Based at Trailfinders Sports Club we cater for a wide range of clients with differing needs and targets. Whether you are aiming for muscle gain, weight loss, body tone, or rehabilitation from injury, we provide guidance, support and full nutritional plans to get you where you want to be.

Since our founding in 2001, we have grown into a fun, friendly, and result-driven personal training service for anyone needing help with health and fitness.

Our studio is based within Trailfinders Sports Club in West Ealing – offering a complete range of facilities and free parking for your convenience, and maintains a safe and friendly environment at all times.

All of our personal trainers in Ealing are carefully selected to maintain a high standard, in keeping with our ethos. Today, we have a top-notch team of experienced, skilled, and caring fitness experts who cannot wait to help you meet your health and fitness goals.

Our training philosophy is based around functional training, and one that is right for each client we work with. Functional training provides you with the strength, power, stability, mobility, endurance and flexibility necessary to thrive in everyday life and in sports.

Not one type of training programme works for everyone. We have the skillset, knowledge and experience to get you on the path that gives you the best results and works best for your body. To give you a taste of how things work, we offer a free one-hour consultation in our studio.

There are no shortcuts to achieving optimal health and fitness. At the beginning of every session, we tell our clients that they can achieve their goals one step at a time. We do this to ensure that each one feels comfortable, motivated, and encouraged with every step of the process. It is also important that all changes are manageable and happen gradually to ensure a long-term, sustainable improvement, both inside and out.

We also offer our services to people with medical conditions such as lower back pain and those needing guidance after recovering from an injury. Some of our clients train for skiing, mud run, cycle trip, the London marathon, or any specific sport. Personal training is also an ideal mode for people lacking motivation to stay active and fit, and need a little bit of encouragement.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Georgia Mahony at West London Fitness eight months ago and in that time, she has helped me achieve my goals of being fitter and stronger. She has motivated me to work harder each session, always building on what I've achieved and with clear goals in mind. Personal training at West London Fitness is great. The small gym atmosphere makes you feel special and your personal trainer is always focused on you. Training with Georgia Mahony has helped me develop my potential and perform better in my sport, while giving me more confidence and strength. The variety of training exercises and equipment really helps me stay motivated and engaged with the training. There's always a new challenge to suit me and that's what makes Georgia a great trainer! I highly recommend West London Fitness.

Fantastic experience: When I moved from North London to Ealing I left my personal trainer that I had been with for years. I looked for a trainer in Ealing and tried a few places but was uninspired. The gyms and the trainers I met seemed a bit intimidating and consequently I did nothing and let things slide. After a couple of years of unhealthy living I was 2 stone overweight and feeling very sorry for myself. I found West London Fitness through a Google search and arranged to go and meet them. I have been training with Karl at West London Fitness for the past year and it has been a fantastic experience. Karl is very motivating and knows how to get the best results out of me. The training sessions are great fun and the hour flies by but he works me hard and I feel like I’ve completed a marathon by the end of each session. The gym itself is well-equipped and extremely welcoming. Everyone is very friendly and I feel very comfortable there. Karl has great knowledge of fitness and nutrition and has helped me to completely change my attitude towards my health and fitness. Consequently I am in a much better place than I was a year ago. I have lost 2.5 stone and, at a recent 360 health test, my doctor was delighted to confirm that I have the fitness age of 25-29 (I’m 46). I doubt I had that fitness age when was actually 25! I’m well on the way to reaching my target weight loss of 3 stone and am now thinking that I need to set new goals once my total weight loss is achieved; I have every confidence that whatever goals I choose that Karl will push me beyond my perceived limits to achieve them. Thank you so very much – in a strange way I think you’ve saved my life!

Fantastic experience: I have always struggled to go to the gym in the past due to not knowing what to do, lack of motivation or plain boredom. I have managed to keep up Pilates sessions for 3 years since having major abdominal surgery but I wanted to feel and be stronger which is why I decided to get a personal trainer. I came across West London Fitness and have been working with Georgia Mahony for the past 4 months. Georgia is very knowledgeable on various different types of exercises involving weights and cardio methods that I didn’t know existed. The sessions have been extremely enjoyable and almost easier to do with her motivating me along the way. The gym is small and well managed and does have more than enough equipment to provide all the necessary training. The atmosphere is less intimidating and friendlier than the larger less personable corporate gyms. I’m surprised about how good I feel immediately after a session, I’m always in a great mood and over the past few months I have noticed my body toning up significantly. Georgia is great fun to be around and always mixes up the sessions and tailor makes them for my needs and the hour with her flies by. The personal training and Pilates complements each other well, I am stronger in both sessions and am able to do the more trickier poses and exercises which gives a great confidence boost. Initially I took on sessions to provide me with some knowledge to take away to train by myself but having Georgia providing me with the support and advice, I am hooked and will continue to use West London Fitness going forward. Fantastic experience: Jamie Lea at West London Fitness is by far the best personal trainer I have ever had. Sessions with him are always tough, sometimes very tough, but always fun, and he is good at accentuating the positive.

