Fantastic experience: Recent gym refurbishment with all new equipment is pretty impressive. Over £100 per month for membership but I great gym, so in my opinion well worth it.

Fantastic experience: It is expensive but it is worth it. The staff are great and work hard to make the place look and feel welcoming and inclusive. Whether working hard to keep fit, improving your game, or just relaxing and enjoying yourself, this club has something for you. It is also great for the family with children's activities and classes and a fantastic soft play and computer area to keep them occupied whilst you relax with a drink.

Fantastic experience: Excellent club. Recently updated. Weight room is two levels so the current pictures don't do it justice.

Fantastic experience: It's a great club. I've been a member for years and they are always improving facilities. Indoor & outdoor tennis courts - fantastic. The staff, the restaurant and spa are also wonderful. It has to be one of the best tennis clubs in the country.

Fantastic experience: Exceptional club. Well run. Responsive management. Excellent spa facilities that are carefully monitored. Staff in clubroom attentive and fast. This club should be a benchmark for the group. Even better than Hampton and that's saying a lot.

Positive experience: Good gym and facilities. A nice spa for a gym with a small variety of saunas/steam rooms and a large indoor and outdoor jacuzzi bath. Only downside was that is it very busy/noisy, especially in the evenings. Therefore, nice for a catch up with a friend or post workout chill but not as a relaxing experience in itself.

She solves any problems incredibly quickly and is very professional and empathetic. The club not only cares about your fitness, but you as an individual. I highly recommend this gym to anyone looking for a friendly, high-quality place to train.

Fantastic experience: A really great club, with the facilities always improving. Lovely staff, especially in the creche. Restaurant / Bar is comfortable and reasonably prices for light meals and snacks.

Fantastic experience: I've been a member here for over 17 years and have never been to another gym or club with such good overall facilities. I have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. In an establishment this size there are always opportunities for improvement but I prefer to keep sight of the best things about this club. I recently switched to off-peak gym membership which, at £80 per month, represents good value for money and is £50 per month less than my recent renewal quote. It's also a very comfortable spot for the occasional bit of work or business meeting (outside of school holidays when the bar area can become a bit raucous). No intention of cancelling even though the club is up for sale *again* (ref. article in The Sunday Times 25/3/18).

Fantastic experience: Long term member of club (15+ years), and I can honestly say I love my club. It is more than a gym or swimming pool to me and has become a valued part of my life where I have met many a good friend over the years which have seen my through everything you could imagine. David Lloyd have invested in the club and the facilities are ever improving (not a smooth transition from Virgin I will note, but it is slowly getting back into normal proceedings) so hopefully it’s onwards and upwards moving forward. The staff are all an asset to the club and all make an effort to welcome you and get to know you so you are more than just a number. I’m sure the past few months would have been as tricky for them as it has been for us members with all the changes taking place so they all deserve a hearty pat on the back for reaching the other side in one piece! Management do seem to have a reasonably quick turnaround I have noticed, so hopefully we settle in a with a great leadership team moving forward. Have seen the general manager (unsure of name) walking the club however have yet to meet him so I cannot comment on him personally, however friends of mine have spoken with him and he seems extremely knowledgable in the field which is great. I have noted a comment in a review below regarding an interaction with Chloe, I had the pleasure of meeting her myself late last year when I was unable to attend the club due to health concerns that appeared suddenly. Chloe was nothing but friendly and understanding when speaking with me and I wouldn’t hesitate reaching out to her in future if I ever need assistance again as I was dealt with genuine care. I see her around the club fairly often and she always greats me and knows my name without any prompt, and so I take so that comment with a big pinch of salt (there’s always two sides after all) as she is a lovely girl who seems to have a tricky job. Finally, although the membership prices are slightly steeper than those of around the area, for what facilities you get included and the general atmosphere, I can highly recommend this club. As long as you make sure to utilise everything that is included in your membership then the positives far out way the monetary expense per month. I have no plans to leave the club in the foreseeable future and so I hope to have many more happy years to come.

Fantastic experience: I was a member here for years, the star are top notch, always friendly and happy to greet you. The gym floor facilities are excellent, as are the kids club and restaurant. It's a little let down by the pool facilities, these should be much better for the price. But all in all the best Virgin Active Gym I've visited into the South and the best gym by far in Bracknell.
