Our team of personal trainers practice what we preach. We are natural team players with big ambitions. Although we come from different backgrounds, what connects us all at OnPoint is that we care about each other. Fantastic experience: I'm delighted to have discovered Onpoint Training. The sessions are always tough but the atmosphere is welcoming. The advice given by Sian and Jay on all aspects of achieving fitness is spot on and the improvements and results I'm feeling and now beginning to see are worth all the effort.

Fantastic experience: Having worked as a personal trainer in London for 3 years, I struggled to find somewhere to work that gave me everything I needed from a place to run my business. I moved several times from gym to gym trying to find a place that I was happy at. I have been working at On Point now for the last year and can safely say It is the best studio I have worked at. The people, the gym, location, atmosphere and working environment make it the exact place I was looking for. Not only am I more than happy to have my client base train there, it is a great place to spend my working day, surrounded by great people that provide a very supportive, inspirational atmosphere.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at onpoint now for about 3 and half months and have had fantastic results already. its great to be working with people who really care about there clients they are working with, and training is like being with your best friends. Fantastic experience: I have been training at Onpoint now for roughly 3 months now and as an avid gym goer before I even began training here. I can honestly say I now train harder and have gained more knowledge from it, you get to train in a friendly and comfortable environment. Both Jay and Sian will push you to be your best when training and will help you to achieve your goals no matter what they are, from diet plans to exercise routines this is the place to train.

Fantastic experience: Onpoint Training is fab! Initially, I was anxious as I have never lifted a weight in my life and as a woman I was particularly nervous however, Jay and Sian both make you feel very comfortable. The small group environment is great as everyone works to their own ability and as a team pushing each other harder. The small group training also means that we each get individual training and advice tailored to our own needs. Alongside the training Jay and Sian work with you to advise on nutrition and this has helped me enormously, it is a real plus to the training programme. Jay and Sian are always on hand to answer any questions no matter how 'stupid' they may seem. The use of email/social media means you can stay in contact as little or as much as you like with the trainers and fellow training members. Onpoint is real value for money as having a session is like having a personal training session but with a few friends around you. I feel toned, fitter and most importantly much happier with myself!

Fantastic experience: I've been looking for an exclusive personal training studio like this in Hertfordshire for ages. I'm so pleased I found out about the new Onpoint Personal Training Studio near Hertford East station. The studio is in a really handy location and is run by two of the most knowledgeable and successful Personal Trainers I've ever met. My results speak for themselves! I've only been training for a few weeks and I've lost inches and my body fat % has decreased considerably. I look forward to every training session and can't wait to show off my new slimline figure this Summer! Can't recommend this place enough!

Fantastic experience: SO, our first month of boot camp at Onpoint has to come an end and what a great month it has been, SO great we have signed up for the following month. I first met Sian at Onpoint when I signed up to the WOW - Women on Weights 2 hour course, it was such a confidence booster my partner and I then signed up for the boot camp. Jay & Sian are a great team and it is such a great environment to learn the techniques needed for weight lifting, it’s not intimidating like your local gym, Jay & Sian motivate you, correct you if you're technique isn't quite right, all the members are all friendly and encouraging, it’s a really great atmosphere at Onpoint. Even after the session has finished the motivation and advice continues on the online community. I have seen huge changes in body and at 43 I'm quietly amazed, my attitude towards healthy eating has changed and I am pushing myself harder all under the watchful eyes of Jay & Sian. Thanks guys and were both looking forward to next month’s Boot Camp at Onpoint Training. Tania & Andy

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of OnPoint for over three years... really I cannot believe it has been that long. It is such a great "gym" to be part of. I have put gym in inverted comas, because it is not a gym as you would expect it to be. It is, well, much better! We train as a team, we encourage each other, we support each other and we laugh. The trainers keep it fun and varied. If you are reading this and don't believe me, there is only one thing for it: give it a try!

Fantastic experience: Have been welcomed into the family straight away. Training is the right level of challenge with good variety week to week, and enjoying the motivation of getting into a new type of training pattern. Big fan of having a good focus on weights and strength training not just HIT training - and the guys encourage everyone equally. With small class sizes, it always feels personalised and most importantly fun (without everyone not being too serious all the time). New to the area, and 1 month into Onpoint Fitness and loving it.