Fantastic experience: Training with Karl at West London Fitness in Ealing has been excellent. He knows exactly what techniques to use to get an effective workout done in 1 hour. Having dislocated my shoulder in the past, I found it difficult to go gym on my own, whereas Karl has been very good at strengthening my shoulder and giving me new ways of working it out without straining it. Now I feel more confident in using my shoulders and arms when I am working out on my own. I started working out with Karl when I was training for my half marathon. With the personal training, I managed to beat my time by 15 minutes as well as make my overall running skills much stronger.

Fantastic experience: I contacted West London Fitness back in January 2015 to enquire about personal training sessions, and chose Jamie as my personal trainer due to his extensive specialist knowledge of working with injury rehabilitation, posture correction and alignment. Over the years I've battled with various injuries and felt it important that my P/T fully understood my weaknesses and offer a fitness programme suited for my needs. The sessions were held at a private gym at Trailfinders in Ealing and we started off with two sessions a week at an eye watering 6am to fit in with my busy work schedule. Jamie observed my movements and varied each session to focus on building up and strengthening weak areas. It wasn't a walk in the park and took commitment and patience, especially when the scales didn't move but instead of getting hung-up on a quick fix, Jamie helped me with nutrition and kept a keen eye on my food diary and after many heated discussions (aka excuses), changes were made and long-lasting changes began to happen. Now I no longer reply on the scales to tell me how I'm doing but trust the fact that I'm wearing size 10 jeans (minus the muffin top) that the 6 months hard slog has paid off. I've totally changed my relationship with food and know that my new understanding of eating the right foods at the right time combined with regular exercise is the way forward. No more fad diets, juicing or extreme diets - they may work to drop weight initially, but they're not sustainable and the weight will go back on with a vengeance. Six months ago I walked into West London Fitness overweight and depressed and today I left after my last session with a new found confidence and a body to be proud of. Thanks Jamie xxx

Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Jay for over two years and I must say I’ve seen significant improvements in my overall health. Fantastic experience: I started training with Jamie at West London Fitness after a hospital stay left me with low energy and rapidly diminishing muscle strength. Fantastic experience: Two years ago I made the decision to finally address my chronic lower back problem through personal focused core exercise. I have never looked back. Jamie is the supreme professional who somehow manages to combine his deep understanding of the human body and a compassionate nature, in his approach to exercise. Fantastic experience: I have been training outdoors with Georgia W from West London Fitness for nearly a year now, and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The sessions are hard, but great fun and have improved my fitness but also my broader health enormously. Fantastic experience: I started seeing Jay at West London Fitness after I was diagnosed with heart failure and my cardiologist recommend a specialist personal trainer to assist my recovery and weight loss. My wife and I found Jay via Google and the location in Ealing/Greenford is really convenient for us. Six months on working with Jay as my personal trainer has been like winning a small fortune and has given me a new lease of life, literally! I used to struggle with walking, had almost constant joint pain and shortness of breath. Since seeing Jay I have reduced all of the above and continue to see him now to improve even more. Jay is qualified to work with persons with health issues and very personable, super friendly and motivating. I can’t recommend him and West London Fitness enough. Thank you Jay!

