My passion and main focus is on helping people lose weight, get fitter and ultimately improve quality of life by helping to make lifestyle decisions that ultimately lead to massive improvement in their health and quality of life.

You can go into any gym and for £30 an hour you can get someone to give you the same program they are giving all their other clients and count your reps while checking themselves out in the mirror.

It actually gives what we do as bad name and it’s one of the reasons why when you come to us you are also getting a coach rather than just a personal trainer.

My name is Marco and I have been involved in health and fitness for the last 10 years. I like to see myself as more of a coach than a personal trainer, who’s job is to help navigate you in the direction you want to go in order to ensure that you get where you want to be in the shortest time possible.

OK, so I get the irony that we are called Northwest Personal Training, but for the majority of our clients the emphasis is not always on the training aspect although it is always on the personal.

One of the reasons that the focus has to be on the personal aspect is because I understand that if you decide to take the step of applying to come on board as one of our clients then we know that you have reached out to usfor help.

Because of this we will do our utmost to help you get to where you want to be. We will strive to do this in the fastest time possible, regardless of what your goals or struggles are.

Typically my personal training clients come to me if they want to lose weight, improve their health or because they have lower back or shoulder problems that need addressing.

For me the most important part of what I do is to get my clients from A to B, that is take then to where they want to go and in the fastest time possible.

Losing weight, getting fit and healthy is not just about what we do in the gym. It’s much more than that and our services (and results) reflect this.

As an example if we take someone who is stressed and push them hard in the gym then that is only going to make your body more stressed. This could potentially slow down your results.

to assess the impact that your current lifestyle on where you are right now and why it may be stopping you from getting to where you want to be in the future. This will allow me to put together a unique plan specific to your personal needs.

to help us identify your strengths and weaknesses in the gym. It will also identify any areas of concern in terms of your posture that may be causing you issues like lower back or shoulder pain. This can even cause migraines. Using your current fitness levels, injury history and mobility as a starting point this will enable us to ease you into a program at a pace and intensity that suits you.

This is where a lot of the magic happens. By asking you the right questions about what you want, we can help you become more motivated. Helping you to set goals that have emotional meaning specifically to you. This is something that I guarantee you won’t get with other personal trainers and is one of the main reasons why we get amazing results with pretty much all of our personal training clients.

Fantastic experience: Some 6 weeks ago I decided to join Liam Thompson at his northwest fitclub in mcr city centre. Liam's knowledge and support program includes a well developed high intensity fitness and weight management system that geniunley delivers fabulous results. I have lost 17lbs in just five weeks, my sleeping pattern hasn't been this good for 20 years. I have more energy, feel much happier and more focused at work. Liam I just wanted to say thank you, me signing up with your program for the next 6 months was one of the easiest decisions I ever made. I recommend Liam's program to young or old it will work for everyone all you need is committment and prepare yourself for hard work because the results are outstanding.

Fantastic experience: If you follow what Liam tells you about nutrition and exercise, you will lose the fat - it's a simple as that. After 5 weeks of 1 to 1 personal training, I've dropped a dress size (those small jeans stuffed in the back of the cupboard now fit) and I've got a far better understanding of how to make sensible food choices and the correct exercises to do. I was also really worried about poor posture and Liam has totally helped me correct it in just five weeks, with specific exercises which I can easily do at home. The food choice is really varied, the exercises are varied too and never get boring and Liam is a thoroughly nice guy - all in all the best money I've spent in a long time.

Fantastic experience: Having tried lots of diets including WW I'd become really fed up with still gradually putting on weight so decided to sign up to something completely different. From the beginning I could tell that NW Fit Camp was different. Liam is really serious about you seeing results and really pushes you to take it as seriously with everyone encouraged to set a personal goal and strong reason why you're really doing it. The initial two week detox was tough but it's surprising how quickly you adopt new eating habits. I used to eat wheat with almost every meal and am now really asking myself what I want when I go to choose food, to put weight on or to lose weight? Having not exercised for 2 years, I found the classes extremely tough to begin with but Liam's uncompromising motivation pushed me much further than I would have ever done at the gym. After just 3 weeks I can already see my body shape changing and my fitness levels increasing. If you're stuck in a diet or exercise rut and want to try something different, this is definitely for you!

