Fantastic experience: Brilliant coaches and community of Cross fitters it does not matter your age or gender whether sports in any form has or not been part of your life there's a spot waiting for you! What are you waiting for? Come and see for yourself...its now a part of my life at 63yrs old!!!

Fantastic experience: I have only been a member of Aphobos for a short time but have seen a huge difference in my fitness and strength! What makes this place super special is the group of coaches who genuinely believe in you and push you to be the best version of yourself. They give cues and words of encouragement when you least expect it but most need it. In addition, the community is fab! Having trained by myself for the last couple of years, being with a group of like minded people who are supportive, friendly and welcoming is amazing. The box itself is incredible and the programming keeps me on my toes! I genuinely look forward to every class and leave every class energised (and usually very sweaty!) For anyone thinking of joining, my advice would be just do it. Like many, I really wish I had started sooner!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed a four-week training cycle with the team at Aphobos, Bromley. My goals were to lose weight, stem middle aged complacency, improve my all-round fitness, enhance my limited lifting and gymnastic skillset and reignite my passion for CrossFit. Located close to central Bromley the venue is easily reachable by public transport and offers off street car and cycle parking. A modern ‘box’ that is secure, spacious and well designed; I have not visited a venue so well laid out. Daily workouts are published in advance via an Aphobos App and each and every class starts at the whiteboard with a coach led briefing where the class workout(s) is/are explained. Hopes, fears, challenges, injuries, expectations and outcomes are all briefed and discussed. The spec of the equipment available to all members is of the highest quality, the Aphobos box is extremely well resourced. The Coaches: I did not meet Gemma but a big thanks to Danny, Emma, Scott and Alex, also to George who will be an asset to the team in years to come. What a team!!! Diversity in skillset, experience, qualification and know how. All coaches are ‘can-do’ and display empathy with a good sense of humour, they demonstrate understanding and address individual needs and goals. The Coaching: Personal training needs are addressed, there is ‘no one cap fits all’ mentality here. The classes are truly diverse and workouts are adapted by the coaches to cater for any injuries, differing skillsets and abilities; yet the classes are always challenging. There is a bias towards not running before you can walk, safety and injury avoidance. This is particularly evident in terms of weightlifting where starters are taught and accredited with basic and intermediate lifting skills, before those members are allowed to lift in class. I was particularly impressed with the constant prompts, advice, and practical demonstration from the coaches; they are always on-hand or ‘in your ear’ with encouragement and advice; often when you least expect it and most need it. Inclusivity is evident at Aphobos, ‘everyone’ is coached, irrespective of ability or skillset. The Aphobos members: What a friendly and diverse community, real good people. I enjoyed the one-team ethic and especially the unified encouragement displayed by class members, who having completed their programmed workouts, supported those that were ‘still going’ and yet to finish (normally me). I am looking forward to when I can next train there, a big thanks to everyone involved. In terms of a summary and in comparison to other boxes that I have attended, I really cannot fault Aphobos. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Aphobos to anyone who might be looking for a lifestyle change or a new start in terms of complementing or enhancing physical and personal fitness. So… what of the goals I set myself? I finished week four just under 4 kilos lighter than week 1. My overall fitness improved. My skillset needs a lot of work but I have improved, I have a long (long) way to go in all areas. My passion for CrossFit, and all-round fitness has been reignited. The ‘pause’ button has been replaced by the ‘play’ button. Thanks again to everyone concerned. Rich.

Fantastic experience: Loved it when I joined and I still love it now! The whole team and community are amazing. I have learned so much and Gemma's programming and all the coaches teaching standards are so high. You can definitely see the progress. I have also fallen in love with Olympic Weightlifting, Danny is such a great supportive coach and always makes it fun! Would definitely recommend this inspirational box/gym!