Fantastic experience: I was looking for a personal trainer in Ealing for a while, and after reading such positive reviews for West London Fitness I decided to build up the courage and make the call to discuss having training sessions. From the moment I met Jamie Lea he made me feel completely at ease.. going through all elements of fitness, not just exercise (I thought this guy clearly knows what he's talking about). I immediately signed up for ten sessions, that was 3 years ago, and have been having personal training sessions ever since. I found gyms quite daunting, but West London Fitness is friendly, non judgemental, encouraging, safe, clean and the banter is brilliant... Really gets you through. Since covid Jamie has been training me remotely, which is fantastic, the time flies by and I always feel so motivated and encouraged by him. I've seen fantastic results through my training with Jamie and dietary advise he has given me. Who would've ever thought I would be excited to work out, but I really am and it's all down to West London Fitness and Jamie Lea's personal training. Fantastic experience: West London Fitness is the place to train. Georgia W has had nothing but a positive impact on my life since I started training with her some months ago now. As a new Mum, I found it hard to carve out space for myself and to do something positive for both my physical and mental health. Fantastic experience: I’ve been training with Georgia W. since seven months now and since we’ve started I feel a lot fitter, stronger and as a bonus lost quite some weight. Not only has Georgia W. given me some dietary guidance but also adapts the training according to my needs. When we started I had a lot of problems with my knees however this has become much better now. Georgia W. is such a positive, funny, friendly and motivating person (don’t even try to argue with her though ). I can’t recommend her enough.

Fantastic experience: Georgia W is the best trainer I've had in my life, no doubt. Aside from being a funny, friendly, fabulous person, she pays very strong and careful attention to me and the workouts I go through with her. She observes me performing different routines and is able to help me do them better for my body. She noticed that I have hypermobility straight away (other trainers haven't) and my nine months with her so far have made me a lot fitter and stronger than since my uni days. We have also talked though things like my diet, minor strains I've done to my legs away from her, and her knowledge is breathtaking. I cannot recommend Georgia W enough and guarantee she is worth everything.

Fantastic experience: West London Fitness makes you feel at ease when personal training at their gym, the team are friendly, supportive and motivate you to achieve your full potential. The atmosphere is positive and their is a great balance of work hard, play hard and have a good laugh! Fantastic experience: I have been going to West London Fitness in Ealing for just over two years. This small but very well equipped bespoke gym in Ealing offers everything you need. I train with Karl Gibson who works me hard but always in a friendly, encouraging and professional way. Every session is varied and tailored to my goals. I can honestly say I have never been fitter or stronger! I really look forward to my sessions, all the trainers are welcoming and friendly and I've met some really good people through the gym. Fantastic experience: This is a small studio gym run by the personal trainers. I have been working with Karl for two years now and have been very pleased with the way I have improved my fitness over time. Karl has the knack of pushing you further than you want to go in the nicest possible way but makes sure you don’t overstep the mark. Despite the hard work we spend a fair part of the time laughing albeit as I puff away at a fiendish exercise. He is also great at sports specific training, particularly rugby. If you are looking for a personal trainer in Ealing I would recommend trying this gym.

Fantastic experience: If your looking for a personal trainer I can highly recommend Jamie Lea. He takes time to understand what it is you are trying to achieve and makes every effort to keep you motivated enough to reach your goals. Sessions are hard work, but never dull, as his great sense of humour keeps you going. As for training in Ealing the gym location is great, easy to reach and plenty of free parking.

Fantastic experience: I've been going to the gym at West London Fitness in Ealing for about the last 3 years, where I have been working with a Personal trainer called Jamie Lea. I have really enjoyed working with Jamie. He understands my goals and our sessions are tailored with those goals in mind. They are always demanding and hard work but never too much so. In the last 3 years I have gone from someone who could barely run a bath to running 10k's in reasonable times. As well as improving my fitness Jamie advises on diet and nutrition and this year I lost around 11kg. Most importantly my fitness sessions are always fun and enjoyable. Other members of the family go to West London and use other trainers there and are equally impressed. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to improve aspects of their fitness and well being.

