Fantastic experience: Just joined so far so good no complaints or anything yet like the idea of being able to take +1 4 times a month free so now my daughter wants to go as well.

Fantastic experience: Everything you need is there. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. I see a lot of reviews saying the place is untidy, weights left everywhere and the changing rooms being dirty. That says more about the members than the gym and staff. I'm there 6 days a week and the staff regularly clean along with the cleaners that come in everyday. I have seen some grim things in the changing rooms and I'm not sure what kind of animals would leave it that way but again... its the members and i don't feel the gym should be judged on that... the members should really grow up and act like a normal hygienic adults. So the next time you see weights on the floor or grim toilets we should first look at ourselves as it's us members doing this.. not gym employees.

Fantastic experience: I love pure Gym, mostly because of all the classes available (LBT, Pump & Strength are my regular clases) And the team of PT instructors (Georgia, Chris, Callum, Yulliana & Louis are my faves!) The flexibility of being open 24/7 for gym is really helpful & it's great value for money

Fantastic experience: A 24 hour access gym always ready for your dream body and healthy lifestyle. I registered this gym even before it was first opened to operate and never regretted doing that. Very friendly environment to keep you working harder.

Fantastic experience: Works for me. I pop in at different times of the day and always find toilets and other public spaces to be clean. Like the selection of classes on offer, the staff are friendly and chatty. I do enjoy coming back and have become a regular. And I don’t normally like crowded places so take it from me, you’re doing just fine!

Positive experience: Very well equipped gym, friendly staff. But I have dropped 2 stars due to the lack of air con!! 2 minutes in and it's so hot you feel like passing out!! It's OK downstairs, but the higher up you go the hotter it gets!! I've read its controlled by some kind of smart meter, but clearly it's not very smart as its trying to cook everyone! This needs sorting ASAP as these conditions are awful! It's a shame as otherwise a good gym. Oh the tvs don't work and don't always have the music on!

Positive experience: Great community, great level of cleanliness, plenty of equipment, and don't have to wait long to use equipment. Manage to get through workouts fairly quick.

Fantastic experience: Equipment over two floors. Showers are very modern and even have hairdryers if you require them. Lockers are free and you just need to bring your own padlock for the locker. Monthly direct debit charge very reasonable

Fantastic experience: I have been to PureGym in Harlow a few times recently during the week in the daytime. The range of cardiovascular equipment is great in my opinion and I go intending to stay for 45 minutes and have always ended up staying longer. I am impressed by the space on the top floor and the number and variety of exercise machines and weight training equipment available. The equipment is very good quality, very sturdy, stable and smooth when using (no clunking, jerking, creaking or wobbling!) and the digital information displayed when working out is excellent. There are several screens with music videos playing and these help me get into my routine and enjoy my time there. I am not bothered by other people using the gym, everyone seems to be getting on with their own workouts and look as though they are focused on what they are doing. There is usually a good age range of users from teenagers to senior citizens. I have always seen staff around when I have been there and if I needed help, it would be easy enough to find someone to ask. The space on the ground floor looks as though it has weight training equipment only but I haven't been in there yet as there are always only men using this space. I am sure it wouldn't be exclusively for males and maybe I will go and have a look around after a few more visits. The gym seems clean to me and the female wcs and changing rooms have been spotlessly clean everytime I have been there. Car parking in the Water Gardens is only a two minute walk and costs 90p for up to 2 hours on weekdays (£1.20 on Saturday and 50p on Sunday). Your car parking fee is deducted from your bill if you spend at least £5 in Asda or Matalan next to the car park. If you don't spend enough to redeem your parking fee, you can still donate your car park ticket at any time to the Tickled Pink Breast Cancer charity in Asda or NSPCC Childline in Matalan in the buckets provided at the end of every checkout so don't throw it away. The gym is fully accessible and is open 24 hours! I have nothing bad to say about my experience and there isn't anything I could suggest needs improvement. I really do like this gym :)

Fantastic experience: Have been using this gym for a few weeks now and it is a great gym. The machines are good quality and always clean. Only thing is I wish they had built in radio. I've been when it is busy and it's busy but not so busy that you can't use anything. Everyone seems to get on with what they're doing and mind their own business. I always see members of staff there too. Changing rooms, toilets and showers are all very clean. Lockers are provided but you have to buy your own padlock. They sell them in the vending machines there but would recommend you buy your own as they charge £4.50 for a padlock. It does actually state that you aren't allowed to take bags etc on to the gym floor and that's why lockers are provided. On the ground floor is all weights and is really big with lots of equipment, second floor is changing rooms and cycle gym and top floor is the gym. Loads of equipment to use which is all clean. When you sign up for a membership they give you a few days to go to the gym before they take your payment, so i'd ignore the bad reviews and try it for yourself. I've been a member of a few gyms and this is a good clean gym. Would definitely recommend.