Fantastic experience: Joining Fit Camp at North West Personal Training is one of the best decisions I have recently made. I joined not to lose weight but to tone up and improve my overall strength. I get so bored at a normal gym and have no motivation to go, I need encouragement and inspiration and that is exactly what I get from the team. The group that attend the Fit Camp are all fantastic and training with them is great fun and it makes exercising a much more enjoyable experience. Liam and the team are fantastic nothing is too much trouble and their encouragement and motivate to push yourself harder is amazing and just what I need. After my first 5 weeks I already feel fitter stronger and more toned, the results are already showing and I’m having fun which is the most important part about it all.

Fantastic experience: Having reached a personal weight loss plateau, I decided to find a personal trainer to help with the additional weight I wanted to lose. Finding and working with Liam has brought instant results (just over 2 weeks into a minimum 12 week program, I have lost nearly a stone!) but not in the way I was expecting. Liam is very perceptive to individual needs and through adjusting my diet, reducing stress and positive encouragement I have been able to achieve the results I wanted. The actual physical training is relatively a small part of his plan for me - not necessarily how much I train but how I train has been the key. Excellent, I couldn't recommend Liam enough.

Fantastic experience: If you're sat reading this wondering if you should give personal training a shot then you're exactly like I was 3 weeks ago; looking for a change in your life and for someone to reach out to to help you get there. 3 weeks later, I'm over a stone lighter, 100% more energetic with renewed confidence and self-esteem. You'll make a lot of investments in your life but rarely get such a life-changing return. So, what about Liam? An affable character, his expert knowledge of nutrition sets the foundation for the weight loss while the personal training sessions are varied and planned to push your body to the limit. Each session grows in difficulty yet this passes you by as you gain fitness quickly and effectively. If you're lucky enough to work with Liam I can tell you now that you will get the results you want and faster than you ever thought possible.

Fantastic experience: I joined Fit camp along with my good friend and running companion Audrey Gresty, largely because Audrey had a foot injury preventing her from running as much as we did normally. We are members of Sale Harriers, Manchester. Liam was a breath of fresh air, his knowledge his second to none and his committment as a personal trainer is admirable. We have both lost over a stone, completely changed shape and feel so much more motivated. We go 3 times a week to the morning sessions and enjoy the variety of indoor and outdoor classes. Liam is very good at giving nutritional advice as well as the exercise and is readily available for any help, advice or support which is an added bonus. Thank you LIam, here's to the next 12 months !

Fantastic experience: I would just like to start off by saying that if you are considering losing weight or want to change the way that you feel about yourself, Liam is the man for you. Not only has he and his program helped me lose 2 stones in 8 weeks but he has also helped me increase my self-esteem. The headaches that I used to have are now gone, I have much more energy to do things that I like to do and I no longer feel the need to let food control my life. If you listen to what Liam says than I guarantee you that you will get results. IF I CAN DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT!!!:)

Fantastic experience: I am really impressed by the Fitcamp and would definitely recommend it to others. The exercise and diet combo worked amazingly, I have toned up loads, improving my strength so i can now do press ups on my toes! The exercise was intense but the sessions short so its easy to fit around a busy day. I like that the results can be had without long workouts, and diets where you are hungry all the time. The diet is brilliant, i am sticking to it still most of the time, cutting out wheat and processed food, my skin has improved, i have more energy and i don't really miss the CRAP! haha. Liam was always on hand for advice and support, and very motivational and positive.

Fantastic experience: Just finished a 2 month stint at fit camp and lost a stone and a half! Cannot praise Liam any more for what he does, he has the answers to anything you are worried or unsure about so in that way the offers a whole lot more than most trainers as he concentrates on you psychologically as well as the nutrition and fitness. I've done classes and gyms before but have never enjoyed it as much as this, once you start seeing results and getting better at the exercises (which you will) you will always want to go; I never got that feeling of 'urgh exercise' which I always had previously. Wish I could carry on but have work commitments, couldn't advise this any more. Thanks for everything Liam hope to see you in Wilmslow!

