Fantastic experience: I mix between the Batley JD gym and Huddersfield JD Gym. I feel both gyms are very good but the Batley gym is superior due to the little things. For example, it is always clean. Robert, the cleaner, does not stop; he is always working and is very approachable and happy to help. If you go in on an evening, you know he will be working his socks off but will greet you with a friendly smile and a hello. Parking is excellent, i have never failed to get a spot or had any parking fines, unlike the Huddersfield JD gym. Equipment is spot on, it has everything you need for a good workout. The barbells are a little stiff when trying Olympic lifts but that is expected. The Sauna is large, and shower rooms are large, allowing for more personal space and allowing you to get some cold/hot immersion. Overall, a friendly gym with good equipment and friendly staff.

Positive experience: They should make this gym 24 hours as it is one of the best gyms local and a-lot of people would benefit from a 24 hour gym as there isn't any local that is 24 hour

Positive experience: Decent selection of equipment gets busy. Cardio equipment gives summarise of work outs. Only downside is toilets are all upstairs so if your mid work out on the far side you've got quite a time out, also the male members can hog the free weights section. Gym etiquette could definitely be better.

Positive experience: Standard JD gym, good equipment and clean facilities. Just very busy at all times and it gets very hot in there with no sign of air con being turned on.

New pricing offer for 12 months membership makes it worthwhile, I've just signed my second annual membership. Can be a little crowded when busy but which gym isn't during peak times. Not to mention, the sauna is great for winding down after a long week or tough session

Fantastic experience: Best gym I've ever been to, the staff are amazing. It's such a welcoming environment, VERY clean. Plenty of locker space and really big changing rooms. Steam Room and Sauna, plenty of showers, kept very clean and nice. The gym itself has every machine going. And lots of them. I will say if you are self conscious I'd advise looking online to see the peak times as when it's busy it's REALLY busy. If you like that then it's a fantastic environment!

Fantastic experience: Hard to say anything negative, price is great for what you get. Has a gym sauna too which relaxes your body after a good workout. Staff always ready to help and cleaners always around keeping the area spotless. Machines and weights usually always accessible.

Fantastic experience: A well designed gym, plenty of room to move and doesn't feel cramped. Staff don't pester you to sign up to anything and you can just get on with what you need to do. Equipment is new and well looked after and the place is clean and tidy. Always worth signing up for their news letter on email and you drop offers quite often with discounts etc.

Fantastic experience: I have been here for over a month now, one of the best gyms I have been to all classes are included in the price, I really enjoy the atmosphere there's something for everyone.

Fantastic experience: Simply the best gym around Dewsbury/Batley areas. Makes other gyms look like a scrapyard. This gym is a new £2 million gym with state of the art machines. You will find most of the machines here, although I have noticed there are a few critical ones missing such as the abs toner. Has huge free car park. The best thing about being a member is the huge number of free classes you can access, with so many different times, you’ll always find a class to suit your needs. Gyms instructors are helpful and friendly. Changing rooms are decent with a free to use sauna. Lockers are available too but you have to bring your own padlock or purchase one from the vending machine on site. Price is excellent. Only £20 a month for 6 month. Can also freeze memberships for minimum of 2 months. Spinning classes are very popular and can get busy. Booking system for classes is easy to use.