Fantastic experience: I started training at Aphobos 10 months ago and what a great decision this was! Previously to joining, I didn’t use to do any weight training at all, so I was a little nervous when joining. However, the great team of coaches at Aphobos really helped me build my confidence in the box and I can definitely see and feel an improvement in my physical body as well as my confidence around weights. Moreover, other members are always welcoming and the atmosphere while training is always buzzing !!

Fantastic experience: I joined Aphobos October 2021. Before this I had ran a number of marathons and middle distance triathlons, but had never really done any weight training. What Gemma, Danny and all the team have created at Aphobos is very special. It’s a great environment to train with people of all ages, ability, shapes and sizes training together and encouraging each other. The training is really varied and fun and the coaches are experts in getting you moving safely and effectively. I have always had a number of persistent mobility issues and back pain; since joining Aphobos the coaches have all taken time to help me improve my mobility (including a one on one assessment) and tailoring workouts to allow me to get the most out of the session whilst being mindful of any tightness or restrictive movement. They’ve also introduced me to and worked alongside a great chiropractor to make sure they are fully aware of any issues. I couldn’t recommend them enough, a huge thank you to Gemma, Danny, Alex, Emma and Maison for all your hard work. My only regret is I didn’t join sooner!

Fantastic experience: Fantastic CrossFit gym. Coaches are highly knowledgeable and experienced and the programming is tough, but always fun. Coaches go out of their way to ensure everyone is performing at their own capacity and level; all are welcome and catered for, from beginners to experienced athletes. The community is friendly and inspiring. Best CrossFit box around.

Fantastic experience: I'm a really new member at Aphobos but I already want to recommend it to others! The coaches and members are super friendly and supportive which makes you feel like you're part of a community rather than just a member at a gym. All the coaches are really committed to helping every member reach their potential, regardless of what level you're starting out at. & You really feel that you're getting a lot 1-1 coaching, even in groups which makes all the difference to your technique and performance. Equally, there is generally such a positive atmosphere in the Aphobos box which pushes you to try your best and really challenge yourself. The facilities and equipment are also fantastic. The CrossFit programme is well organised, what more can I say...! :) I'd recommend Aphobos to all!

For me this gym isn’t comparable to others. Better coaches. Better owners. Better equipment even in the old box. And better members. When choosing gyms I didn’t even have to think as to which one I wanted to be a member of.

Fantastic experience: Gemma & Danny have created such an amazing space, atmosphere and community at Aphobos CrossFit. Everything they do is for the benefit of the members and they truly care about all of us. The coaching from every single one of the coaches is amazing - they take time to make sure everyone is comfortable and form is spot on and always help you to progress. The members are all friendly and it’s all about supporting one another! I absolutely love coming to Aphobos and look forward to every single session, I always leave with a smile on my face too! Fantastic experience: I joined Aphobas in August 2020 when they opened their brand new Box. The facility is amazing and you will not find coaches of such a high calibre in many places. Since joining they have continued to adapt their classes and approach to support members through the pandemic. They take a personal approach to supporting their members helping us to set goals and achieve them. The crossfit community is always very supportive and the community at Aphobas has been nothing but welcoming and encouraging. I would recommend anyone to give Crossfit with Aphobas a go, it's very addictive and with great people it's turned into a second home!!

Fantastic experience: I've been a member of Aphobos CrossFit since March 2019. From the moment you join the coaches know your name and you are made to feel extremely welcome. The coaching team (Gemma, Danny, Vanessa, Tommy, Alex and Scott) are all brilliant - not only technically proficient but great communicators too. Their main focus is getting you moving in a safe and effective manner before encouraging you to give of your best in some very challenging workouts. CrossFit is a fantastic way to not only improve your fitness, reduce stress and boost your mood, but to do it in an environment which is fun, social and supportive for all (including those who, like me, are not very athletic). The other members are a lovely bunch and very diverse - you will find young & old, male & female, a very wide range of abilities, people from all walks of life - each one contributes something special to make Aphobos such a great place. The gym facility ('box' in CrossFit speak) is large and well equipped. Aphobos is so much more than just a gym though - it's like a big family of fitness geeks who really get behind you and care about your development and wellbeing. If I could give them 6 stars I would! Keep up the great work.

