Shapers Sutton

Fantastic experience: I've been a member since last November and I love this place! I'd been a member of a busier gym with a much less personal environment and walking home one day after finding out the class I'd wanted to attend was too full to accommodate me I was a little upset to say the least! I stumbled into shapers and enquired about their services and price range etc. When I considered that it was only a little more cost for a much more personal service I jumped at the chance to join them! I got a completely individualised work out routine to suit my abilities which they reassess every couple of months or when I ask them to, whichever comes first. They call me if they don't see me for a while, say hello when they bump into me on the High Street and every time I enter through the doors someone is waiting with a genuine smile for me to ask me how my day was and what I've been up to. To make it all more personal they call me by my name. To top it off, I'm allowed to take my daughter with me whose 9. She sits in the waiting area with the puzzle books available and has a free hot chocolate. If the staff aren't busy with clients they often sit and entertain her with conversation and compliments. I can't put into words what a friendly group of people work there! They create group conversations in the circuit area so you often don't even notice your working out while your amongst such a fun atmosphere. The circuit itself is great for me. With the personal work out plan written down for me I set my seat in the correct position and simply press a button to change the weights then when the buzzer goes I repeat reps for 3 minutes until the next beep. I quite often have the chance to stay on a piece of equipment for 6 straight minutes if it's one I like to do both exercises on. I often use the treadmill and haven't ever had to wait to use one yet. My favourite part of the exercising now though is the very end......using the stretch machine! Being someone who often took stretching for granted because it just looked like more hard work! I now LOVE stretching! I feel all my muscles ease and my back has never felt in such condition. I've participated in many classes and thoroughly enjoyed them especially the boxing, palates, flexibility, zumba, abs blast and body blast. There is a slight fee for a couple of the classes but 1) you book ahead and you make sure you go, no excuses! 2) it's worth it they are great fun and you know you will be let in the class! They also run special days like pamper weekends where little treats were available all weekend from having your lash extensions done to hypnotherapy! Specialist non invasive liposuction treatments, body wraps and much more which often have package offers at reasonable prices....I've got some lipo booked in and a body wrap treatment planned for September! I also joined in on the first slim it club offered as a FREE service! They didn't give you a calorie count allowance or point system to measure your food with they simply set us weekly tasks to introduce new habits like drinking more water, trying seeds and nuts as part of a balanced diet etc. promoting nutritional values over calorie control. I lost half a stone in the 6 week course so it worked combined with the personalised training regime! To top off, all the little touches to make you feel unique, from the personal training & encouragement, friendly and polite staff and clients, the recorded measurements of all your statistics, the stars on the walls containing everyone's achievements to the female only aspect and not having to compete with body building fanatics for equipment! What more can anyone want for a gym at such an affordable cost? I couldn't be happier with the service I receive from Shapers and I'm very grateful for the staff and all they do to push me in the right direction to achieve my goals. Fantastic experience: Shapers is a great gym! Everything is very personalised to what suits you best. I would recommend this gym to anyone that is looking to tone up and lose weight. I have toned up a lot since coming to Shapers, and love coming here because everyone is so friendly. My trainer Robynne is amazing and always makes sure she is pushing me to my limits!

Fantastic experience: Brilliant gym, very friendly staff that are always there with a smile and a warm welcome. Atmosphere is relaxed despite being a gym! Staff always motivate you and take an active interest in helping you to reach your goals, with regular reviews to see how you are progressing and to change your training programme. So glad I swapped from a big, impersonal gym to this one!

Fantastic experience: I have been very body concious for a long time and I needed to go somewhere with a great reputation and friendly staff. I found it here at Shapers! I was truly blown away by the sheer level of care and support that was given to me. They helped me through my weight loss journey and I have lost a lot of weight from it. I can't thank the staff enough for their warm and friendly service. I hope they stay this way for a very long time!

