Fantastic experience: Great gym - good location, the gym is very spacious & clean, all equipment is new and there's plenty of it. Some really good classes as well, especially the Sunday Bootcamp with Jude - his approach to training is amazing!

Fantastic experience: Boot camp - an excellent class for those who enjoy this form of circuit training. Jude is simply brilliant,extremely encouraging and enthusiastic. The class is full every week! Personally I liked the timetable before it changed in the New Year as there was a circuit class at 12:30 followed by Boot Camp at 1:30 on a Sunday. Both classes proved to be extremely popular due to Jude’s approach to training. The Sydenham site opened in summer 2021 so everything is new. Good location and plenty of free parking in the immediate area which is always a bonus.

Fantastic experience: I'm impressed at the quality of this gym. Staff do a good job of keeping cleaning materials stocked, and even sometimes put out fruit or free samples for gym members, which is a nice touch. The equipment is in good condition, and the facilities are kept clean. Clearly a lot of effort is put in to keeping a high standard. I highly recommend this gym for the price.

Fantastic experience: A lovely well equipped gym with a great welcoming atmosphere. Jordan's class was terrific fun - I hope he does more. Also very well located on the high street - I could nip across the road for a coffee after my work out!

Fantastic experience: Jude's abs blast and legs, bums & tums classes are brilliant! They're sure to motivate you, work all your muscles and work up a sweat! Jude is always helpful around the gym if you need help with equipment; he's extremely knowledgeable; encouraging, motivating, and always has a positive, and happy attitude. The environment in general is friendly, clean, and the gym has a wide variety of equipment to choose from. The staff at Sydenham are professional, friendly and helpful, and the manager Sarah was extremely helpful and encouraging on my first day when I found a lot of the equipment quite intimidating to use.

Fantastic experience: Great for value, hope it will be kept this way. Really good range of weightlifting equipment, 3 squat racks with wood platform, 3 more on the opposite side without. Spacious for London. Lady manager addressed rowing machine maintenance immediately after I raised to her. Briony is a super duper trainer! (that's what my gf says). Only downside is I wished equipment racking and cleaning habit was more considerate by users (understandably, the gym staff have limited control over that).

Fantastic experience: Awesome gym so far BUT my only criticism is that the dumbbells only go up to 40kg, and every other gym group I’ve been to go to 50kg. I was tempted to give it 4 stars but it is a really good gym for the value Nevertheless it has a lot of great points - doesn’t get too busy (but maybe that’s because it’s only recently opened, we’ll see whether that’s the case still in future) - has a decent amount of equipment. The power racks have hooks on both sides so 2 people can utilise one squat rack, whether they are squatting or rowing etc. - Cheap and good value

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place, went with a friend on her pass. I definitely signing up. Has all that I need right on the high street and shower facilities in place. Covid wise they are keeping it a high standard clean for sure service. Hand sanitisers are all over the place. Feel quiet safe to visit.

Fantastic experience: Great place, clean, great staff. The barcode scanner to allow contactless entry is flawed and doesn't always work which is a shame, especially in these times. More classes are needed.

Positive experience: Enjoying my membership so far. In 2021 the mechines are new and they're doing enough to keep them that way. Decent price and no queues yet. Haven't tried a class yet and hope they bring in a bit more equipment when social distancing is over

Positive experience: The gym sydenham is very spacious downstairs, good equipment compared to other commercial fitness gyms. Double sided squat racks, hack squat machine with plate loaded chest press row. However, upstairs was a bit too hot, most likely a problem with the AC. Wasn't too crowded, friendly staff. Toilets were clean at the time of my visit.

Positive experience: I love what they've done with the place, it looks great. I wasn't sure about the idea of having classes in such an open space though. I would prefer a room made specifically for classes to offer more privacy from everyone else. ????