Fantastic experience: I am 57 and joined Aphobos in September 2020 after more than 25 years of inactivity. I have found a many of the workouts difficult but in all cases the coaches have scaled the exercises so that I can join in with the rest of the class. At no stage have I felt neglected as soon as I struggle the coach changes my exercise to allow me to continue. It is a slow process but I am improving. From day one I have felt included and encouraged by Danny, Gemma and the coaches as well as the other members.

Fantastic experience: I only joined a couple of months ago and although I started with a good fitness level, I have already noticed huge improvements, particularly in the quality of my movements. What makes Aphobos stand out is that they are truly welcoming of everyone regardless of age or experience and will help you find a way to continuously progress. They obviously care a lot about what they do and I would definitely recommend trying it out!

Fantastic experience: I became a member at Aphobos mid-September, and have been coming 3-4 times a week since then. I love it!! Well most of the time. Ive never exercised properly, or often enough to make a difference, but now that my kids are a little bit older I felt it was time I invested back in myself. Ive been a gym avoider most of my life. - I ended up choosing CrossFit because it looked harder than the average bootcamp, and I wanted to do something where I’d see results quickly. I’ve tried various things before; PT, boot camps etc but didn’t go often enough or take it seriously enough to ever notice a difference. The main differences at Aphobos CrossFit are: The workouts - they change daily so a) I don’t get bored and b) I get to exercise different bits each time. The coaches - I never stop being impressed by the knowledge each of them has. It’s their passion and it shows. They’re a cut above anything I’ve previously experienced; they’re not you’re average instructor at the gym, popping you on the treadmill for a 20 minute warm up. They're on you - checking/adjusting what you’re doing. They’ve scaled each exercise to my ability, so every time I do a class I know I’m in safe hands and can put my trust in the coaches enough to step out of my comfort zone and try new things. The atmosphere - everyone is welcoming and helpful. There are no egos. Everyone is doing their own thing and no one pays much attention to what anyone else is doing. I remember my first fundamental session focussed on squat technique. Once we were done I couldn’t even get down the stairs without holding onto the wall. 3 months in and I’m in much better shape. I couldn’t do a burpee either. I can now... just about. I’m nowhere near where I’d like to be fitness-wise, but hey I started late (I’m the wrong side of 40). I can feel the progress though. CrossFit has brought about some pretty big changes for me. I go a minimum of three times per week... unheard of until now. I even get up before 5am to go to the early sessions. Sometimes I check myself in the rear view mirror as I drive home from a class, and barely recognise myself. Who is this person... exercising willingly at silly o’clock in the morning? And enjoying it!! CrossFit has been a game changer for me. So happy to have discovered it.

Fantastic experience: I was recommended Aphobos by one of the girls I play rugby with and joining was the best decision I ever made! The standard of coaching is second to none, and the variety of classes keeps staying motivated a breeze. Before I joined I had been struggling with a hip injury I picked up playing 7s last summer and with the help of the mobility classes, yoga and the coaches correcting technique, it has alleviated the ache/pain completely. I'm a relatively new member starting at the end of Feb, and I can really see/feel the difference already. I'm so much stronger and fitter than I've ever been! The co-owners took Covid in their stride, moving from the physical box to a completely virtual environment in under a week which was incredible. Members still receive the same high level of coaching and classes from the comfort of our own home/garden, which has been a lifesaver in lockdown! Thanks for everything Aphobos!

Fantastic experience: I’ve used gyms since an early teen, however never had the support I have had at aphobos and I’ve only been there since November! I’ve struggled with my weight for several years now, but today I finally bought a pair of size 10 jeans, I haven’t fitted into these for at least 8 years!! To say I love this place is a massive understatement and no review can do this team any justice. Check them out for yourself.

