The Unit 24 Gym

Fantastic experience: If your into your old school bodybuilding, power lifting and competitions this is the place for you. Clearly very experienced knowledgeable staff who have a wealth of knowledge. They have recently renovated and bought to life the existing gym which was outdated and run down. a big credit to them for this. Equipment is on the older side of the spectrum, however it has a authentic old school feel. this may be distasteful to some however i think its great. They offered a free gym session to get a taste if its the gym for that person. Be warned this isn't your average glitzy glam, gymshark type gym. if you are looking for that, search else ware.

Fantastic experience: Great bodybuilding style gym. No fancy machines, and no over crowding. Lots of plate loading machines and weights that go up to 80kg. Has another section with various punch bags and combat equipment. If are serious about getting strong or building a great physic this is a gym you should visit. Very friendly staff and very knowledgeable. Everyone I've met has been nice and great atmosphere to workout in. Would definitely recommend

Fantastic experience: I have been a member of the gyms with saunas ,solariums etc where you look out of place without the latest styles in gym wear. At these type of places nobody talks to you and the training is usually superficial. At the unit everyone acknowledges you the owners Dave and Laura care and there is a team of like minded people to carry out personal training sessions for all levels of fitness. I would recommend ‘The Unit’ to anyone who is serious about achieving there fitness goals.
