Fantastic experience: Great friendly gym. Classes are varied and well organised. Gym well equipped. Staff all friendly and knowledgeable. Love coming to this gym. Tried a few others before but never managed to stick to it. With Atom there is a great atmosphere which makes you want to work hard and achieve your goals.

Fantastic experience: I have been using ATOM since September. The gym is great, with abundance of modern equipment that will cater for all fitness types. I struggle to pick faults with this gym. Considering it's got the Wynard tag, the price is arguably very affordable and you'll be surprised at how so. The gym has a functional training area too, that doubles up at the fitness class room. Boasting everything you need for a functional training session. The only bit of kit missing is a tyre really. Only downside is the other squat racks in there. Come Monday when you want the rack there's only then one available. The staff do a wonderful job running it, phil at the helm does a great job and continuing to move the gym forward. I will always recommend ATOM.

Fantastic experience: Been going here for around 6 months and I've enjoyed it very much. Staff are kind and helpful with anything you need. Facilities are high quality and always clean. It's compact but has everything you need. Love it so far.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member since November last year. The staff is super friendly and always willing to help you to achieve your goals. They are very knowledgeable on how to treat different injuries and alternative exercises based on your needs. The facilities are spotless. Indoor cycling classes are my favourite!

Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and the personal trainer sessions are fantastic. The members consist of all age groups who are friendly and considerate to others. Fantastic experience: Have only been going to Atom for the last few months but always feel very comfortable when I do. I used to hate the idea of going to the gym but with plenty of quality equipment and warm, welcoming reception staff, workouts are made more pleasant than ever. Everyone at Atom is simply there to exercise and there's no intimidating atmosphere like I've felt in other gyms.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been a member for around one year and since I’ve retired I’ve made much more use of the gym and classes. The staff and the class instructors are all really friendly and helpful, and I never have issues with availability of equipment, but then I’m generally there at the quieter times anyway.

Fantastic experience: Atom health and fitness has been my go to gym for the last 6 month, it’s a small friendly gym that has everything you ever need from weights and machines to fitness classes and yoga. The staff and other gym members are all welcoming which makes going to the gym less of a burden and more of a pleasure. A perfect little sauna also helps to take away some of the stress from working out. Located just off the A19 towards wynyard makes it easily accessible, so leaves no excuses for not calling in after work. I have already recommended this gym to my friends and will continue to recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get fit and healthy.

Fantastic experience: Phil, Gary and the PT’s (and let’s not forget the lovely Jo on reception!) have created a gym with a fantastic, friendly atmosphere. Great variety of classes and the 1-2-1 PT sessions are great value. The PT’s are very technical and treat each client as an individual so they always get the best results. Since joining my fitness has improved immensely and I’ve lost around 8% body fat. All of the members are really friendly and the ‘gym banter’ just helps to push you that little bit harder during the sessions. Every few months they organise a team event for charity which is a great laugh and helps a good cause. It’s by far the best gym in the North East (and the best I’ve ever been to anywhere).

Fantastic experience: I've been using Atom gym for two months. The gym is gorgeous, you're always met with a smile and a genuine welcome. The classes are expertly led and despite it being a busy gym equipment is regularly available. You can add on extra personal training sessions which I would highly recommend to get the most out of your membership.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Atom gym for 2 years now and the last year I took up the membership to include Yoga. During this time I’ve lost a lot of weight and gained strength and confidence. The staff and members of the gym are so friendly, it’s a real community. The staff are great trainers, I have done PT sessions with 2 of the trainers and I attend classes with other trainers. There is a lot of variety. Atom also hosts team charity events which are great fun and cater for all abilities in addition to raising money for great charities. I would highly recommend as it has been a life enhancing fitness / health journey!