Before I joined I deemed myself fairly fit through playing sport previously but Aphobos has taken me to another level. Fantastic experience: An outstanding box and coaches!!! Having been with Aphobos for a few months I can wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone! Aphobos goes beyond a crossfit box were members simply turn up to train and exercise, the coaches will all take a vested interest in each individual members goals and give nothing less than 100% of their time and effort to help everyone achieve it, with detailed help on a variety of different topics such as diets, nutritional advice and mobility. This is furthered by all the members bringing extremely positive mentalities into the box and make it a place where people of all ages and experience are very welcome and encouraged to achieve their best.

Fantastic experience: ‘One hundred percent YES’ is what I would say if you are thinking of giving CrossFit a go, I’m a newbie, unfit and shockingly inflexible so I can confirm this really is for everyone! What I love most is the enthusiasm, support, reassurance and genuine faith ALL the coaches have in you! They provide a tailored service all the way with your goals in mind, everything is paced with safety in mind too. Fantastic experience: Aphobos Crossfit is by far one of the best CrossFit boxes I have been too and been a member of! The coaches at the box are fantastic- it doesn’t matter how fit you are, how old you are, how strong you are.....you are all treated the same! You are well looked after by these guys and the support, encouragement and enthusiasm from the coaches is faultless! The community at Aphobos is what also stands out, all members new and old make each other feel so welcomed, cheering each other on- there are definitely no egos in this place which was a bonus! I would most definitely recommend Aphobos to everyone. Anyone who loves to workout and have fun would be crazy to not check them out!! :-) Their new box is also amazing and I’m so pleased to have found them!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of Aphobos for 3.5 years now, and it has become such a huge part of my life. Not only am I in the best shape I have ever been in, but I have made some amazing friends who will always be some of my closest. The coaching at Aphobos is unparalleled, I am forever impressed by the knowledge the coaches have. The atmosphere is also one of the best I have ever experienced. The community is so strong. Top of my social life highlights now are the big socials we have, it is like having a second family. During the lockdown because of Covid-19, Aphobos virtual box has been my saving grace. The spontaneity and creativity the coaches had from the start took all of us by surprise I think. They have created a virtual box SO well that it is almost as if they knew a lockdown was going to happen. The workouts are just as beasty, there are so many classes on offer for all abilities, and the coaches still do an amazing job - how I don’t know, it must be tough, but they take it in their stride. I honestly couldn’t imagine my life without Aphobos now, I’ve loved every moment. Bring on the next 3.5 years!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been with AphobosCrossFit since the October ‘18 and have not looked back! Absolutely love it. What sets them apart from the other CrossFit boxes I’ve attended (which are great!) is the emphasis on mobility and technique. The class frequency has also increased and that’s perfect for my schedule. The workout plans are consistent and well scaled for all abilities. Workouts are also scaled if you are returning from injury. What I’ve also seen is every coach and member build each other up consistently. Lots of happy people in one place. The newly qualified coaches are mentored and flourish in confidence. Do a trial class, get your foot through the door and you’ll become stronger and happier!

Fantastic experience: So I am new to this Crossfit lark and all I can say is my first impressions are how inviting and knowledgeable the coaches are. It’s hard to walk into a new place and feel comfortable straight away - everyone within the box is also inviting - so that welcoming feeling is carried on through the clientele. So my first impressions are professional / friendly / hard work / fun / top of their game! Everything I hoped it would be. So thanks for my first 3 weeks I will be so excited to see how i progress as time goes on!!

Fantastic experience: Joined Aphobos mid February 2019 with the goal to lose weight and become fitter. Only 2 and months in and I'm feeling 10x fitter than when I joined and a lot lighter. Really friendly coaches there to help you become the fittest and healthiest person you can be. Would 100% recommend Aphobos to anyone thinking of joining!

