PureGym Weston-super-Mare

Fantastic experience: If you're wandering which gym to join in wsm this needs to be on the top of your list. I've tried a few including Nuffields, @worle and Hutton moore. This for me is the best if you're not bothered about a pool, sauna or jacuzzi. O and go for the premium, you get free flavoured mineral water unlimited* It can get busy at the normal times but its 24hrs so pick a different time. Staff are very helpful, I didn't know how to use the flavoured water machine and the lady took me over and demonstrated. She also had a very pleasant attitude. Thank you that lady. Plenty of machines, free weights and cardio. Loads of floor space, does not feel cramped at all. The pod entrance system in cool and works really well. I had a good look around and all equipment was working/clean. The showers and toilets were spotless but the hand basin could do with a clean. My only real criticism is the changing room is locked between midnight and 5am which closes off the showers/toilets. There is a keypad on the door but i don't know if this will let you access the area at those times All this for £27pm for the premium membership, half price for the 1st month. no contract and you can take upto 4 friends a month

Fantastic experience: Gets crowded. Be maybe good to think about relocation or extension of some kind. Even at 4am it's always packed at times. Other then that. It's clean, loads of equipment (when not full) and definitely good value for money.

Fantastic experience: I went once and had a heart attack, hope to return soon! Update ~ 2 years later and I am able to return, I'm so glad I did, its a great place with no queing for equipment.

Fantastic experience: Good gym with lots of equipment and space. The hand sanitiser by the exit is soap at the moment and the water flavours keep running out which is really annoying

Positive experience: Good gym, always pretty clean inside too. However please try to stop people who are not disabled parking in the disabled bays outside. It’s the the same people every day and is selfish of them.

Fantastic experience: Excellent sized gym! Great veriety of equipment, cleaned every early morning and has helpful and friendly staff. Puregym's only drawback is the apparent lazy culture of many members finding it beyond their capabilites to return equipment to its rightful place. This can be turned into an advantage for the smarter trainer who recognises returning heavy plates left by other members can be part of your strength training programme. I highly recommend this gym.

Fantastic experience: Lots of cleaning stations around the gym but they mostly seem to be out of cleaning spray. Overall the gym has plenty of equipment and space to work out. 24 access is a bonus as I work shifts so can go when it's quiet.

Fantastic experience: Gets really busy Mon- Fri in the evenings, but it's a big enough space for everyone. For the price, you cant complain. And for the guy feeling entitled about his blue light card discount that gave a bad review - The opening discount rate couldnt be beaten, and after the 6months is up, I get my bluelight card discount automatically. Emergency services should be good at basic Maths. I worry for who ever you are employed by, and serve....

Fantastic experience: Only been there about a month, getting back into fitness after a year out with shoulder injury, but Loving Puregym Weston-super-Mare, staff are very friendly and helpful. Enjoy the classes which you work at own pace and are encouraged throughout. Sadie, Debbie and Harry have all been so supportive in such a short time.

Fantastic experience: Love the gym great equipment..I have personal training sessions with Sam and I must say he is very knowledgeable and pushes me through all my workouts.. always leave with a pump and great diet advice I give him five stars alone best pt I have used so far
