Fantastic experience: My second week with Curtis in my new program was amazing again. So helpful with all the exercises and gave his tips to make sure I was perfecting all the exercises. The staff were so nice, and they were willing to chat with you and they made sure you were welcome. Heavily recommend to anyone that wants to go to the gym.

If there was a suggested area to improve would be separate toilet and shower. Love Arc and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Well done team.

Fantastic experience: A really friendly and well equipped gym. They offer personal training sessions and classes. There is an outdoor training area with stones, tyres, yokes etc. Due to covid restrictions the gym have capped the number of people training, so a booking system is in place. Parking is available on site.

Fantastic experience: Been training for almost 2 years now and have made a lot of progress here, ARC is a very welcoming gym that has formed a great, supportive community with a wide range of knowledge across the many types of weight training. There is a solid variety of equipment and the staff are all brilliant and super helpful. Looking forward to returning after lockdown!

Fantastic experience: After suffering a traumatic brain injury I didn’t think I would ever recover in being able to go out confidently in public again. I was urged by my wife (a physiotherapist) to join and do some exercise at ARC Gym. I hesitantly agreed, and it was the friendliness of the staff and general atmosphere that filled me with joy, almost like a second family and home, which helped me (along with my great trainer at Team GG, Graham, become the most confident, fittest and strongest I have ever been in my life.

Fantastic experience: As a complete novice at the whole strength and conditioning thing I thought I'd never step foot in what I classed as a "big boys and girls gym"! But at ARC there is none of the stigma that goes with all of the strength and conditioning world... The staff are unbelievably friendly and have so much knowledge between them.. The trainers are brilliant (shout out to Beth PT :) I don't know if I'm allowed to plug her on this review but I am, because she's the first trainer I've had where Ive actually looked forward to the session. I have such a laugh with her and she's taught me so much already. She pushes me to lift and do way more than I thought I could which is awesome and incorporates things to help with my many injuries forming now I'm getting too old to play rugby :( ) I never understood why people just hung around in the gym but now I find myself just sitting at the smoothie bar for ages before going home just chatting away ( obviously pre covid) . I have no idea how they manage to fit so much kit and equipment in the place!! I dont know what alot of it is for but with their help I'm learning ha ha! (like I said I'm new) And if it's not the staff helping... Its someone else... And I don't mean in a bad way... The people who come here are always there to give you that little tip to help you along or be there as a spotter to save you getting squashed under a bar. They are encouraging and quite often I've heard people cheering others on to get that new PB! It's soooooo clean and spotless... Everything is maintained to a stupid high standard... They are constantly getting new things... Latest addition on its way... Physio room!!! I'm pretty sure this is going to be well used. I've been at all times of the day and never really had to wait to use anything... It's not all weights either... There's a cardio bit upstairs too again with top notch kit... Outside its like world's strongest man play room! With big round boulders, tyres, bars and alsorts... During all this covid mlarky they have been brilliant... When open they have all the measures in place to keep us safe.. When they have been forced to close making it a tough time for them they haven't just sat back and worried... Nope... They decided to build up and and improve the gym instead... I never stick to gyms or stick with it untill coming to ARC... Now I find myself actually missing it! Shock horror to me!! (rubbish times to find a new hobby tho) Roll on the re-opening!! :)

Fantastic experience: After 6 years of training, I know a good gym when I see one! ARC Gym is up there with one of the best I’ve ever trained in. The reason for this is because they have created a great environment that brings together various types of training equipment into one complete gym. This gym is suitable for CrossFitters, Power Lifters, Olympic Weightlifters, Body Builders as well as general gym users. Not only this, the quality of the gym equipment is incredible and second to none. For example, all of their machine equipment is manufactured in the UK and to the highest standard. The staff are also very welcoming, polite and helpful - I highly recommend this gym whatever your goal may be.

Fantastic experience: Until I used a day pass at the Arc I didn't realise how much unfulfilled my previous gym made me feel. From the variety of the equipment, the knowledge of the personal trainers and the staff to the little things like lockers which don't need coins or locks and the powerful showers that don't need to have a button pushed every 90 seconds. It's a local business and they deserve to be the biggest and best in town. So very glad I signed up!