Fantastic experience: I have trained with Liam for just over 2 years. My main goal was to fully recover from back injury (slipped disc which caused loss of power in my left leg) and to reduce body fat. In a nutshell, Liam is: 1- incredibly knowledgeable: he has years of experience and it shows. His sessions are never dull or repetitive. He is a wondrous source of advice on several other topics, ranging from nutrition to psychology. He is always reading and learning new things - you will do the most up to date exercises, guaranteed! And he has sound scientific knowledge so he will not dazzle you with fads - I should know this as I am a doctor myself! 2- charismatic and enthusiastic: he managed to motivate one of the most exercise-averse person ever (me). I think this is especially important for non overweight clients, as the pounds will not drop as quickly hence the reward is less immediate. He is always exceedingly polite and knows how to push you hard without being a pest. I don't like to be patronised or yelled at and Liam strikes the right balance between friendliness and drive. 3- thorough: he plans our sessions meticulously and he will be constantly checking that your form is correct. I feel safe knowing that I am not at risk of injuring myself. I am aware of his unique skill when I look around me in the gym and notice how less diligent trainers overlook major posture mistakes in their clients. I would highly recommend Liam to everybody and I am very lucky to be his client. The best PT ever.

Fantastic experience: I was researching different exercise groups and classes because I really lost motivation to go to the gym anymore and felt at a loss of what to do to get some regular exercise. I enjoy doing activities to keep fit, but the gym turned out to be so repetitive and I soon started to avoid going. At Liam's fitcamp classes it's a lot different. I have been going for 2 months now and no two classes have been the same. This is the kind of variety I was looking for and it really does make it fun; i have never once dreaded to go like i did the gym! The classes are intense but it is very rewarding when you start to improve at the different kinds of exercises. Being in a group of others going through the same thing also gives you motivation to carry on and keep pushing yourself to improve. I have found that I have gained a lot more strength and muscle tone since starting, and seeing results like this has made me not want to give up. For me, this class has really driven me to keep at building my fitness slowly, and its great that i can do this whilst taking part in a really fun and friendly class.

Fantastic experience: Liam is an excellent personal trainer. The classes are always challenging and push you and you notice results because of this. Liam keeps the exercises varied and motivates you throughout. The nutritional advice is comprehensive and you can tell Liam knows what he is talking about. He is always available for support and checks on how you are progressing or if you are experiencing any problems. I have had many people comment on how you can tell i have lost weight and it is all because of the change in lifestyle inspired by taking part in the bootcamp.

Fantastic experience: When I first started fit camp around 4 weeks ago I was very weak. I couldn't even lift my own body weight or squat! My energy levels were bad as well, I'd feel really tired before the end of the day even if I hadn't done much. This has all changed now! I am much stronger, fitter, have more energy than ever before and I feel great! Never knew working out and eating clean could be so much fun :) Thank you Liam, you are changing my life for the better :)

Fantastic experience: The best workout sessions i have ever done. All the trainers are well educated and informed about health and fitness and are more then happy to give advice beyond the training sessions (meal plans/additional workouts through the week/stretching problem areas. They are encouraging but know your capability and are willing to help push you to your goals on the days when you can't. The people who workout are lovely, it's a real highlight to go train with them. Highly recommend trying it out.

Fantastic experience: I joined up because I wanted to lose weight and get a bit fitter... but I have gotten so much more than that! I have found a fantastic new group of friends, and I have learnt so much about what I am eating, what I should potentially steer clear of, what I can indulge in and still move ever closer towards my goal. I have discovered muscles that I thought had long since fled :P and have even noticed I am using my inhaler a little less :) Liam is an excellent trainer, knowing when and how to push you to get the most from each session, but he isn't you typical 'gym head' either - which is something really refreshing and has really been instrumental in helping me stick to it and keep coming back :) I have only been here just over a month (doing 3 sessions a week), and already am feeling better, have more energy and have lost inches and lbs!

