Positive experience: I had a taster boxing session and was not impressed at all. The group was too big and there was definitely not enough room for us all. The trainer would explain the moves and then let us get on with it. It would be better if he came around to check and perfect our technique. The coach didn’t know I was in a taster session and didn’t even come over to acknowledge or help. Definitely won’t be booking.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommended whoever you are. Very non judgemental, supportive environment especially if you're like me and need to get yourself back on track. Whatever size or ability this is the place for you. Especially recommend Joe's morning classes to kick start the day and Jerry's ladies classes (although she will kill you!)

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and instructors. My children have been attending kickboxing sessions here for over a year and always looking forward to them. There are also classes for adults and a gym which is not too busy as well. Highky recommended

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a boxing gym for my son. Due to the last two and half years of kickboxing at one of the best gyms in the UK I needed the same in boxing. After visiting a number of gyms I can say that Combat Sports Centre is No1. It’s a great friendly environment and suitable for all levels.

All the equipment you could ever need and to be able to train at your own leisure instead of having to stick to classes proved to be far more practical than other gyms in the area. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and will always go the extra mile to help you out. Would recommend

Fantastic experience: The most well-rounded gym I’ve been to. Whether it’s kickboxing, boxing, MMA, fitness or weights, the gym caters for everything you need in a gym. Caters for all ages, all abilities, all genders, open all days of the week and even has very affordable prices which caters for ALL! Not only that, the facilities are top notch, the coaches are top notch and the people in there are all top notch! No egos in the gym, always greeted with a smile, high 5 or fist pump. I highly recommend trying out all the classes and combining them with 121 training with any of the coaches as they are all specialists in what they do. This gives the full experience of training in a group environment whilst also fast-tracking by getting an hour of undivided attention. Really special gym, haven’t looked elsewhere since.

Fantastic experience: Great gym ran by great people. The most friendly and ego free martial arts gym that I have ever trained at. Great for adults and kids alike. My 8 year old daughter trains at the gym too. She’s been training for 3 and a half years and the gym and the coaches are as big a part of her life as her teachers and school. She loves the gym and trains there at least 3 times a week. The coaches don’t just teach the kids the technical skills to be a martial artist but support the children in developing life skills, respect, self-discipline, good manners and positive social interactions. Adults can use the weights, bags and cardio equipment while their kids are training, so it’s also great for time management. I’d recommend the gym to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Trained at a fair few places over the years and this place is one of the best. Pay your money then lots of options from kick boxing, boxing, hit training and yoga with a time table that suits.
