Fantastic experience: Regular visitor to this hotel. Always a great experience.

Fantastic experience: Lovely hotel. Our room was bigger than average with a nice modern bathroom. Good breakfast and dinner was very nice.

Fantastic experience: Due to get married here in November so didn't actually stay yet, had a look round and the place is absolutely beautiful. Felicity, the Wedding Co-ordinator is so helpful and such a lovely person. Will update in November.

Fantastic experience: Stayed here whilst on a Scottish mini-tour. I chose it due to the location & pool. We paid extra for an executive room, which was a really decent size & had a large bathroom - the only negative was a lack of a view & dirty windows inside & out. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant as there was only one basic veggie dish on offer - we walked across to Ayr India instead. The pool was small but pretty good all the same & the gym attendant was really friendly Our veggie breakfast was very tasty & our waiter was just the best. I'd probably stay here again if visiting Ayr.

Fantastic experience: This hotel is lovely and well situated on the front. Service very good and staff friendly. Although the room was lovely it sat above the indoor pool and the noise throughout the night made it really hard to get any sleep but would stay again but not in this room.

Fantastic experience: Large clean rooms only complaint was my bedroom window view.a large over grown hedge.Breakfast first class and had dinner one night which was excellent

Fantastic experience: Very posh. Wonderful swimming pool, it's also the local club pool. Not busy so we were able to enjoy. Hot tub was grest

Fantastic experience: Took a group for there Christmas break arriving on the 23rd and leaving on the 27th. This hotel is amazing from the food which was just fantastic to there dedicated staff and attentive service throughout our stay. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and homely, the house keeping staff made sure that the rooms were kept to a high standard at all times and nothing was ever to much trouble for them. If you want a hotel that ticks all the boxes then you will not go wrong here. From the location 5 minutes from the sea to a 10 minute walk to the town. Well done to everyone at the hotel you are a true credit to your profession and you have set a high standard which others should take note

Fantastic experience: I can't say enough good things about this hotel and the amazing staff who work there! They hosted our whole wedding group for a long weekend, and everything was perfect. The staff helped make everything magical and went above and beyond. This was another wedding pushed back by COVID, and they worked with us to find new dates that would work for all. The rooms have all been updated, the food is delicious, and our event went off with a hitch. Truly grateful for the experience they provided, and looking forward to go back in the years to come to celebrate anniversaries, etc. Thank you to Mark, Ryan, Felicity, Hassan, and everyone else there for making us all feel welcome and cared for!

Fantastic experience: Had a lovely overnight with my wife at the Fairfield house hotel.fabulous evening meal and excellent breakfast. We will both look forward to a return visit to this hotel very soon.loved it and recommend that you give it a try

Fantastic experience: Have been on several occasions and have no complaints but the room the last time we stayed was very disappointing... Window view was a brick wall with an air conditioning unit installed on it and very very noisy. Told manager and was assured won't ever be in that room again.

Fantastic experience: We got married here last week. From the very start the staff were absolutely amazing-nothing was too much trouble. The rooms we saw were just stunning, and of course the location is perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to say I do.

Fantastic experience: Lovely quiet room, great views, nice helpful friendly staff, pool guy was so helpful, the lovely ladies welcoming you at breakfast and funny Australian waiter all made our stay enjoyable, food was excellent, facilities great to relax after a long walk on the coast. The maintenance guy gave us so much useful information, the shower was amazing, we would definitely recommend this hotel. Just one point....please include recycling bin, I felt so guilty putting plastic shower containers in the bin.

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to all the staff at the Fairfield for making our Pops 70th birthday a fantastic stay. The rooms were lovely. The food outstanding with no complaints from any of our bunch, which is a rare thing indeed LOL! Staff are friendly and couldn't have been more accommodating. A swim in the pool in the morning to square everyone up rounded the whole weekend up to just perfect. A special thanks to Hassen for his help with all the organising. We're already trying to coordinate our next stay :)

Fantastic experience: Excellent location for beach access and shopping in Ayr. Room was a suite: spacious, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We ate in the restaurant which had lovely food choices that were tasty and well presented. Lovely stay.