Fantastic experience: I joined Onpoint after the first lockdown in July 2020 and for my mental and physical health, It was probably the best decision of 2020. Sian, Ryan and Jay are supportive, knowledgeable and more importantly, approachable. The team at Onpoint ( as in the other members) are fab too. Very welcoming and motivational. Now in lockdown 3 and Onpoint just keeps growing. Along side the Zoom classes ( very varied and can be challenging), there are the monthly recipe books, newsletters, Facebook group, video clips..... and two additional instructors, Kate and Connor. Onpoint has been my light at the end of the tunnel going into2021. I am more focused and determined to achieve my goals with them. They can't achieve your goals for you but they can certainly give you the right tools and motivation to get there.

Fantastic experience: I joined On Point a month ago with the hope to improve general fitness and build muscle. I currently attend PT sessions with Jay and the weekly team training sessions (Strength, HIIT, Warriors). I thoroughly enjoy working out at the gym and have already seen results in my performance. There is an extremely friendly atmosphere that you do not get in other gyms. Workouts are varied each week and always challenge you in the right way. The trainers will also get the very best out of you. I would 100% recommend to anyone thinking about joining a new gym!

Fantastic experience: I joined OnPoint 15 months ago it has become a big part of my life and never want to imagine life without it! OnPoint is like no other gym this place is a community where everyone supports one another from the moment you step into OnPoint there is no need to be nervous as you will be welcome with smiling faces and open arms. OnPoint has helped me physically, mentally & emotionally but most important being part of a community who encourage and support you along every step of your Onpoint journey this is what makes it a very special place. OnPoint has highly professional personal trainers who will provide PT sessions, who also teach the Team Training sessions which include Strength Training, HITT, Kickboxing & Weekend Warrior sessions with a great range of session times available. They are always on hand for any support, & are always giving great nutritional advice including recipes. OnPoint has a private members Team OnPoint Community group chat on Facebook where you can always ask any questions, share ideas, recipes etc and there is lots of social events throughout the year. Come and join the Onpoint Team you will have no regrets!

Fantastic experience: Joining OnPoint has hands down been my best move of 2018. The team at OnPoint have managed to create a gym where I feel totally comfortable and free to try new things, push myself and just generally have fun with exercise - something which I had never been able to find with the likes of Fitness First, Nuffield and so on. Training with Michelle is probably the best part of my weekday(s). I’ve learnt so much from her, have found every session interesting (and hard ) and think she is an absolute dream! Likewise, kicking off my weekend with the Saturday warrior class sets me up for a great weekend, as it just feels really good to wake up and work out with such a friendly group of people. I knew I would gain results in terms of weight loss/toning up but I was not prepared for how much of an impact training at OnPoint would have in my day to day life in terms of my confidence. A 10/10 gym - I’d recommend it to anyone!

Fantastic experience: OnPoint - just another gym right? Wrong, very wrong. Just take a look at the Facebook page or the Instagram posts and you will see that it is very much the OnPoint community. And so it is a community. I had one PT session with Jay each week from late August to November 2018. They were challenging but enjoyable sessions and over that period I made progress - losing 18lb in weight and improving my fitness. But it wasn’t enough for me. Jay suggested that I try the group sessions. I was reluctant and apprehensive at first. What egos might I encounter? Super fit people, surely I’d be made to feel uncomfortable? Nothing was further from the truth. At my first session (6am on a Friday) it was clear - I was the oldest, the fattest and most unfit of all and yes it was tough. But what I found from ALL of the others in the team was kindness, support and encouragement. There truly is a team spirit. Everyone is there for the same reason - improvement and everyone helps each other. All of the trainers care. All embrace and encourage the community spirit by sharing practical “real life” tips and advice which really help. Lately, there is more detailed advice and information with regard to nutrition and food generally. This is invaluable and such an important factor. I am so pleased to have found OnPoint. My membership of the community has been life changing for me and I would, and do, recommend it at every opportunity. I know I have a long journey ahead with regard to my health and fitness, and I know that I will make the best progress with the team of the OnPoint community.

Fantastic experience: I became an On point member about 6 months ago and it has been the best decision I have ever made. At first, I was nervous because I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had never really exercised and was scared everyone would be super fit and I wouldn’t be able to keep up and get left behind. I thought that new members found it hard to keep up at most exercise classes. But though I was right about everyone being super fit, I was wrong to feel so nervous. Everyone made me feel so welcome and I didn’t get left behind which was great! I fell in love with On point from my first session and couldn’t wait to come back for the next one! In the past, I had tried so many different gym/classes before but always felt out of place as the trainers never really put much effort in with the newbies and that was why I never went back. I can confidently say that at On point, the trainers are simply the best trainers. They are so friendly and motivate you to push yourself so you don’t get left behind. In the 6 months I have been attending On point I have lost 2 and a half stone and gone from buying size 18 jeans to size 12! I eat out at least twice a week and drink most weekends and I am still seeing amazing results. I can really see the progress I have made in such a short space of time. This is down to the great trainers and fantastic team training sessions which I do roughly 4 times a week. I have received lots of advice on nutrition and this has made me understand all aspects about food and what I eat in a totally different way. Another great achievement is that I’m not scared to get on the scales anymore. If you want to get fit and healthy and have a great time doing so then On point is the place to be!!!!

