Fantastic experience: Love that it has 3 pools, a sauna and a female only gym! Always very clean and tidy and the parking is great.

Positive experience: Nice friendly staff and gym area. Changing rooms not as big as have found as other branches. Layout diffrent to other gyms also and got a bit disorientated initially entering and later leaving the pool area and locating the steam room and showers etc.

Positive experience: I had their membership / 6 months contract / and I cancelled it after. Its a nice place, but I won't pay them almost £50 p/m if they are not able to keep that place clean. Dirty lock rooms, showers, swimpools etc. Sometimes almost disgusting. This was in 2019. Can't say how is it these days.

Positive experience: Great facilities, lots of space, small ladies only gym if required, pool with sauna steam room and relaxing pool area, and children's a small pool for the kids. ladies changing rooms, modern and clean with privacy changing if preferred great for families. Superb line up of classes for all ages and abilities. Slightly over priced for what I used it for just gym workout 1 hour 3 times a week.

Fantastic experience: Amazing gym!! Lovely hydropool, swimming pools and sauna and steam rooms. Lovely children's pool with steps and slide. Great gym facilities with plenty of equipment. They have loads of classes to choose from there is something for everyone what ever ability, age or what ever your goal is they will help you to achieve it!! Great for all ages!!

Mums fitness classes coming soon too where babies and toddlers are always welcome. Fitness initiation programme for all new members to set you up to reach your goals. 3 pools, personal training and much more. Come and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed

Fantastic experience: Good gym, nice atmosphere and friendly staff. It was really easy to get signed up, and every time I forget my padlock they are happy to lend one. Changing rooms have just been refurbished and are kept very clean. Excellent exercise facilities, and good pools and saunas etc.

Fantastic experience: Such a great place to go. This Gym certainly ticks off everything on a check list...... 1) Clean and tidy....... Check 2) Friendly, helpful and approachable staff members....... Check 3) A great selection, and amount of fitness machines to use....... Check 4) Impressive swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool......... Check 5) Well maintained and extremely clean changing facilities (with ample lockers and changing cubicles).......... Check 6) Comfortable atmosphere.......... Check 7) A great little café area to meet and greet friends (or new ones), have a bite to eat or just a coffee.................... Check This list could go on and on from my own visits and impression of this Gym, what I will say though is, following my incredible disappointment with the Manchester Aquatics Centre (my review can be found on their Google page), I was amazed at the contrast between the two places. The staff at this Total Fitness are terrific. The staff member who looked after me, Rob, was very polite, helpful and understanding (once I explained that I suffer from severe mental health problems, Rob was patient, considerate and took the time to explain things in a way that made me feel at ease and relaxed. Here's a staff member who genuinely understands the meaning of 'Customer Service',...........facility management take note!) I have to say whether you are an ardent gym-goer or a casual visitor like myself, if you like the training machines to do a full-on workout, or if you just like to do an hour or so in the pool (doing a few lengths in the lanes or just casual swimming), I reckon you'll struggle to find somewhere nicer. This, of course is my own opinion, but give it a go, you never know you might even agree with me.