Fantastic experience: I have completed 10 weeks working with Liam and I have lost 10kg . The best decision of my last year end was hiring northwest personal training. Liam is the best coach . Eating is my hobby :-( . So it was always tough for me to stick on a diet for more than a week. But Liam's diet plan is awesome . Although there are lot of stuff on the Internet what to eat and not to eat but when I met Liam I found that even before I was dieting I was making worse myself with wrong selection of food. Now I eat more tasty healthy food without gaining weight. I must say I always thought that I knew all about diet and exercise but now know it was all wrong what I was doing before was driving me to wrong side . I still go to restaurants and some times treat myself with my favourite food but it never takes me away from my goal because my diet is always planned under Liam's suggestion. I was always scared of doing exercise . People running for half an hour with 7-8 speed always just depressed me but Liam never put me on all these exercise. Now I have exercises which make me feel fit and I do them confidently because my coach knows what exercises I can do and what exercise is correct for me. After diet and exercise the most important thing is about motivation.The environment and the fact Liam gave me a very good starting session and within a week my results started motivating me. Now I wait for Monday Wed and fri so I can keep moving one step ahead towards my goal. Being here is one of the best decisions I took. Thanks northwest Personal Training Manchester . Fantastic experience: I have been using Liam as a personal trainer for about 18 months now and I cannot speak highly enough about his practices and his methods. As well as being a fountain of knowledge he also brings a personal touch, designing sessions geared entirely towards your body and your goals as well as getting to know you personally and making you feel comfortable in the gym. Liam is excellent and pushing you and by challenging yourself in response you can achieve great things. I have trimmed down and toned up under Liam's guidance, but also developed a greater overall mindset on healthy eating and looking after myself better on a day to day basis. On top of all this I cannot recommend highly enough the 28 day detox. Staggering results! And the best thing of all...hes an Evertonian. What more could you want!?!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Fit Camp for 7 months. I have lost over 2 stone during this period. Physically and mentally I feel much better. My fitness levels have improved tremendously and everyone keeps asking me how has this transformation has been achieved. The truth is by regularly attending the sessions three times a week and listening to Liam's advise. He is a perfectionist and will help you in any way he can so that you can achieve your targets. The sessions are great fun and the fact that your not on your own makes it a lot easier. My only regret is I should have joined Fit Camp years ago but now that I have started I have no intention on giving up. You will have trust me on this when I say that if I can lose weight and feel good then there is absolutely no reason in the world why you can't.

Fantastic experience: After much Deliberation and soul searching I decided to find a "personal trainer" to assist me, a 39 year old fat man with no idea on how to lose weight and feel fitter! Also I have 2 young children who I want to run around with! I had Tried fad diets and even joined a gym where I had no idea what to do or where to start. I found Liam's web site and and was instantly drawn to the before and after photos of normal looking people loosing weight following Liam's 12 week programme. I took the plunge and can honestly say it has been one of the best decisions and personal investments I have ever made. I did the initial 12 weeks and could see huge visible changes, with family and work colleagues commenting on how different I looked, so decided to continue a further 4 weeks before moving on to attending 3 group sessions a week which I love. I am a month away from my 40th birthday and I am 3&1/2 stone lighter, I have gone from a 40" waist to a 34", I have signed up for the Manchester 10k and a tough mudder in September, which if you had told me a year ago I would be doing, I would have laughed! I was so impressed with Liam's approach I have recommend him at any opportunity and one of friends has also now joined in. All I can add is if you are thinking about it just do it, you will not regret the amazing life changing results. Good luck

Fantastic experience: What can I say, im a changed women. I now get up 3 times a week to meet Liam at 7.15 to work out. I am the fittest and healthiest I have ever been in my life and loving it. Liam keeps the workouts fresh and different, so you never get bored, and if you have any aches or pains, he will tailor the workouts to suit. I have recovered from crippling back and neck pain a lot quicker because of the support and advice he has given me. I just need a bigger bank balance now to buy new jeans, because all mine are falling off me! Highly recommended.

