Fantastic experience: Physique Gyms Hemel Hempstead is the best place to train at. There is new kit constantly arriving, latest machines on the market. The staff is incredible! Lee-Anne will make you feel part of the family as soon as you step in to the gym. We all know each other’s as members, we’ve got a real friendship going on. And I think for me it’s the fact that at Physique, we don’t go train just because this or that, there’s a real sense of purpose when you go to Physique. Some compete, some do photoshoots, a lot of people do fitness tutorials, some do posing classes. There’s a real drive to move forward and progress. Best gym I’ve been to.

Fantastic experience: After going to many 'Leisure gyms' with limited equipment, careless staff and PT's I have found my go to transformation gym... Physique gym is the true demonstration of how a gym should be run... Fantastic and helpful staff who make an effort all round and remember you on a first name basis... The Equipment is second to none and since signing up I have seen gains much quicker. The environment is friendly, light hearted and demonstrates an ethos that keeps you attending time and time again. The supplement and merchandise section is fantastic and caters for all people with all dietary requirements and preferences. I absolutely this place and I am proud to be a member of this amazing gym!

Fantastic experience: phenomenal gym; staff are lovely and caring, equipment is fantastic and brilliant gym vibe, £7 day pass and 3 floors to the gym, very clean and well looked after, they have a store too with clothing, supplements and other things, can get a protein shake made in store and got offered a shot of pre-workout as I paid for my day pass and signed in, best gym I've ever been to, will be back for sure

The owners Lee-Ann and Chris genuinely care about each of their members - they remember your name and always ask how you’re getting on with your fitness journey. The atmosphere & music is always good, the equipment is great and everyone you come across is lovely. If you’re thinking about joining - just do it! I’m glad I did :)

Fantastic experience: All the equipment you could need, with new equipment arriving frequently. Everyone respects putting weights back and keeping the gym clean. Great atmosphere and friendly staff & members alike. I’m not a member as it’s a little far for my daily gym sessions but I take the trip at least once a month to make use of the diverse equipment they have. I love a leg day here, 10/10 every time

Fantastic experience: Awesome Team, Awesome Gym. Was my first day going today and I’m instantly greeted by the head trainer Chris who is so welcoming! It’s makes such a difference when the staff actually care about your experience. The quality of the equipment is top tier and the layout is amazing and doesn’t make it feel all cramped up inside. I just left pure gym as I want a more upbeat/intense environment and from just being in there for 2 hours I can tell I will be in there as much as possible! Best gym I’ve been to in Hertfordshire

Fantastic experience: The best Gym in town, hands down. I was originally a member of The Gym Group and would pop down to Physique on a day pass. The more I got to know Chris and Lee-anne, the more frequent my visits became. In the end it made more sense to join properly because I was spending 85% of my gym week there! I suffered a pretty serious injury back in Dec 2019 and both Chris, Lee-anne and the entire Physique family have been nothing but helpful and encouraging. And it really is a gym family. There has not been a single time that I have had a bad experience within this gym. Everyone is there for the same reason and the support and community that has been built is second to none! Im proud to be a part of the Physique Gym Family!

Fantastic experience: This really is the best places I’ve trained. The thought that’s gone into the equipment and it’s quality it’s outstanding. No matter what muscle group your going to train they have a selection of machines to use or LOADS of free weights. Three floors of fitness fun......... The gym carries a huge selection of supplements and pre workouts. They also love to try new to market products and can advise on what ever you require. The atmosphere is great and it’s nice to see a good mix of people at different stages of their fitness journeys.

Fantastic experience: Buzzing atmosphere, kit is spot on, not just a gym. Super friendly bunch, loads of supplements, clothing, food, drinks etc. Multiple floors with different kit, weights, cables, cardio, boxing bags, sunbed etc. Aftercare with Brandon is always spot on for your aches and pains. Personally I rave about this gym to everyone, happy to call it my home now. So much better than my old ‘generic gym’

The gym when you walk past may seem intimating however this gym is far for this I have never gone to the gym for more that a few months and I have been going to this gym for over 1 year now and I love to the owner make a point of trying to make everyone for at home

