Fantastic experience: It's the first time we have taken the kids here so it was a bit of an experement to see what it was like and, well let's say we all thought it was ace! Due to my medical condition I couldn't use most of the facilities which is a shame because when you get to the foyer there are different activities signposted and we would have loved to have been able to try many of them out with the bairns, but this trip was for them to experience the pool, and that was packed with activities and things to keep them laughing and occupied. I didn't even realise myself just how many fun things they could do in a pool these days. To be honest, I thought the wave pool when I did my offshore training many years ago was the pinnacle of what could be done, but this made it seem a bit tame! I am not going to go into detail as to what is available, I shall leave it for you to experience, believe me, you will not be disappointed! While they enjoyed themselves, we first went to the cafe for short while and watched them. The coffee was fine, and we were pleased with the whole experience, but we had already decided that while in Inverness and this close, we wanted to have a look at the botanical gardens as they were only a few hundred yards away, if that. As I knew I am very limited with walking, it had started to rain and I had my rolator today, we decided to take the car over nearer the door to park, only to find that to do that we had to drive away from the area and to a huge loop and come in from the other side. Awesome! However, I have to say the gardens were well worth a visit. There is plenty seating so I was able to covet it in short bursts easily, and I loved watching the fish in the pond in the tropical House though my fingers were itch for a rod to try and catch to two 8/9 pounders lol that were in there. Ah well, some things are not to be. On the way out I went to the accessible toilet and that was the only mar on the day. Clearly well undersized, I struggled to get in with the rolator and get turned. My wife had to stand guard outside the door even though normally she would come in to help me, and that meant I was ages in there trying to get sorted. I really do wish everybody would realise the standard recommended size for a disabled toilet is as large as it is because people need it that size! Never mind though, overall both places were worth a visit so if you are thinking about, I would recommend you just do it. I really do think you will be happy you did.

Fantastic experience: This was one of the kids favourite days and I wish we had come sooner in our holiday so we could have come back again before the end. The staff were super friendly and organised. The pool staff were attentive and there was plenty of them. The flumes were brilliant and the rapid river was fun along with the waves. Thankyou for a brilliant 3 hours. We will return one day.

Fantastic experience: The slides are great fun. Lots of other things to do as well with the waves and the river. at peek times there is sometimes a wait but they do keep you informed as to when you might get in. The outside area was closed while we were there as it was not the nicest day. Highly recommended.

Since covid their system put in place has been first class... from how you can book...youractual booking in and the hand sanitizer... space and use of their space. The staff especially have been very helpful keeping us participants up to scratch with how it all works..answering our queries with politeness, knowledge and in a very pleasant manner.

Fantastic experience: Terrific facility serving the Highlands of Scotland. Friendly, helpful staff. Lovely, clean and welcoming, with plenty of activities available year-round. Terrific competition pool, leisure waters with flumes, rapid river and incorporated wave pool and baby and toddler pool area as well. Well-equipped and supervised Gym. Spa area with jacuzzi and sauna and steam room, too. And there is even a small bistro inside the complex which is very handy for hungry munchkins and older ones alike. Great way and a great place to spend quality time with the family, or just indulge yourself. Well worth a visit.

Fantastic experience: Came to watch my niece swim in baby area. Seating available. Cafe let's you take drinks away to pool side. Was very busy/popular, staff were attentive and lots of them in the pool, which shows investment and responsibility; good management.

Fantastic experience: Went to the pool on my birthday, the water flumes and slides and wave pool were really fun and their locker system is great, no bulky keys to carry around and having to remember 20p every time you come. The vertical slide is so scary but still really fun. This has definitely been one of the highlights of my trip, we're in Scotland for a week.

Fantastic experience: An absolute must for wet Scottish holidays. There's a huge Olympic sized swimming pool and an adventure water park with 3 slides, a wave machine and Rapids. Despite a jam packed holiday my son still says this was his favourite activity!

Fantastic experience: I went here when visiting family that stay local so went with my sister, my niece and daughter only the girls went for a swim while my sister and I had a chat with a coffee ( my sister arrived with Costa coffee so don't know if they served coffee here). The girls 9&10 both enjoyed the pool and slides they have here and didn't want to get out but as both were getting a bit wrinkled eventually we bribed them out with a promise of a trip to the shops. Overall a great experience with friendly staff.

Fantastic experience: After reading the reviews was very cautious. Went there with minimal expectations. Asked if everything is open, it was. 3 waterslides lazy river wave pool... Great fun. Clean... It was during school vacation time in UK, however it was not busy. Payed for entrance, for 1 h and 20 min staid for almost 3 hours. Would recommend especially for people with children...

Fantastic experience: I've been using Inverness leisure for years whether attending the gym, taking the kids for a swim or meeting up with friends for a coffee. It has a large car park just outside and plenty of activities that can be booked with most included in the High life membership. I've always found the staff very helpful and friendly in all areas of the centre. It's also located in a lovely location with plenty of buses to and from the town centre.

Fantastic experience: My kids enjoy the pool but I personally find it rather boring. Though it's probably the best in the highlands. I love the fitness classes, good selection on offer, friendly, engaging and approachable staff. My friend likened the gym to a corridor, but it doesn't bother me. I go for the weight machines and free weights. They also have Olympic weights and a downstairs room specifically for that. There are climbing walls too, I've never used them but they seem to be popular. Very reasonably priced memberships!

Dave 6 years ago

Fantastic experience: Excellent sports centre. Great competition pool, children loved the separate pool with river rapids, wave machine and flumes. The Boulders climbing wall was also great for younger children with no climbing experience.