Fantastic experience: When I walked into West London Fitness in Ealing to meet with personal trainerJamie Lea I felt unfit, overweight and slightly anxious. Jamie took the time to talk to me about personal training sessions and spoke to me about my goals and what I would like to achieve. We talked about my desire to increase my fitness, lose weight and generally improve my wellbeing. Jamie listened and made me feel at ease. I decided to book a taster session. This turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made! Almost a year and a half later I am still attending West London Fitness for personal training sessions with Jamie Lea. Jamie is a true professional. He is motivating, knowledgable, kind and has a wicked sense of humour. I absolutely know what I have achieved would not have been possible without Jamie. Sessions with Jamie are tough but always fun. I enjoy every minute (well mostly!) and my feeling of self achievement is off the scale. I always thought exercise was what ‘other people’ did, not me! I look forward to my sessions with Jamie Lea and never dread going to the gym. The hour flies by very quickly and Jamie is able to make the sessions very interesting using a variety of training methods. He is always introducing something new and each session feels different from the last. I train once or twice a week at West London Fitness but what Jamie teaches me lasts way beyond those sessions. Jamie also advises on diet and is interested in me as a person. He has inspired me to want to stay fit. I can go hill walking with friends and I’m no longer the last person in the group. I can run for a bus without being breathless. My lower back pain has almost disappeared and I feel physically and mentally stronger than ever before. Attending the well-equipped and ultra friendly West London Fitness gym is one of the highlights of my week. If you’re thinking about a personal trainer in Ealing you will not regret meeting with Jamie Lea at West London Fitness.

Fantastic experience: I wasn’t looking for a personal trainer but two years ago I was feeling unfit, had some niggling back problems and over the previous decade I had been steadily gaining a pound or two each year. I kept saying I was going to lose weight and get fit but it wasn’t as easy as in my younger days. I noticed a friend of mine who I knew was training at West London Fitness, Ealing, was starting to transform and was signing up to do amazing things. I had never stepped foot inside a gym before and so it took me another 6 months to pluck up the courage to go and see Karl Gibson. I initially felt very self conscious but straightaway Karl put me at my ease. Karl and Jamie have made a very special environment. We are always introduced to whoever else is training and the atmosphere is very warm and friendly. It feels very healing Karl has had his work cut out as I can be a very reluctant trainee but he has managed to push me to do things I never would have imagined and is always there to motivate me and drive me on when I’m about to tap out. The sessions are always varied and there are always new pieces of equipment to keep things interesting. Every session feels like hard work but Karl is very intuitive and gets to know his clients well – he knows when to work you hard and when to turn it up a notch into a really hard session. When I broke my wrist playing tennis Karl helped me get my strength and movement back and helped me regain my confidence whenever I was nervous of doing something. I quite quickly lost the weight I wanted to lose but more importantly I have greatly improved my fitness, strength and muscle tone. This has improved my tennis; I can now get to the ball quicker and enjoy playing for longer. I try to run regularly, which is due to Karl motivating me. I have more energy and stamina and fewer strains on my body with the increased strength and reduced weight. I have also learned a few things about myself and how I am capable of much more than I think, I just need to believe it! I achieved my initial goals long ago and never imagined I would still be training now but I can’t stop now - I still want to improve and the sessions are not just exercise but therapy too and a lot of laughs.

Fantastic experience: I have trained with West London Fitness for over two years. When I started, I had not exercised properly or regularly for years - Jamie has provided the expertise and encouragement to help me get back my fitness and strength. Without Jamie, I would be waking every day thinking "I must start exercising today" and I'd be going to bed at night thinking, "OK, maybe I'll start tomorrow". My programme changes every week so it never gets boring - and it targets the areas where I need most work. In short, I am fitter and stronger, I feel far better, and look forward to my sessions (even though it might not look like it at the time!).

Fantastic experience: I started personal training with Georgia from West London Fitness in Ealing at the beginning of this year as am approaching a big birthday. Having a PT means my workouts are more focused. Fantastic experience: Signing up to train with Ken at WLF was definitely one of my better ideas. At fifty+ it is daunting to assess your many weaknesses and then try to work on them but with the positive encouragement of Ken and everyone else at WLF the task seems a lot more achievable. I think I'm fitter and a bit stronger than I was when I started and I've been helped enormously with my flexibility and therefore suffer a lot less from lower back issues. I have a long way to go but working alongside the supportive Ken and with the rest of the WLF team in background providing encouragement and humour I now believe I can get to where I need to be.

