Evesham Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: I think this place is suberb. I have been a member of the poshest of private gyms, such as the Chelsea Harbour Club, but this place beats it hands down. It is accessible to all in terms of cost, no membership commitment etc, concessions for the unemployed. There is a range of exercise classes for all levels. The place is really friendly, clean and efficient. The gym equipment is second to none. I particularly like the fact that it caters for everyone, kids, the elderly, the masses, those recovering from strokes etc.

Fantastic experience: We love coming here! The staff are polite, helpful and friendly. The swimming lesson teacher that teaches my little boy on a Tuesday is ace. She so bubbly and full of life. The kids all seem to love her. The environment is clean and well cared for. There always seems to be a lot of classes and things to do. And the water in the studio pool is the perfect temperature for little ones. I've been coming here for about 8 weeks and will be continuing to do so :)

Fantastic experience: I love visiting this centre, Sue on reception is so helpful, always friendly. This is a lovely centre, kept very clean and tidy. I don't know what to say about Jill (who teaches Adult swimming lessons), after years of being terrified of water, I never through it would be possible to learn to swim. She gave me the support and confidence to overcome my fear. I can know swim. I will be eternity grateful. No matter what age you are I would recommend learning to swim. I'm 52 this year and I think I will celebrate by going for a swim

Fantastic experience: Great value, no hassles.. Even easier to use now you don't have to book although I find it too easy not to go if I haven't got a time to hit Nice temperature water, not too crowded and free lockers if you have a reusable 20p coin.

Fantastic experience: My boys very much enjoy their swimming lessons here on weekday evenings. Family swim times are also good. Not used any of the other facilities but keen to try som classes and the climbing wall.

Positive experience: Spacious and clean. Good facilities. Very friendly and helpful staff. Was surprised about swimming pool being so open for anyone to view and not sure why that is necessary as maybe self-concious people could feel awkward. I would as I prefer enclosed pools.

Fantastic experience: Love it here although can be intimidating as a visually impaired person as the disabled changing room feels more like a storage cupboard. Got a membership 5 days ago but don't know how to use the gym equipment and not sure who to ask but other than that its great

Fantastic experience: Fantastic Leisure Centre. I’ve used this location as my only gym for the past 4 years, and the facilities are brilliant. You could not ask for anything better. Compared to other gyms i’ve been to, this gym excels in everything, especially SPACE. On visits to other gyms i’ve found that everything is crammed in, and you’re constantly checking your back for people doing everything. Even at maximum capacity, you feel like you can just immerse yourself into your workout! There’s all the equipment to suit your needs, beyond that what a standard gym could offer. 4 squat cages, 4 deadlift stations, pull up and fly machines, and everything else in plentiful amounts to guarantee you can a place on whatever you like. Everything you’d see in the $$$ gyms in London. For the avid Fitness enthusiast, this gym offers precisely what you need. Coming here is a pleasure each time.

Fantastic experience: Adapted to COVID19 restrictions well, happy to keep returning. Plenty distance between gym equipment and good supplies of sanitiser and wipes. So good to be back and I'll be making the most of the gym now it's back open.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming pool that opens really early during the week on my one and only visit to the area - cost of a swim is £4.50 on a one off basis. As I had not used the pool before the staff were approachable and told me where to go etc. Sometimes there is a swimming club there first thing in the morning and adults can use the smaller pool but then move to the larger pool (as it was a Wednesday morning this happened at 0730 with the lanes being opened - fast, medium and slow and general swimming. There is a good car park for users but from where I was staying it was walkable

Fantastic experience: This place had lovely helpful staff an very good facilities...gym sports hall swimming an jacuzzi all excellent...not seen the cafe open yet as I only go at weekends ..changing facilities are clean an easy to use lockers.

Fantastic experience: This is a great leisure centre offering a whole host of activities. From its' two swimming pools, health suite, gymnasium, sports hall, rock climbing walls, exercise studios and café, it's got the lot! Staff are friendly and helpful, and prices are reasonable. I'd recommend getting a membership for the best value. Only downsides are that you have to pay for parking, and the gym can get a little crowded during busy periods. However with the centre getting an extension during 2018, it should help deal with the increasing demand!

Fantastic experience: Nice, clean changing rooms, Mixed with family changing. 25m pool, warmish not cold pool. Nice cafe / coffee shop. Climbing wall looks interesting. Parking 2 hours for 50p. Friendly helpful staff.

Fantastic experience: Love it! Staff are great, the gym staff are always on hand to help with fitness tips or new workout programmes. It's always spotlessly clean. I feel at home there.

Fantastic experience: Yeah I love it, just wish there were more nights than just Wednesday I could have a general swim straight after work at 5.30 Also climbing wall routes could do with a bit more frequent turn around!