Fantastic experience: Booked a deal through 5pm, we were upgraded to a suite on arrival. Can't fault the leisure facilties, rooms or the food, the staff are great and I would highly recommend and will be back with or without a deal.

Fantastic experience: Just got back from an overnight at this hotel. This was our first visit and it wont be our last,the hotel is spotlessly clean the food was outstanding and the staff were just lovely and could not do enough for you. We loved every minute of our stay.thank you all so much. X

Fantastic experience: Staff are very pleasant and welcoming, delicious food in Martin's Bar & Grill, breakfast was well worth the money and plenty to choose from. Leisure suite is well maintained and pool not overcrowded, rooms spotless and good size even for a standard. Cannot fault this place and will definitely be back!

Fantastic experience: Staff are very helpful. The food is absolutely excellent. We upgraded our room for a sea view. It was huge! Very clean. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We loved our stay and will definitely be back. I think we've found our hotel to get away from it all.

Fantastic experience: What a wonderful stay. The staff are delightful and nothing is a bother. The food was delicious. The rooms are meticulous and very clean. Situated near the beach so also had a lovely walk in 5he morning after breakfast. Sampled the spa too

Fantastic experience: Staff were mostly very helpful, warm and friendly. Room and bathroom were very big in a traditional building, though TV was too low to watch from bed. Dinner was delicious. Staropramen beer was fresh but didn't seem as nice when they ran out of Staropramen glasses amongst the few drinkers. Lovely location, less than half mile to the town and beech in other direction.

Fantastic experience: Had such a great stay. Staff were all so lovely and made me feel genuinely welcome. Vegan options on both the dinner (alcohol free beer too) and breakfast menu, which made my stay all the more comfortable. Brilliant from start to finish.

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff here. Food was fantastic. Rooms were lovely and warm and of a spacious size. Spa was lovely. Pool was great. Mattress was spring .. hard spring. That was uncomfortable to be honest.

Fantastic experience: Have just been away for a couple of days in a party of 6 & stayed @ the Fairfield. All rooms were spacious & very adequately furnished. Showers were excellent. Meals were lovely. All staff were very helpful & obliging. Some of our party used the pool & that was much appreciated too. Will certainly be returning.

Fantastic experience: The room was gorgeous, the views were wonderful with a sunset to knock your socks off. The room was very clean and well equipped. We had dinner served in the main reseraunt, 5 out of 5.. ..the ravioli was divine as was the chicken which melted in your mouth and the almafi lemon tart was delicious. The staff were helpful and attentive without being intrusive. If we could give more than 5 we gladly would. Charlotte was very professional and gave us all the necessary information we needed to make our stay comfortable and safe, whilst remaining warm and welcoming.

Fantastic experience: The Fairfield House Hotel is excellent and has the most amazing staff. Our little one was treated like a king, Molly one of the house keepers always engaged him and he loved it. The food was excellent as was the the company as all the guest were fantastic also. I'd highly recommend this place.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic central location, excellent COVID measures, comfortable large room and en-suite, friendly staff and fab breakfast. Had one issue which I raised on my return home, which was dealt with promptly and effectively. Would recommend this hotel, and will return.

Fantastic experience: The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. The location is fantastic with view of sea and the most incredible sunsets. The food is quality and affordable. Would definitely visit again, especially as the Scottish school terms are different to England thus being out of season and not too busy. Ayr beach is stunning and clean. Town is 10min walk and has plenty of restaurants nearby if don't want to stay in hotel. Hotel has a clean pool, gym and sauna and steam room facilities. Very happy with our stay and kids (10 and 6) loved it too.

Fantastic experience: Got a huge room overlooking the sea. Super clean. Great bathroom. Breakfast was also very good. For the price I paid, I thought it was great value and I would definitely stay here again. Only minor niggle is the size of the portions in the restaurant if you decide to take dinner there. In my view there are a bit small, although the service was very good.

Fantastic experience: Excellent hotel. We stayed here for four nights and had a brilliant time. The rooms are spacious, modern and spotlessly clean. All the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Carol who supervises the restaurant at breakfast is fantastic. Thank you to everyone at the Fairfield.
