Fantastic experience: Myself and my partner have been using the gym for Personal Training sessions with Tom Donaldson for the last 6 months. Tom has been brilliant, he is able to tailor each session specifically for us both according to our different strengths and any injuries we have had. I had never lifted weights before & I am now the strongest I have ever been since I injured my shoulder 2 years ago. Tom knows exactly what to do for each muscle group in order to balance each session including the cool down and stretches. We would definitely recommend Tom to anyone who wants to build their strength, is unsure about what they should be doing in the gym and to anyone who wants to refresh their training sessions.

Fantastic experience: I have been using Tom Donaldson as my personal trainer for about the last year. He has been great at keeping me motivated by providing me with clear work out sessions and coaching throughout. During out initial conversation I explained my goals to Tom and he tailored a workout plan to my requirements and has adapted these for me as we have gone along. Tom is friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He is very clearly focused on improving his clients performance with a personal touch. I continue to use Tom and I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a excellent personal trainer.

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of this gym from opening day and it’s definitely the best gym I have been a member of , I’ve had the pleasure of working with one of the gyms PTs; Tom Donaldson for the past year and it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made, Tom has shared so much knowledge with me and given me way more confidence in the gym than I could of ever imagined when I started out , not to mention helped me loose almost 2 stone while still enjoying my current life style !! - I would 100% recommend

Fantastic experience: Smashing pool.My 3 grandchildren are learning to swim so well here.Great teachers.Nice little café and they can bring their own snacks after their lessons and a nice cup of coffee for Mum and Grandmiaow!Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: The service and facilities at this brand new centre are absolutely amazing. Frequently use the gym, pool, cafe, and climbing walls. I used a Personal Trainer at the gym - Tom Donaldson - to help me get back into a routine, with a clear plan. Tom was brilliant. Very calm, listened to me, encouraging, and gave clear instructions. I've got an old back problem, so needed someone who would take care of me! I had 3 sessions - after each session he sent me a written plan which I was then able to follow on each visit. He was always happy to answer any questions I had later when I was in the gym and wanted to check on correct form.

Fantastic experience: This place is fantastic. I know I leave a lot of 5 star reviews but boy heck this place earned it. Lots of parking - free for 3 hours if you enter your reg at reception (got a little screen). It's clean, spacious and light. Very welcoming and warm. The swimming pool is fab! Loads of lockers, showers, toilets, cubicles, hairdryers etc. The lockers need a pound coin (or trolley token) which you get back. The children pool has a water splash park right next to it. I was there with 3 children and I think I enjoyed it more than them!! Finally, the café does loads of gluten free options, the food and drinks (particularly the smoothies) are delicious and the staff are super friendly. 6 stars!

Fantastic experience: Brand new facility with ple ty of options to choose from. Parking is free for 3 hours if visiting the sports centre for any paid activities. It's near to city centre.

Fantastic experience: A brilliant new addition to Winchester! An expansive, well equipped gym, climbing wall, badminton and squash courts and an amazing swimming set up! 50 metre pool, a learner pool and a kids splash area! A must visit! Highly recommended (and the coffee shop is v good too!!)

Fantastic experience: Fantastic place for little ones. A nice warm and very large children's pool with a splash pad too with lots of different fountains and water features. My 2.5 year old had a blast. The changing facilities were immaculate and also had very large family changing cubicles too. Very impressed and have booked to go again. My mother in law took my son last week and said the cafe was rubbish and quite expensive but the pool/changing facilities are great.

Fantastic experience: A really nice sports centre. The pool is very nice and modern and can 2 X 25m or configured for 50m racing. Very bright and airy/light inside. Great facilities and flash bathrooms.

Fantastic experience: Take my one year old son here to use the learner pool. Has a splash pad area to play in as well which he loves. Never been too overcrowded when I've been either. Changing facilities are good and a nice seating area as you walk in for eating afterwards (has high chairs). Only downside is they don't have child seats in the family changing rooms so hard to put my baby down whilst I get changed.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic swimming pool!!! The rest is as usual, but has a shine of new things, very pleasant. Changing cubicles and showers done on a very low budget. I almost can see how they will be looking in 5-10 years. Lockers are tiny - be aware of big bags, I struggled pushing my into it. All in all - lovely.

Fantastic experience: I attend this the leisure park at least x4 a week and love the variety it offers. Clean, state of the art facilities with something for everyone! The pool is the highlight for me especially when fully open to it’s 50m length. I recommend the cafe also, which has very friendly staff and a great selection of healthy food! A lovely place to be overall!

Fantastic experience: Just took my little boy for his first ever swim. Nice warm welcome at reception, simple guidelines to follow, excellent facilities. Very intrigued to see what the rest of the centre is like

Fantastic experience: The new leisure centre is brilliant! I can only speak about the pool as I don't used the gym or classes, but it's so clean and fresh. The layout really works too. I've been swimming there regularly for a few months now and I can't complain. Also seems really reasonably priced. The cafe is great! Lots of options and some really creative plant based choices. The coffee is delicious. Booking app could be a bit easier to use for swimming bookings. My only niggle (which isn't actually with the centre itself) is that despite the signs on the way into the 'changing village' (lol!) people don't take their shoes off.

Fantastic experience: Gym is massive and not too busy. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Great you get free parking with your membership. The barriers inside the building can be very temperamental if you have a physical membership card but if you use the app I have had no problems.

Fantastic experience: Good size learning pool with a splash pad area perfect for littles we went with 5 adults 4 children age 11 4 3 and nearly 2 for a family treat great fun had by all Clean changing area plenty of changing rooms lockers It's nice that you have to book and that there was only so many people in pool so it wasn't over crowded Would definitely go again

Fantastic experience: Incredible brand new leisure centre and sports complex with multi use facilities. There are many pools, courts and a climbing centre located in the leisure centre. Also, a stadium is located round the back. Amazing state-of-the-art facilities and the best in the region.

Fantastic experience: New, large, modern leisure centre near the motorway. Website allows bookings to save calling/emailing. Card provided allows access to the courts without the need to go to reception on arrival. Shame the parking isn't free.

Fantastic experience: Loved it great day my Girlfriend's second 10km. Would like to say great job to the stewards and staff at river park for the parking toilets and keeping people safe i no there where alot of angry motorists but that fid not spoil the fun and laughs and memories we had and made. 5 star from me. Beautiful river views.

Fantastic experience: Been here the last 3 days for a shower/swim as travelling in a camper. Clean and tidy, helpful staff (thanks Sarah) got smoothies and WiFi upstairs, a good local leisure centre.

Fantastic experience: Loving all the classes and the instructors are amazing without exception! Challenging but always motivating and able to put a smile on everyone's face. At the end of the day exercising should be fun and you're definitely not missing out on that in the classes :)

Fantastic experience: Excellent adults swimming improver lessons. Teaching a senior breast stroke swimmer to do the front crawl for the first time is not easy. Instructor Jan Dunne has done a great job. Always encouraging, helpful and patient.

Fantastic experience: Best gym staff ever. They talk to you about your activity and help customers use correct techniques, weights, stretching etc. This is the only gym where I have progressed, lost weight and felt fitter & healthier. In summary it does what it says on the tin that most other gyms can't be bothered to do. The equipment is kept clean too.