Fantastic experience: I have never had to motivate myself to workout since joining Aphobos because I genuinely look forward to every session! The coaches are amazing: an esoteric understanding of what they do and always on hand to ensure your form is perfect and you're getting the most out of the workout. As an absolute beginner to crossfit I cannot recommend Aphobos enough. A diverse range of members with a diverse range of goals. A genuinely supportive and positive community to be a part of!

Fantastic experience: I was recommended this gym by my work friend and it was the best thing I’ve done all year. As a complete fitness novice, it was intimidating but Aphobos lives up to its name of having no fear. You’re in the best hands with all the coaches. The community and people I’ve met have all been so friendly and welcoming. They also inspire me to push myself when I see their achievements. A special shout out to Vanessa and Remi, who started me on my journey, taught me the movements and shared their love of CrossFit. Also Danny, who always makes me laugh, shares his knowledge and is able to tailor the workouts to people like me and those that have a high level of fitness. Finally to Matt, thank you for teaching me and sharing your expertise, as well as motivating and caring for me when I think I can’t do something. No-one is ever ‘too fit’ or ‘fit enough’ to do the workouts with ease, even those with a high level of fitness experience have found the workouts tough. But, having done 3 months so far, I can say that anyone with any level of fitness will be able to do the workouts as long as you’re willing to listen and give it your best.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Gemma and Aphobos crossfit for a year now and loved every minute of it! The improvements I've had in both my strength and over fitness has been great, I put this down to the quality of the coaching and the environment at the box that had been created. Not only has my health and fitness improved I've had a load of great friends. I'll look forward to seeing what improvements the next year brings!!!

Fantastic experience: I have been a member for a month now so thought I'd leave a review for any would-be CrossFitters looking to join Aphobos! I was interested in signing up after watching the CrossFit documentary "The Redeemed and the Dominant". It's an inspiring documentary which ticked all the boxes of everything I was looking for in a fitness programme - high intensity training mixed with gymnastics and weight training. I was also feeling a bit bored at my current gym - as great as it is, everyone works out by themselves, it lacks community spirit and there's little motivation to really push yourself so I was looking for something new. I emailed Aphobos and within 24 hours they invited me down for a free session where I met one of the trainers, Dan. He introduced the philosophy behind Aphobos and what they're about whilst at the same time asking what my goals were. I have to say I instantly clicked with Dan, he's a really great person to be around. Everyone should have a Dan in their life - he will inspire you, make you laugh and work you hard to reach your goals. At the end of the introduction, you get given a mini WOD (workout of the day) at the Box (CrossFit gyms are called Boxes). I couldn't believe how unfit I was just doing the mini WOD - if there's one thing that CrossFit does well it's making you realise how much you can improve! After the introduction, I signed up to the 'Level 1 Fundamentals' course which runs for 2 weeks. You have to do this before you can become a member to learn some of the basic core movements of CrossFit. This is so you can work out safely and correctly, ensuring you don't injure yourself. I really like this aspect of Aphobos; they really care about their members and make sure that you're doing CrossFit correctly. During this period, I met other beginners who were really friendly. I had a great time during the course and learnt a huge amount about CrossFit and myself and made some friends along the way! After the fundamentals course I signed up as a full time member and now go regularly during the week. The facilities are great, Aphobos really care about their Box. It's been recently refurbished and there's always loads of equipment available during a class (which are typically 10-14 people). Some of my favourite classes are the Team WOD (where you have to work as a team to get through the prescribed (RX'd) number of repetitions and weight) and the Lift Thursday. There are lots of classes available during the week and these can be scheduled really easily using an app you can install on your phone. The community at Aphobos is second to none, everyone is friendly and we motivate each other to work hard during a session. The trainers (Gemma, Dan and Tom) are lovely people to be around, really professional and knowledgeable in what they do. Aphobos caters for all ages of varying fitness levels. Workouts can be "scaled" (modified) to suit your current level of fitness and strength. The trainers stay on top of your progress and will scale you accordingly so you're not left wondering what you should be aiming for. There's a huge amount to learn in CrossFit which keeps the classes varied. Every time I've been to Aphobos I've done a different workout. Classes last an hour and generally consist of a body prep, strength piece, and finally the daily WOD. It can be a bit overwhelming at first, but with regular attendance you will soon get into the routine of what to do and learn all the lingo (RX'd, WOD, Hero WOD, AMRAP, METCON, DU, Kipping). For any of you feeling apprehensive and pondering whether CrossFit is for you, my advice to you is just try it for a month at Aphobos. You will be amazed how quickly your body adapts to new functional movements and high intensity. After one month I've gone down two belt sizes whilst remaining the same weight and my abs have been worked so much I can now get out of bed without using my hands! CrossFit is hard work and Aphobos will make you leave with nothing, but in the long run you will reap the health benefits. Hopefully see you down the Box! Dave