Fantastic experience: Fitcamp really works! I’ve been going to different gyms around Manchester for years. It was easy enough to lose weight in my 20s but in my late 30s just doing an occasional treadmill run and a few weights wasn’t making a dent. Liam’s fitcamp and healthy eating plan is the only thing that has worked for me in terms of losing weight, toning up and generally feeling much fitter. I lost a stone and a half in about 6 months dropping at least one dress size and for some clothes two! I have kept it off ever since and friends still comment on how much weight I’ve lost. It’s had other benefits in that I have far fewer headaches than I before, I’ve barely had a cold in 18 months and it makes a real difference going on holiday and not feeling uncomfortable and tired walking around. The classes are challenging and varied and the people who go to fitcamp are really good fun. It’s definitely not intimidating as some classes can be but that doesn’t stop us working really hard and Liam is really approachable to talk about all kinds of problems! Fantastic experience: I'll start with the results, as they really speak for themselves. In 3.5 weeks I lost 12lbs, dropped a dress size, and lost 2 inches off my waist. I'm incredibly lazy and hate diets, and any effort in the past I had made to lose weight didn't even come close to this in such a short space of time. From the off, Liam is very supportive and incredibly well-informed on the dietry aspects, but he certainly makes you work for the results which I think this makes all the difference in a personal trainer. Not only are you getting 3 good workouts a week, but you get all the meal planning and food advice you could ever need. There's also a lot of work on mental attitudes towards food and changing your eating habits for the long term, which is where most diet programmes/gyms fall short. More than this, Liam is pretty much on-call via Facebook and mobile 24/7. This is invaluable during your first week when you're in agony, feeling miserable from the detox and just about reaching for the Ben and Jerrys (I won't lie, it's a rough period, but completely worth it when you see it through!). There are always little tips and tricks he can offer to make things easier, and before you know it you look and feel so much better. The workouts themselves are hard work, but you feel noticeably stronger and fitter in a very short space of time. Being in a small group is brilliant because you have others to support and cheer you on, and with the amount of guidance you get from Liam it feels like a 1-to-1 session - no opportunity to sneakily drag your heels at the back of the class! I couldn't tell you another fitness programme that offers such support and well-informed guidance for such low cost. I highly recommend this to everyone.

Fantastic experience: I have tried loads of different diets, going to the gym etc but I didn't have the motivation or the willpower to get to my goal. When I got the opportunity to train with Liam I decided to give it a try because I was fed up with being fat and frumpy. It is my 40th soon and I have a holiday coming up so had something to work towards. With Liam, you don't just get a fitness session, you get a whole nutrition plan, help, advice and encouragement. I have lost 12 lbs in the first 4 weeks and I am really happy. Liam is always available if you have any questions or problems or even if you just need a pep talk. I have signed up for the next 4 weeks and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Liam to anyone, the results speak for themselves!

Fantastic experience: Fit camp has helped me find the old me again. Following enquiries, I received a phone call from Liam (I was in the middle of scoffing a takeaway at the time!), which jolted me into action. I was in that horrible cycle of eating for comfort, putting on weight which made me feel worse, then turning to food again for comfort. At the time, I was feeling completely stuck, and with no motivation to do anything about it. Joining fit camp changed all of that. I was tasked with writing down my ultimate (but realistic) goal and this is what keeps me going. Attending the first session was absolutely petrifying but I went along and stuck with it, I'm glad I did. The sessions are short but packed and you really know you've had a good workout (and even more so the next day!). The trainers are all great and make the sessions work for everyone at different levels of fitness and capabilities. In two months I'm fitter, healthier and have so much more energy. I've even been able to wear my smaller clothes again.

