Hatha yoga is the branch of yoga that typically comes to mind when you think of yoga in general terms. The practice involves breath, body, and mind, and classes are usually 45 minutes to 90 minutes of breathing, yoga poses, and meditation. I have been at Totally Aktive for 3 year now and wow, what a difference! This is 100% nothing like I have ever done before and never have I been so motivated to train hard and eat well before! Jamie and Michelle push you and encourage you through tough work outs, as well as coach you and guide you through sensible nutrition to fuel your body and crack bad habits. Every class is different and challenging but so exhilarating and rewarding! Everyone is of different abilities , backgrounds, shapes and sizes, but everyone is friendly, supportive and a great group to train and have a laugh with. I have made some amazing friends since joining the group and everyone is so friendly and supportive of each other.  If you want results, don’t waste time with gym fees just join Totally Aktive!

Boxercise is the latest and best exercise to empower women and get men back into the studio. The workout uses the entire body. Cardiovascularly you burn more calories in an hour than using a stairclimber. You use your whole body your arms, your legs and the time flies as you work on body movement, agility and momentum.

Boot camp workouts can vary. They generally include a fairly intense mix of aerobic, strength training and speed elements within each class session. ... A boot camp workout is essentially a type of interval training — bursts of intense activity alternated with intervals of lighter activity.

Fantastic experience: Went to see Lee at LW Sports Therapy. Always get great physio service. Feel better everytime I leave. Now using Lee as a coach for forthcoming half marathons.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Totally Aktive for around 2 years now and it has completely transformed my outlook and level of fitness. What I love about this gym is that the staff are really friendly, focus on your goals and have classes to target every body area from Cardio to Weighted training. There is nothing pretentious here too so everyone fits in and the people are amazing. I have made so many friends along the way and we also do other activities outside of the Bootcamp to keep us busy also. I would recommend this to anyone over the bigger gyms if you want to get fit, meet new friends and have fun while training.

Fantastic experience: Jaimie is a great trainer. This is his "Pain Cave" where he runs mixed martial arts classes for adults and kids, fitness training classes, boxercise and has a small gym for personal training. There is also a sports physio that works out of here and I think they also run some yoga classes. If you want to get fit, lose some weight or learn some martial arts then give Jaimie a call.
