say that I am more than satisfied with the excellent level of customer services, cleanliness and facilities available at the centre, and in particular the invaluable personal training support and advice from Ben. I cannot fault Ben with his personal training advice and tips, to his motivation and knowledge!! Ben has challenged me well out of my comfort zones, deadlifting, squatting, box jumping to dips and pull ups, things I would never imagine myself doing, but also at the same time giving sound advice on posture, breathing techniques and nutrition. In a short space of time from being on Ben’s programme, my strength and physical transformation so far is incredible and I am still on my journey to reaching my goal!! I would definitely recommend Ben to anyone looking for a great personal trainer. Mum of 2

Fantastic experience: I've been attending this gym for 2 years and I'm so shocked at some of the negative reviews - particularly about staff attitudes. The ladies on reception are brilliant. They genuinely brighten my day when I see them. Always talkative and friendly and they remember the little details about your life which show they really care. Only today Kim asked how my wife was getting on with her preganancy. As for the gym instructors, these guys really know their stuff and make a genuine difference to people's lives. Dave Case has completely changed my eating habits and shown me how to completely ween myself off added sugar and Daryl Baker is there every day to help and advise on technique and performance. Only last week, he magically solved an ongoing problem I had been having with a shoulder injury by modifying my technique. To anyone who has any doubts, just talk to the guys, they have so much knowledge and are genuinely interested in helping you become fitter and healthier.

Fantastic experience: As a member of Crook Log gym I would say it's amazing! Great value and get a lot for it out of my money.. Free swimming. Sauna use and many different classes. One of the best gyms I've been to so far. Would definitely recommend it. Friendly people around. Overall a great place to work out! :)

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since 1997 when it was located on the other side of the road - this site is miles better. The reception staff are always helpful, courteous and friendly. If folk are unpleasant and abrasive then that's what you get back from others! My only gripe would be the ladies showers could do with updating along with the Step equipment.