I am considering starting a weekly series reviewing local/national gyms. Would anyone find that interesting? Yesterday I had the pleasure of visiting @… gym in Hemel Hampstead. I had such an exciting time that I would like to share with you my opinion of it and give it a note of how good I think it is marking it out of 10 (this is only my opinion based on the experience I had!) First impressions / the look - 10 - the gym looks modern, spread over 3 levels with a wide rage of services including tanning beds, caffe and a store for merchandise and supplements Equipment variety/choice/quality - 10 - high quality new equipment with an amazing variety and renown brands ( Atlantis and Hammer Strength ) very well maintained Atmosphere/Environment/Members - 10 - good atmosphere with good gym music. Wide range of members of all ages and fitness levels. Staff - 10+ - I was greeted by the lovely couple that run the gym who also offered me a quick introduction/induction. Seemed very friendly and highly knowledgeable Cleanliness/Tidiness - 10 - the place was spotless during my visit, all the modern bathrooms spotless. All members present were cleaning the equipment (some before and after) and all the weights returned to the right places. Price - 10 - I paid £7 for a day pass which I think it’s spot on for what the gym offers. According to their website the monthly membership is £39.99 with a £20 joining fee. I also had a medium size meal for £5.50 and a very nice quality and nice muscle fit t shirt for £22.99. I haven’t had more time to check the supplements prices. Other pro’s or con’s - Such a wide range of services all in one place. The offer of £40 unlimited access to the sun-beds makes me wish I was living in Hemel. The food was also nice, however, only had a very limited choice 2 choices of chicken based and one mince beef based meals. However the meal was tasty and bodybuilders friendly with a very detailed label. Overall I score this gym 10/10, being one of the bests gyms I have been in so far and definitely looking forward going back for a Back and Biceps session to give those nice looking ‘toys’ a run. PS: I trained hams and glutes yesterday and are extremely sore today.

Fantastic experience: This gym is by far the best, I've been to a lot of gyms over the years and hands down Physique is by far the best. Chris and Lee-anne have done a fantastic job, not only with the huge variety of equipment but making the gym such a welcoming place to everyone who steps in the door. The atmosphere within the gym is next level, the staff and trainers can't do enough to help. You really are made to feel like one big family. I would highly recommend Physique Gym, get down and give it a try yourself.

Fantastic experience: This gym is by far the best gym I've been to over the years. The equipment, atmosphere is just amazing and most importantly the staff make you feel welcome like no other gym. The staff are all experts in their field and Chris and Lee Anne thank for your help and you've done amazing with this place. All the staff are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Personally I don't think there's a better gym out there. Hands down the best gym I've been to and I've been to lots. The only place I've been to where I look forward to a workout.

Fantastic experience: After being member at most gyms in Hemel, this is the best gym by far. The staff are so welcoming and always there to help you in reaching your goals. Along with this the members are all supportive and approachable. There is so much more I could say, but I really can’t recommend Physique enough. Visit it and you won’t want to leave.

Fantastic experience: This is one of the only gyms I’ve ever been to where you feel part of a community, like a family. No one makes you feel self conscious and although I find it’s a more serious gym which I love, everyone is so friendly. The owners are fab and always on hand to help if needed. The gym is always pristine and loaded with the best equipment. There’s a huge range of drinks, supplements, snacks and meals all ready to hand which is a huge bonus. I would highly recommend physiques and personally wouldn’t want to train anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: This gym is by far the most addictive and interesting gym I’ve had the pleasure of going too. The staff are friendly and polite. Motivating and genuinely nice. The equipment is excellent. I have been able to get more out of this gym due to the atmosphere and environment then any other gym I’ve been too. Five star all round.

The gym has all top of the range equipment and a cafe which does great protein shakes and lovely healthy food. Whether it’s your first time in the gym or you have trained all your life you won’t feel out of place, this gyms atmosphere and friendliness is amazing .

Staff are all knowledgeable and happy to help with anything. There is a nice cafe at the front which serves healthy but still tasty food too!

Fantastic experience: My short time spent at this gym has been nothing short of mega! Great kit, great atmosphere and the staff.. top class with service (Ella is a legend) as well as helping out with training if/when needed. Sorry, never got chance to meet Anne but she was super helpful on the phone with directions, local parking info and squaring me a temp deal for my time here. Fantastic experience: Excellent gym with friendly atmosphere much better then your usual run of the mill commercial gyms around town. The gym has all new top level equipment. Had Loads of free weight equipment,cardio area, and the best resistance machines All of which serve a proper purpose to hit all muscle groups. The staff are very friendly and music played inside will ensure you stay motivated to smash your workout with out needing bringing your own headphones. I recommend to try this gym they do daily pass you won’t find better.