Fantastic experience: Liam's boot-camp = FANTASTIC. I joined way back in March for just a month to see what i could get from this that i wasn't getting from the gym. Having been a gym member for years i wasn't really getting the results i wanted but more importantly dint have enough motivation or decent advice on the exercises and nutrition that would work best for me. As soon as i started the 4 weeks of boot-camp i knew i was onto a winner! The exercises vary from session to session and and though hard (no pain, no gain) Liam is a great personal trainer and ensures the sessions are also fun trying new things and encouraging team exercises. What's more after a few weeks, i really noticed the difference in my fitness levels and found exercises i struggled with in the first few weeks were suddenly a doddle!Liam also makes sure he gets to know all of his clients, what they want out of the sessions, what they've tried previously and is always available after sessions or at the end of a phone to help with any problems and offer advice. For me this is essential. He will tailor diet plans and exercises to suit you and your lifestyle. Incredibly motivating, he will push you to the point he knows you can get to, even if you think you 'can't'. One must never say the 'C' word in Liam's sessions!7 months later and I'm still there - it's a lifestyle for me and i feel much healthier and can't see myself leaving anytime soon! :)

Fantastic experience: I would highly recommend Liam Thompson and the North West Fit club - to anyone who is looking to get fitter and shape up in a sensible and well-supported way. It has really worked well for me and I have enjoyed the workouts so much as well - even at 7.15am! The comprehensive nutrition programme which is provided along with the workouts really really does bring the results it promises - if you stick at it and stay focussed. Importantly (for an emotional eater like me!) the motivational support that Liam willingly and genuinely provides, is truly excellent and provides invaluable help in keeping on track and focussed on what you want to achieve (both food and exercise -wise). Liam is good fun and extremely knowledgeable about health fitness and nutrition - read his blog posts and articles as well and you learn loads!. I had surgery on my lower back a few years back and have been nervous about what exercise I can safely do since then. Throughout the course Liam has really paid attention to that and I have felt very well looked after and safe throughout. What's more my back has never felt stronger AND I have lost weight, so I am happily signing up for some more NW fit camp workout sessions.. This is the best fitness, nutrition and general health programme I have ever come across, so many thanks Liam!

Fantastic experience: In order for me to give a quality review - you must first be aware of the type of person I was before I joined North West Fitness; I'd experienced a major knock to my confidence and self esteem and as an actor, this had a huge negative effect. January 2012 I gritted my teeth and decided to do something about it. Having tried the gym and various diets on numerous occasions, I decided to try a Fitness club. On my first session, I was 15 minutes late - I sat in my car and was petrified of going in and worried of what people might think. Looking back, I realise how ridiculous this sounds! Through attending the fitness sessions, following the diet guidelines and the constant support and encouragement from the wonderful Liam, the weight dropped off and I managed to lose 3 stone and 3/4 dress sizes. And that wasn't the best thing about the whole deal...I made some fantastic friends, gained the confidence to perform again and now have the knowledge to continue this life change. This group and this man changed my life and I really can't thank him enough!

Fantastic experience: I have really enjoyed my month of personal training sessions with Liam and have got so much more out of them than I would have ever expected. Working with Liam has made me completely re-think the way that I exercise and the way that I eat, with the M.E.A.N fat loss system. I have managed to tone up areas that have been stubborn to sort out through all other exercise programs that I have tried. He was also able to pick up on postural issues within ten minutes of meeting me, which have greatly improved since I started, as have the associated aches and tensions! He has been more of a lifestyle coach and trainer rolled into one and although a month is not very long, most of the stuff I have learnt is transferable beyond the time that I have paid for, and so is well worth the money. Not only is Liam a really good trainer, but also a really friendly and supportive guy. I plan to carry on with the fit camps in the future to keep reaping the benefits! Would highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: WOW! Amazing results in such a short time, over the moon with the results and how my life has changed, Positivity, Energy, Fitness levels I could only dream of a month ago. I came across Liam through a friend’s recommendation after his amazing results. I’ve been looking to ditch my couch potato life for a long time as I am now 48 and needed to make an investment in my future health, so this was the perfect opportunity. I enrolled on one of Liam’s one to one sessions. The first few sentences express my reaction to Liam’s excellent coaching, scientific approach to nutrition and exercises. Liam guided me steadily into exercise, introducing some great fun exercises and a few challenging ones as appropriate. Liam even managed to deal with a very painful knee I have had for countless years, I can now run, climb stairs without incidence, truly amazing after such a short time, a testament to Liam’s excellent person centred coaching. I am now on my 5th week ( I signed up for another month) and currently have shed 18lbs of body fat and increased my muscle tone and mass, again results I would not have believed possible without Liam’s guidance. There are some photos showing the results. Liam is very easy to get along with, a great chap, good sense of humour and will always put you first, I would recommend anyone looking to invest in their health and fitness to give Liam a ring or email, you won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: I started last week and am really enjoying the feeling of getting towards fitness levels i used to enjoy some years ago. I really needed a kick start to return to the regular exercise routine that i had got into the habit of before i became an 'empty nester' and boy does this give you that! I do the morning classes and getting up in time is probably the only bad thing about this... the rest is great!