Fantastic experience: After months of 'dieting' to lose weight and not achieving the results I wanted, I took it upon myself to make a change drastically outside of my comfort zone and join a gym. After researching gyms within my area I contacted OnPoint and explained my situation. OnPoint immediately stood out to me... Having never done any exercise other than having the odd kick-about, the clear and factual information as well as the feel of team spirit posted on social media by OnPoint helped me make my decision to start my journey with them. I have been a member for almost 3 months now and although I know I have a long way to go, I am seeing great improvements in my strength and stamina week after week. From barely being able to walk after my first few sessions, I am now attending 2-4 team training sessions and 1 PT session with Ryan per week. I feel that the if I had joined a 'normal gym' I would not of been able to continue to exercise regularly. The support from all the other OnPoint members and coaches during team training is brilliant and once you've started you just don't want to let anyone down so you give it your all! During PT sessions with Ryan I have been able to push myself to limits physically and mentally that otherwise would of seemed impossible. He has helped me greatly with understanding the correct form/technique for various exercises which I can now immpliment during team training, as well as giving me a better understanding of the nutrition I require to achieve my goals. OnPoint is a brilliant gym, run and attended by a brilliant bunch of people. I'd urge anyone looking to start haveing a more healthy lifestyle to contact OnPoint today! You won't regret it!

Fantastic experience: I contacted OnPoint when I had reached rock bottom. I didn't want to go out, avoided my friends and couldn't even look in the mirror. My confidence was at an all time low. I was offered a week free trial and plucked up the courage to go for it. It was time to make a change! On my first group training class I was so so nervous and anxious because I would get out of breath just walking from my car to the house! How would I manage 1 hour of boxing? As soon as I walked in everyone was lovely introducing themselves and welcoming me. I made it through my first session and I walked out exhausted but buzzing. It felt so good to get my heart pumping again. 4 weeks in and I'm like an OnPoint addict, if that's a thing lol. It's hard to get yourself out the house at 5.50am, but the feeling when you have accomplished a class and walk out feeling set up for the day has brought me back to life. The trainners are amazing, they make you have confidence in your ability and push you to get the best out of each session. Its early days for me but I can feel a difference already both physically and mentally. I look forward to the changes ahead. Thank you Andria

Fantastic experience: I have been training with onpoint for about 8 months and I love it, the team training sessions are great fun and I look forward to them which is something I never thought I would say, Jay and Michelle are always on hand to ensure we are lifting correctly and giving advice on Nutrition etc. In my previous experience of going to gyms I have always used the cross trainer/treadmill but never ventured to the weights, now each time I go I feel like I’m making progress with what I can do. I have just done my first Nuclear race today and managed to pull myself up on all the ropes etc, I have never had upper body strength so this felt like a big achievement. I know I would not have achieved this if it wasn’t for Onpoint and all the encouragement we receive. No matter what level you are at when you start you will improve and feel like part of a community whilst you do it. Thanks guys x

Fantastic experience: To be honest, before I joined, my intention was just to try and convince myself that I should enjoy going to a gym. The reality now; I couldn’t imagine not going to OnPoint! I do 4-5 team training sessions per week; some mornings, some evenings, whatever I can fit in around work! OnPoint has helped me to gain not only physical strength, but mental strength too; Pushing through mental barriers that normally would stop me in my tracks. OnPoint can’t be compared to a normal gym, simply because it’s not normal at all. It’s fun, exciting, buzzy and most importantly everyone is so welcoming. It doesn’t matter who you are, where you come from, or what your reason is for going, you feel motivated from start to finish, and feel you’re being supported by true friends. I couldn’t recommend this place enough! If you’re ever struggling to find a starting place, this is 110% the place to go!

Fantastic experience: I’m not very good at testimonials/reviews and I don’t want to sell you guys short because I think you’re amazing! But I do want to say how much I love training with these guys, I’ve only been going to Onpoint for a few weeks but I was pretty desperate when I started! I’m not new to exercise but I had it all wrong and Onpoint have shown me this. These guys have something different and unique. Team training isn't your typical gym class it's much more personal and the support from the trainers and the other guys is amazing! The changes I’ve seen in myself not only physically, but also mentally is down to everyone at Onpoint! You put yourself out there everyday for us whether it be a tip/post in the facebook group or a push during a training session you are always there! I enjoy every session with you guys and even when I struggle with things and I feel useless, you each have pushed me and supported me in a positive way to get better and achieve at my own level (and I think I have!) I genuinely look forward to my sessions and I’m excited to see how far I can push myself in the weeks/months to come! Keep up the good work because I’m know I’m not the only one who thinks you’re amazing! THANK YOU!

