Fantastic experience: After a 9 year relationship came to an end for me in August 2021, I was in a very bad place mentally n perhaps physically. After not stepping foot in a gym for probably 7 or 8 years, a good friend suggested that I join PUREGYM CARDIFF CENTRAL, to help keep me occupied around my work hours. Honestly, the way it's helped me the last 9 months has been immense. It's helped me with my mental health AND physically because of the endorphins that are created in you, during the work out. It sounds a cliché buy it's honestly true and I've heard others say similar. My friend added me as his plus one back in September last year, but I enjoyed it so much, that within a week or 2, I decided to sign up as a fully fledged member. I went religiously during September - November 2021, but as I work in retail in Cardiff City Centre, at Christmas, that took over and I was too shattered to go to the gym for a couple of months. I started back around February - March 2022, with my friend and others, and now go on average about 3 times a week, around my work. I prefer to go with friends but occasionally by myself. I definitely recommend PUREGYM on many levels, and you never feel lonely there, either and it's a great way of escapism! Thank you PUREGYM :-) x ️‍

Fantastic experience: Update: they finally fixed them! The chance of this gym fixing the power pressure of the toilet taps in the men's toilet are equivalent to Tottenham winning a trophy. Otherwise perfect gym.

Fantastic experience: Covid-safe, always clean and tidy. Busy at peak times, as to be expected, so prefer going after 9pm when it's quiet and lots of machines free

Fantastic experience: The classes in this gym are all excellent but the new KETTLEBELL CLASS is just FANTASTIC!!! Honestly it is the best thing to happen to the puregym classes and I've been doing them for years. Long may it continue! It's a genius idea and I am already feeling the benefits physically and mentally!

Positive experience: The range and quality of the equipment is absolutely fine. My gripe is with the state of the men's changing room. It's absolutely filthy! I think this is a combination of shoddy cleaning and poor hygiene of gym-goers. Also, the public lockers need to be repaired or replaced half of them don't even work!

Great price £19.99 The staff I've spoken too have been helpful and friendly. Very approachable. The place is clean and spotless. The staff work hard to keep it clean and tidy. The gym could do with some 0.5k and 1k weights. Some extra 20k and 25k would be great, also as you sometimes have to walk around the gym to get them, and it ruins your workout. I would also love it, if they could get a pullover machine. I've only been a member for a couple of weeks, after leaving another gym in Cardiff to join this one. I'm enjoying my time at pure gym. It's a lot friendlier and has a better atmosphere than my last gym. Staff are a lot more helpful and friendlier, also.

Fantastic experience: Great concept and place. PureGym is truly pure gym as the name implies. 24 hours gym, with everything you need. What's more, their free classes and booking system is second to none. What's more impressive, during the lockdown, they provided free at-home training and exercise videos on their app to both members and non-members. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Good place to train but tends to be busy from about 2 pm onwards till around 9 pm. Also You need to be at least 16 to sign up but there's no maximum age limit - Everybody Welcome!

Fantastic experience: Visiting the UK from Sydney and needed a gym to keep my routine going. Very glad I found PureGym as everything about the two gyms I went to was awesome. Value-for-money day passes, easy and tech-heaven booking and entry, spacious but not crowded, plenty and a variety of quality equipment, and clean and hygienic locker rooms. Wish you guys would open up in Australia! :)

Recently I've been going during its busy times because of a change in work schedule and I was worried that I wouldn't be able to get on the apparatus I wanted. But I was surprised because even when it's packed you can always find something to use. And even if there is someone on the specific apparatus I want just simple question of how long will you be is fine because your never waiting more than 10 mins in which you can spend doing some squat thrusts. I'd recommend this gym to everyone.

Fantastic experience: Can be very busy at times which makes you hard to make the use of the machines, most of the time you have to wait until someone is finished with their set!, plenty of the equipment to choose from, £18 pound a month! Can't go wrong! Classes are also very good! Highly recommend it!