Fantastic experience: Not been a member for long, but knew about some of the principles of CrossFit and used some of the techniques when I was training for Spartan Trifecta race a couple of years back. Been injured for a while now from an old mountain biking shoulder issue, but already seeing the benefits of getting stuck in to the WOD’s and working on my strength and conditioning. Gemma and the rest of the team have been excellent in helping me work on my shoulder rehabilitation too, and the fact that everything is scaled to my ability means I’m not getting injured by overdoing it. I love CrossFit - it’s not for everyone and it will push your boundaries, but Aphobos has a great team, a real sense of community and an amazing, welcoming group of members that make the experience that much better. I’ve already seen the benefits from attending 3 sessions a week for 8 weeks, so looking forward to seeing my progression as I get more experienced in some of the techniques. I recommend - come along for a trial and make your own mind up

Fantastic experience: After having a baby 3 years ago, I knew I wanted something different for my training so embarked in joining a gym as most people would do but it always was the same story, after an initial burst of motivation I would give up and not return to the gym until I would feel bad about myself again and the cycle would repeat itself.. I came across crossfit when a friend of mine mentioned it, looked it up and instantly thought I will never be able to do that!! But curiosity got the better of me and I dropped into the box to check it out before committing to anything and met the Owner Gemma and Johnny in the box. They were super friendly and I knew straight away there was something different about this place, so came in for a trial… I was apprehensive but decided to sign up about 2 months ago and wish I had done years ago!! Where do I start, I cannot pinpoint one single thing in particular that makes Aphobos such a great place to train! For me, the quality of coaching is what makes me come back week after week. I have learnt so much about technique and mobility but session after session Danny knows how to push and motivate you when you don’t think you have anything left in the tank! I am impressed at how coaches know where you are and what you can do fitness-wise so they can take you even further every time! The other thing that makes crossfit and Aphobos in particular different is the community there. From day 1 I was welcomed by all members, and I love that I have met people with such different backgrounds and different levels of fitness but all share common fitness goals. Never ever have I felt judged or made to feel uncomfortable, everyone is super friendly, supportive and helpful! You can tell the coaches care about the box (it looks sleek and lovely after some recent tlc) and the community which makes it even nicer to be part of! Anyway, this is my journey with Aphobos so far, I am quickly getting addicted to this place having so much fun as well as working hard and I am excited to see where it takes me!! If you are hesitating, don’t and come start, you won’t regret it!!

Fantastic experience: At Aphobos I have never known a more passionate and professional group of staff who become more than just mentors, as they welcome everyone into their CrossFit family with open arms. I am new to crossfit and I absolutely love it. The challenges that Danny, Tom and Gemma give us, and the way that you are encouraged and driven to work as hard as you can is an atmosphere like I’ve never known anywhere else. I recommend Aphobos to everyone, and am looking forward to following and being a part of Aphobos’ journey.

Fantastic experience: I started Aphobos CrossFit in April 2018. My goal was to loose weight and get my muscle definition back. In 4 months I’ve lost 3 stone and my definition is back, thanks to the coaches and training at Aphobos. I’ve learnt how to do things technically correct, and learnt some great skills. They make everyone feel welcome, more so than the average gym, even a person like me who loves anything pink and sparkly and can be a bit ditsy around the box. It’s the best move I’ve ever made.