Fantastic experience: I came to Northwest Personal Training as I was sick of the way I looked and wanted to get fit for summer. It was definitely the right decision. Not only are the classes great to get you into shape, but also Liam is a great personal trainer who also helps you with your nutrition etc. I lost a stone in a month and would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting help to get into shape.

Fantastic experience: I have been with Liam for 6 weeks so far and I can already see a huge difference, not only physically but mentally too. He made me realise the changes I needed to make to improve my lifestyle, in turn I have much more energy and my food cravings are gone! I would definitely recommend Liam to others.

Fantastic experience: I have been training with Marco my Personal Trainer for over 5 years now... He has been brilliant in keeping me on track and for starting me to love fitness. He pushes me too levels that I would never do myself and I am constantly improving. I lift weights that I would never of thought I would ever been able to achieve. Marco is great on technique and making sure I am doing things in the correct way to ensure that I don't damage or hurt myself. My main issue is I suffer with poor flexibility and Marco works hard with stretching to help resolve which will then in turn help my overall fitness goals. Overall, it is an pleasure training with Marco

Fantastic experience: I’d used 2 trainers before Marco (both from David Lloyd fitness) and stuck with Marco as the sessions weren’t just moving between fitness stations... he impressed on me the outsized importance of diet and always asks about what I’ve eaten and advises how to notice last nights patterns in my mood and diet. Hes at peak fitness himself and we apply current thinking around training as a continuous process of improvement. For example, I’ve had to appreciate the importance of way more cardio than with my previous trainers. I went from avoiding 4 min hit interval runs to a 10k 49 min effort in 8 weeks... definitely worth considering

Fantastic experience: Joining the Fit Camp at North West Personal Training has been a fantastic experience. After two months out of the gym following a back injury, my Mum suggested speaking to her personal trainer about getting back into exercise. I had become demotivated, low in mood and energy so I needed something or someone to help me get back on track. I was also experiencing lower back pain. My Mum's trainer introduced me to North West Personal Training Manchester and since then I have not looked back. I do a mixture of one to one and also go to the fit camp sessions. The location is fantastic as I work in Manchester and it's easy for me to get to the camp going to or from work. Liam, Nathan and Marco are brilliant trainers who each bring their own style to the fit camp sessions. They will work you hard but they are dedicated to helping you reach your fitness goals whatever your starting point or ability. There is also the added bonus of getting to train in a group - everyone has the same aims and the support from the members helps to give you that extra motivation to do your best. I would 100% recommend North West Personal Training Manchester if you want to get fit, improve your nutrition and lose weight. I no longer suffer with back pain, I am now the fittest I have ever been in my life and I can only see myself getting stronger, faster and leaner. I would like to say a huge thanks to everyone at North West Personal Training! Onwards and upwards!

Fantastic experience: I have just completed my first 4 weeks with Liam Thompson at Northwest Fit Camp and have loved it. I am lighter in weight, but more importantly I have lost over an inch on my chest, waist, hips and bum in just a month. I am now a dress size smaller!! So pleased with myself. I look health, happier and leaner, my shape has changed for good and for the better. I have really enjoyed the fitness classes with its variety and the challenging exercises and I truly feel motivated to continue towards my smaller dress size goal!!! Come and try it for yourself x
