Positive experience: I good gym to start or build an exercising discipline. Friendly and professional staff to assist you with your needs, and like most fitness facilities, have adjusted operations to comply with the COVID health guidelines.

Positive experience: Many machines, clean, pretty big, many things to do even swimming pool or sauna.

Positive experience: Good gym but very dark, there's a lot of equipment at better gym; treadmills & cross trainers rowing machines & bike upstairs. The free weights area is quite condensed & cramped but seems good for cardio & this gym is linked to nhs so I believe this suggests it is a decent gym.

Fantastic experience: Brilliant. I stayed in the premier inn and wanted to go to the gym. It was free as a trial and three pounds thereafter. Good cv equipment and plenty of weights etc. The staff were also great. Really impressed.

Positive experience: Always gone here. Cheap and cheerful with friendly staff and customers. Never any bother, most people that go just get their head down and do their own thing. Could do with newer equipment though.

Positive experience: It's a nice size gym not too big but not small it has two levels you have weights, weight machines, dead lift bar, cross trainers and running machines on the lower level and on the upper level you have your bikes and steppers, stretching area and a little area where you have stack machines for leg press leg, curls, chest etc. Staff friendly. Could not comment on times as I go in the day or early morning. Free parking, clean changing room and showers. Need ur own lock! Hopefully this helps.

Fantastic experience: Cant fault this place, I needed help and they were there for me immediately.

Positive experience: Decent gym. Staff are friendly. Has potential to be bigger if layout was changed as weights section could do with expanding. Does get busy in peak times which makes it hard to get on machines. Free parking is a bonus, no contract is good.

Fantastic experience: The staff at BG Basildon are the best thing about it. Always willing to help and ready to listen to any issues. I have trained at this gym for 5 years. Sometimes I get a free guest pass to try out other gyms in the area....But the staff and atmosphere can't be beaten at BG Basildon.