Fantastic experience: I joined just under a year ago and it’s been great. The coaches at Aphobos understand where you are with your level of fitness and mobility and they will help you build it from there. A common misconception is that you “already have to be fit to do Crossfit” - it’s not the case nor the reality. The coaches recognise that everyone is at a different level and will tailor the exercise specific to your ability. So leave your ego at the door...go....do what you can and you’ll see the improvements you want to see and just remember, in an hour it will all be over...until tomorrow! They will push you but that’s exactly why I go, I just wish I’d started earlier.

Fantastic experience: I joined Aphobos a few months ago and have been so impressed by the quality of the coaching and the atmosphere in general. It's a great place to train, which really pushes you to the limits and gets results. Everyone is really friendly and encouraging, which makes a massive difference to the experience. I'd started to plateau in the gym and needed something to take my fitness to the next level. Aphobos has definitely been the answer! It won't be for everyone - you'll either grow to love the burpees, thrusters and box jumps done with gritted teeth, pushing out one more rep each time, or you'll head back to your local gym chain for the comfort of weights machines and plush changing rooms. If you want to really kick your training up a gear and are looking for a friendly gym, or box, with a fantastic social side, then definitely give Aphobos a try!

Fantastic experience: I've loved every single session! The improvements to my fitness and mobility have been unbelievable, still a long way to go. The quality of coaching at Aphobos is fantastic. Fantastic experience: If you're looking for outstanding coaching, and a great supportive community then this box is for you. I first found Crossfit when I was looking for some coaching on proper technique. I wasn't seeing results at the gym and didn't understand what I was doing wrong. Crossfit has completely changed my perception of fitness and after 6 months I've already advanced so much more than I expected possible. The coaching is excellent and to me has been completely invaluable. The smaller class sizes mean you get a lot more personal attention and guidance to help you progress. The friendliness of the coaches and community spirit at the box make turning up enjoyable each and every time. It's a really close community that supports you every step of your journey. Crossfit really is a lifestyle choice and is the best move I've ever made with my fitness.

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Aphobos for 18 months now and have loved every single session! The improvements to my strength, fitness and confidence have been unbelievable, I even attended the box holiday which the owner and head coach kindly arranged for the members, I've made new friends and can honestly say that coming here has had an unimaginably positive impact on my life. The quality of coaching at Aphobos is like nothing I have experienced before, the coaches are extremely knowledgeable and provide expert guidance every step of the way, I can do tings now that I never thought I would. The head coach is kind, supportive, friendly and truly an expert in her field, I cant recommend this place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Proud to say I have been a member now for over a year. I had been at old box before where I left great friends and great coaches. Aphobos exceeded my expectations and I now am part of a great community and have improved my crossfit tremendously. If your thinking about joining it's a great place to train.

Fantastic experience: I joined Aphobos in September 2016 because I was tired of the same training and treatment we get at regular gyms and didn't feel challenged enough. Since the beginning what caught my attention was the sense of community, support and encouragement from other members and the staff every time I came to the box. It is a great family where even my 7 year old daughter (future Aphobos kids) enjoys to be. I suffer from GAD (google it.. ;) ) and panic attacks, and being in an environment where I feel welcome is really something positive. In that regard the head coach has always been very supportive and has helped me through some difficult moments. Crossfit has become my therapy! Having injured myself (not actually Crossfit related), I thought I would have to quit but the head coach was really good putting me on rehab, changing workouts so I could still train with everybody else, always checking if I was ok. The programming is great. I have seen a lot of improvement in different areas. I am definitely stronger, my mobility has improved and I am much more aware of my body, what it can do and how I can get better. If you are looking for a change in lifestyle, want to challenge yourself, get out of your comfort zone and still be part of a great community, I would say you should give Aphobos a try. Maybe we can train together one day!