Fantastic experience: Jay and the team are great at what they do. I have never felt so good and seen such results in such a short space of time. Myself and and my wife have always trained and recommend trying On point out for a few months and you will see what I'm talking about. By far the best training I have done to date. Fantastic experience: Recently joined OnPoint and so far am 100% impressed with the trainers (Jay, Sian and Michelle) but also the facilities and the structure of the group training sessions. Easy to book adhoc or via a set number of days of the week. OnPoint also provide a good community FB page which is constantly updated with hints and tips (including food ideas). I'm really excited about the coming months and the training i'll be undertaking. Highly Recommended.

Fantastic experience: I can only fit in two early morning sessions a week but I've noticed a big difference in my fitness levels. So much so that I find myself wanting to squeeze in a run at the weekends. The team training sessions provide the one2one guidance you need to learn new stuff but the community and great atmosphere that a team brings. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: Found onpoint a few months ago when searching for a team training / bootcamp type thing. Since then I've used the drop in classes, and been on the team training as well as some PT from Jay. It's been many years since I was last in the gym, but this place is ideal. With that constant encouragement there is nowhere to hide and this is a good thing. I found at a normal gym I ended up doing the same old thing and not actually progressing beyond a certain point. EVERY session we do something new, and that has to be good for a high general level of fitness. Of course, there's a few other positives - For me the 6.30am starts work really well. I understand that for others they may baulk at that! But there's evening classes too. There's also some nice clean showers too which is handy and allows you to get straight on the road afterwards. The new cafe idea which seems to be very cutting edge is also interesting, although yet to try any of the meals!

Fantastic experience: Great spacious facility with awesome trainers and by far the best atmosphere of any of the Hertford/Ware gyms. I would highly recommend trying the team training program where you train in small groups, pushing each other and working as a team. Jay's a brilliant trainer who has helped me drop 4 inches around my waste and raised my overall confidence in and outside the gym. Michelle's classes on a Saturday are great fun too, but seriously hard work at the same time! If you're umming and ahhing about joining, go and meet Jay and try a class- you won't be disappointed.

Fantastic experience: I have been training at Onpoint since late 2016. Without doubt getting in contact with Onpoint is one of the very best things I have done. I am noticeably fitter, healthier and indeed happier. I have learned so much about fitness and nutrition. All the team (Jay, Michelle and Sian) have been supportive, tolerant and clear in their advice when needed! The gym is comfortable and welcoming. I have no desire to go anywhere else - I just wish I had known about Onpoint sooner.

Fantastic experience: I've been training at Onpoint for a few months now and I have really seen a difference in my fitness and body shape. Unlike ordinary gyms, there is a real community spirit here where everyone wants to see each other do well. It's friendly and fun and welcoming, whatever your level of fitness. The team training sessions are brilliant- a great way to start or end each day. Each session is different and planned to keep you motivated and moving in the right direction towards achieving your goals. Fantastic experience: Can't recommend more highly! Personable, supportive personal trainers who make the experience of training both fun and rewarding. Jay does a brilliant job of being sensitive to my needs and goals whilst pushing me to achieve my best. I noticed the results in terms of body shape and levels of fitness really quickly and wish that I had journeyed down this path years ago! It's made a huge difference. Love both the PT sessions and the Women Only team sessions. Friendly, warm environment with trainers who are true professionals.

Fantastic experience: Rapidly approaching 50 and concerned at having not trained for more than 5 years, and carrying a little extra weight.. I live locally and decided to make the call. Jay has gently coached me through the past few months, and i am seeing the results. Fantastic experience: I started training with Jay in a bid to lose some stomach weight and generally tone up. With his help I have achieved beyond my expectation. My overall fitness and strength have improved so much in a short space of time. He is willing to share his expert knowledge and tailor your programme for what you want to achieve. Fantastic experience: Finally found a gym that I really enjoy training in! Never been a consistent gym goer but training at OnPoint has really changed how I feel about working out. The OnPoint team are always welcoming and committed to push you to achieve your own personal goals. The blend of team training and personal training makes for a great environment. It's the extra steps to getting results that the OnPoint team take that separate them anywhere else i've ever been.