Fantastic experience: I love Shapers! It is such a friendly, welcoming and motivating environment that really encourages you to work out. As it's a ladies-only gym there's plenty of movement around the circuit, so you're not often held up waiting for use a particular piece of equipment for long (like in other gyms I have been to in the past). The reassessments are particularly helpful as they give you the opportunity to have a one-on-one feedback session with an instructor, who analyses your personal fitness programme and the results you've achieved. It gives you the chance to highlight particular concerns with your fitness and health, as well as set yourself new targets on a regular basis. I've been a member at other gyms before and have never came across this free, personalised service. If you're looking for a friendly atmosphere at a reasonable price, look no further than Shapers!

Fantastic experience: I love Shapers Sutton as it is an all ladies gym. I don't feel embarrassed or self conscience about going. All the instructors are lovely and very supportive and helpful. I would definitely recommend Shapers to any ladies who have ever wanted to join a gym but have been put off in the past.

Fantastic experience: All ages, shapes and sizes and all made to feel welcome and kept motivated by the staff who are always there with a smile and words of encouragement. The staff are great and nothing is ever too much bother for them, there is always someone on hand to help out and give you advice but more importantly make you laugh and make your workout fun. I've tried joining exercise classes and gyms in the past but always given up as never felt comfortable but from day one you are made to feel really welcome. Join - you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Shapers Sutton in the past, however due to a number of health issues I wasn't very pro active in attending. I returned to Shapers in Jan 2019 and it was a totally different experience. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they continually motivate you. Shapers Sutton might not be the most modern gym, but it is definitely the most friendly and the staff are always available to assist if required. I especially like the fact it is a ladies only gym.

Fantastic experience: It's quite a basic gym, no frills but that is outweighed by the lovely manager and staff who are so friendly, helpful, hard working and really care about you and your progress and achievements. You don't feel intimated by loads of ultra fit people like at some other gyms. It's full of real women who are majority friendly and encouraging. I highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience: I am a new member at shapers sutton, and the members of staff here are absolutely amazing!!! They are very helpful and friendly.. The Manager insures the gym is well run and is always available to answer any questions I have. The gym is always clean and tidy and well equipped, I enjoy doing my workouts and my 1-2-1 sessions which are included in my membership. The classes are absolutely fantastic! For any lady lookin for a gym shapers Sutton is the place to go!

I finally had the courage to go to Shapers gym because I was always scared of gyms.The manager and staff are AMAZING. You always get greeted and they know everybody's name.I have lost 1 stone and 8 pounds since with Shapers and it has stayed off. Don't hesitate joining Shapers you won't regret it.

Fantastic experience: Been to so many gyms but Shapers Sutton ladies gym is the best place to be. They are so nice and friendly. The encouragement the staff gives is so amazing. I've lost weight and I now have a nice physique. My social life is much better now because I can wear nice clothes without feeling uncomfortable and am back in shape. All thanks to Shapers Sutton.

Fantastic experience: Excellent gym for Ladies. Staff are really friendly and very helpful. Staff give you really good advise. I am finally enjoying going to the gym and using all the machines, I have been a member of loads of other gyms but I have never used the machines as I never felt comfortable with some of men making stupid noises whilst lifting weights. I also find as I am enjoying Shapers gym I am not forcing myself to go and actually look forward to going. Everyone is so friendly. I would highly recommend Shapers to anyone who is thinking of joining a gym.

Fantastic experience: Shapers is a lovely gym where the staff are lovely and dedicated to helping you improve your health. Included in the price are free one on one's, free nutrition advice and free classes. I really like coming here because I feel more comfortable being surrounded by like-minded ladies, so I feel more motivated to work. Overall i would recommend this gym to any woman :)

Fantastic experience: I was in other one before, bit bigger and different,but the staff there was so rough and non helpfully, spatially when they see, you have some extra pounds on, and start joking on your back. I was so shame of my body and there's jokes us I stop going there .At Shapers is different and I love to spend my time there All the staff are friendly and smiley , I like there dance fit classes and I love the way they work I was so boring to go to gym, but this lady's help me a lot with my motivation. I visit it 5 days a week, I have my own program and I even loose 5 kilograms for less them a month I want to say big Thank you for all of you , and i am so glad i join and meet you
