Our company is based on the belief that everybody can achieve their Fitness Goals with the right knowledge and support behind them. We are committed to providing that knowledge and support, along with a passion for motivating you in order to help you succeed.

We also deliver a number of optional Fitness Trips at certain times throughout the year, such as Mountain Hiking, Muddy Obstacle Course Events, Challenges & more - both here in the UK & abroad. These offer milestones for you to train towards and complete, along with others in our fantastic community. Our latest trip was to the Fjords of Norway, to climb 'The Trolls Tongue' - A real chance to put your training into practice and experience one of the most phenomenal viewpoints in the world!

Fantastic experience: Dan has been training my husband for around 6 months now and recently I started to go along to the sessions as well. Dan is very knowledgeable and tailors the sessions to our specific requirements. He always ensures that our technique is correct to avoid injury. He changes the routine every time to optimise the results, which makes every session different, interesting, challenging and fun! We are delighted with the results, as we are both looking and feeling so much stronger and fitter. We’d like to say a huge thank you to Dan for his support and encouragement. We are looking forward to continuing to improve our fitness under his guidance.

Fantastic experience: I’d like to say a huge thank I you to both Tom and Dan for their support, encouragement and most of all their expertise in helping me regain my fitness this year. The years of sitting at my desk and commuting in the train had taken a real toll on my health. At the start of the summer I set myself a personal goal to focus on my health and well-being, with a specific focus on getting stronger (not just slimmer). At my initial meeting with Tom he listened intently and asked thoughtful questions about my goals and objectives. I’ve been training with Tom and Dan for 5 months now and I incredibly proud To say I’ve lost weight, lost inches, gained muscle mass and increased my fitness levels. This was possible because the team set very clear training objectives for me from the outset, they listened when I made suggestions and incorporated those into the programme. They reassured me me when I felt I wasn’t making progress and celebrated me when I did. The training sessions are continually adapted to stretch me or reflect my increased fitness ability. I have never watched the clock when during a training session and I’ve never been bored! Quite the opposite. One of the best things about training with this team is the client activity weekends they organise. I joined them on their Snowdon trip this year which was an absolute blast. Fabulous fun from start to finish. It’s great way of testing your fitness levels after months of training as well as incentivising you on carry on. I’ve already signed up to the Norway trip which the team are helping me to get physically fit for. Once again, thank you both for your professionalism and support. Looking forward to the next challenge!

Fantastic experience: being with tom for about 4 months. Before I started i was in pain everyday with back problems with some days I could barely walk. Tom Recognised my problems straightaway and tailored A program to my needs Tom‘s been the best money I have spent on anything over the past two years could not recommend him anymore and he really nice guy 4 months now and my back is stronger then every highly recommend him

Fantastic experience: I initially looked into PT sessions as I was very nervous about going to the gym and was looking for some guidance. I have been training with Tom for around 3 months now and I cannot thank him enough. He has helped build my confidence and understanding in the gym. He is always so positive and each session is different and I already feel so much stronger. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Dan for the last 5 months and would recommend him to anyone thinking of getting a personal trainer. I would not hesitate in commending Tom Richards Personal Training for toning / general fitness.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Tom for the past 2 years, only stopped as I'm going travelling as I would still be training with him. Since being with Tom I have learned so much about how my body and muscles work and taking all of his knowledge to be able to use on my own. I've always loved going to the gym but having a personal trainer makes a session a bit more fun and I find a push myself a little bit more when I train with Tom. Not only does he offer personal training and dietary advise, he does a few client trips which are always fun and gives you something to work for. I would highly recommend Tom if you want to change your lifestyle and have fun while getting in shape.

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Dan at TRPT for 15 months now. Both Dan and Tom are very professional and friendly. I have been making steady progress working with Dan, who continually adjusts my training to suit my progress, and competitive goals. Would highly recommend TRPT!!

Fantastic experience: I have been working with Alex for around a month now, with the main goal being to get fitter and lose weight. When we contacted Tom originally, our enquiry was dealt with very promptly, politely, and straight away both my husband and I felt at ease. Alex is encouraging without being patronising, and is so friendly as well as personable. Sessions are varied, and I feel like I am being pushed without being pushed too far. Although initially both of us thought it would be a shorter term thing to give us a push, we are both planning on carrying on with our sessions as we feel we are getting a lot out of them.

