Fantastic experience: Just started my personal training sessions with Mike. As someone who hates the gym suprised how much I'm enjoying it private space ro workout is great and taking the decision away from how to exercise is exactly what I wanted feeling great already!

Fantastic experience: I found Mike when I was in search of a PT, desperate to reach my goals before my wedding which I was really struggling with. I was already quite active and worked out regularly but I was getting disheartened not reaching my goals, wondered what I was doing wrong. I also wanted to invest in my wellbeing and mental health, I didn't want a PT to re-teach me bad habits with unrealistic diet advice, banning carbs, treats or silly low calorie deficits. Mike was exactly what I was looking for! He has taught me better nutrition(I eat more than I did), how to value my body as not just a number on the scale and the beauty of strength training that I now have a love for! Strength training has transformed my body to where I want it to be after a year of not reaching my goal via excessive cardio before! With Mike's support and guidance I was able to reach my goal for my wedding and have learnt invaluable lessons I will continue into my everyday lifestyle within 7 months and -1stone +muscles. Having a private gym was a real bonus for me, giving me confidence to try new things I wouldn't have in a public gym. Mike was always happy to talk through different exercises I could try back in the gym on my own or give me personalized gym workouts for sessions in between and was a great ear to listen to you babble on about your day! Fantastic experience: My partner and I have just completed 12 weeks of PT with Richard. We wanted to really kick-start a change to our lifestyle. We both really enjoyed the sessions, more than we thought we would! The gym offers privacy which is what we felt was missing from a public gym. Whats been most effective is the mindset change we have experienced, Richard has really shown us that dieting, constant weighing and generally being miserable eating hardly anything doesn't work. We have removed the scales from the bathroom, and are now noticing and celebrating small changes to our bodies and most importantly how we feel about ourselves. Richard is really approachable and does everything with a sense of humour. Genuinely our lives have changed for the better since starting our sessions.

Fantastic experience: Individual attention in a truly private studio has helped to me to become fitter, stronger, healthier and happier. Mike has worked with me through injuries and arthritis so that I can stay as fit as possible. My sons join me now for group sessions and they are sharing the benefits as well as the banter!

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Mike at MB Personal Training for 6 months and have loved it. I have never managed to consistently work out for this amount of time before and can see a huge improvement in my fitness. He is so supportive no matter whether you’re feeling motivated or struggling and gives you workouts that you enjoy and feel comfortable doing whilst still pushing you to achieve the best outcome. The ethos of MB Personal Training is not necessarily about controlling your weight and getting shredded but more so about how you feel, the joy of moving your body and having the support to change poor habits with food and exercise. The fact that it is a private gym has also really suited me as the gym can often be an intimidating place. It’s a completely safe space to try things you maybe wouldn’t in the gym with the guidance of Mike alongside you. I would 100% recommend coming here if you need an affordable and supportive service to work towards your fitness goals.