Fantastic experience: After years of wasting money on gym memberships that were rarely used I have been training with Tom for over four years and this is money well spent. My goals are realistic and very much tailored to me, I am pushed to go further but within the limits that I am happy with. Tom offers a full range of metrics to help track progress against targets. Can not recommend him or the team highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Having started training with Dan several months ago I can safely say that he is more than capable of helping you reach your fitness goals. He has proven himself to be very approachable, knowledgable and an overall motivator. An added bonus is the knowledge of injuries and plans to either improve these areas or manage accordingly. Also the overall set up of the business is well organised and something that everyone should consider if they're looking at improving their health and fitness.

Fantastic experience: Dan knows how much I don't like the gym but he still motivates me to turn up every week. A blend of small challenges and encouragement has helped me achieve my goals and for the first time I have made long term sustainable change to my fitness and overall health and well being.

Fantastic experience: Trained with Tom for a few months now, once a week and he is a great PT ! He pushes you to achieve your fitness Goals. Love the sessions, and feel the burn the next day. Tom is friendly and approachable. Would 100% recommend him.

Fantastic experience: During the consultation I made up my mind right away to book with Tom. He was engaging and interested in my exercise history and what my goals are. My training with Dan has been very challenging but enjoyable, Tom and Dan have made me feel comfortable and have encouraged me to push myself. Dan is very knowledgable, experienced, reassuring and fun to work with. Despite moving away shortly, I will continue to book with Tom/Dan and will return to the area for the sessions!

Fantastic experience: Since I started training with Tom, I have caught the fitness bug which I didn't believe was possible after years of trying to get fit. The sessions are motivating, enjoyable and there hasn't been a time since I started where I haven't looked forward to the next one. Tom has shown me that I can achieve more than I imagined and has helped me achieve targets I never believe I could. I have gained in confidence and would recommend these guys every time.

Fantastic experience: I train with Tom twice a week for nearly two years. He has pushed me to a level I couldn't achieve on my own. This investment has given my a new confidence and better energy levels. Tom is very professional and a good motivator. Outside training Tom organises walks and other social activities. If you're looking for some PT I would put Tom high on your list.

Fantastic experience: In the time that I have been trained by both Tom and Dan, I have always felt positively challenged and personally supported. They have been sensitive to, and understanding of, my complex personal circumstances and have still made me feel motivated to work hard. Even in the breaks I have had to take in my training, Tom has kept in touch, and checked up on how I'm doing. I like to work hard when I train and I have made steady, positive progress every time. I really can't recommend them enough really. If you're looking for committed, personable, motivating trainers to help achieve your goals, whatever they are, I'd definitely recommend these guys.

Fantastic experience: Ever since beginning training with Dan, I have become a completely different person. Not only have I changed physically, but it's given me a huge confidence boost. I never thought I'd enjoy going to a gym, but the both of them make it an enjoyable place to be. It's challenging, and so rewarding when you beat personal bests. Never in my life would I have thought I'd look forward to lifting weights, but I do every week! I very much look forward to carrying this on.

Fantastic experience: Tom and Dan are fantastic trainers - motivating with a really positive approach (no scary shouting unless you want it!) as well as being friendly and welcoming - no session has been quite the same but always with the aim to improve or push your fitness in an achievable way - They don't let you get away with much and work you hard but are always the first to highlight an improvement or positive change! My fitness has improved++ since starting with them - would recommend them every time

Fantastic experience: I've been training with Tom for 6 weeks now and it's been well worth it. He has made me feel totally at ease in the gym and has a real emphasis on making his sessions personalised. He pushes me to my limit every session but without making it a chore!

Fantastic experience: Tom is a nice guy with a steely determination making him the perfect personal trainer. I have had bad experiences with other trainers and am glad I gave Tom a go, have been with him for over 3 years now and at 47 am the fittest I have ever been. He pushes you hard but not to the point where you make an excuse to miss the next session. If you want to lose weight or just tone up give him a call.