Fantastic experience: I started training with Jaime 3 years ago. At this time I had just finished physio after a knee operation because I was no longer in pain, however personally felt my body wasn't quite 100%. Immediately Jaime identified one side of my body was stronger than the other and helped me work to align them. He taught me how to do each exercise properly and constantly monitored how I was coping. This approach, plus is knowledge and experience gave me a lot of confidence in him after having previously had personal trainers who had caused injury by sticking to a set plan instead of creating an individual one. Jaime helped me get into the fittest shape of my life and cycling 500 miles in 5 days, and he did it in a fun way. I have recommended him to a lot of my friends and family. Fantastic experience: I'd just turned 50 and without really realising it I'd put on weight ... and a lot of it. I'm guessing, like most people in the same situation it's something that just creeps up on you ... well it certainly did to me, so being 5'6 and finding myself at 14 stone I decided I should do something about it. The thought of joining a gym filled me with dread and huffing and puffing around all those fit people was demotivating not to mention a bit scary - which is where West London Fitness came in. It's a intimate little gym in Ealing with no egos and with personal trainers who genuinely care. Jamie Lea had the dubious pleasure of being mine. In 6 months he's opened my eyes to healthy behaviours and a work-life balance which has had the amazing 'side-effect' of weight loss and a renewed zest for life. It's never been about starvation and fad dieting but more about a change of lifestyle. The training sessions are a lot of fun, always varied and not unsurprisingly thoroughly challenging. I've now lost just shy of 4 stone and can safely say I feel healthier and fitter than I've ever felt before. Fantastic experience: After feeling lost in a larger gym environment and unmotivated to work out alone, I approached West London Fitness in the hope of encouragement, enlightenment and a boost in confidence. Georgia Mahoney replied and over 10 weeks spent with her, she taught me the benefits of nutrition, a good recovery and a variation within exercise. Georgia allowed me to embrace a whole spectrum of gym equipment, and tailored sessions to my personality and with consideration of injuries. Without Georgia, I would have been bored of the same routines, more likely to stop exercising whilst injured rather than adapting workouts, less motivated and less confident. From the outset, training sessions with Georgia improved my fitness which I could most feel the benefits of during football matches. Further, morning training sessions gave me a boost for the day ahead whilst evening training de-stressed me from the day gone by, meaning Georgia's training impacted my all round health and personal wellbeing as well as my fitness. Georgia is an attentive, approachable and considerate trainer who provides interactive and challenging sessions, and further everyone at West London Fitness is welcoming and encouraging, creating an incredibly positive environment to be a part of.

Fantastic experience: Fitness training with Georgia Mahony at West London fitness has been a game changer for me and it’s my pleasure to recommend them. I looked into personal training after the past years of the daily grind started taking a toll on my health. Gaining weight had made me lose confidence and each time I failed on my own the more I struggled with it. I also trained heavily for Thai Boxing when I was younger and I really wanted to get back into it. When training on my own I had to spend the very little time I had planning workouts and worrying about how to get the most out of them and that usually left me with little motivation to actually workout. I found personal training really helps with this, all I’m left to do is schedule in my sessions and turn up. Georgia has a wealth of knowledge to tailor a workout that is specific to my needs and I have felt that I have moved forward with each session. I also like that Georgia makes sure each session has a variety of different exercises for me to work on as it keeps me getting bored with the training. Georgia is particularly good at judging the right level that I need to be working at in each session. She is very good at helping me progress during each session in a calm and supportive environment. She takes a genuine interest in my well-being outside of the gym and encourages good behaviors in terms of diet, sleep and generally how well I treat myself. I found that having someone else who also wants you to succeed really helps with making sure you keep the right attitude and increases your chances. I’ve now lost weight, I’m much more toned and I can see huge increase in my cardio levels. I’ve also asked Georgia to help me with my mobility, amongst other things I used to struggle with whilst I was boxing and Georgia has really helped with these. Getting back to the boxing club is my next goal but this time I’ll also have Georgia and West London Fitness in my corner too.

Fantastic experience: I've run on and off for many years and have always planned to incorporate strength and core training - but never really managed it. I went to Georgia at West London Fitness on the recommendation of a friend and have now been training for 1-2 sessions per week over the past six months. Honestly, I feel fitter, more toned and stronger than ever - I'm 42. Without exception, I feel fantastic after each session - those early morning slots may be hard going but they are invigorating and set you up brilliantly for the day. Georgia always works you more or less to your limit - no such thing as an easy session - but there is lots of variety and a very definite focus on technique and form. Georgia has a holistic approach and it's really helpful and motivating to have her (realistic) advice on nutrition and lifestyle. She's also a lovely person! If you're looking for a personal trainer, I'd recommend Georgia without hesitation.

Fantastic experience: In December 2014, I decided to get a head start on my new year resolution and search for a Personal Trainer in Ealing, where I live. I previously joined various gym clubs, attending impersonal workout sessions irregularly, never reaching my goals and lacking motivation. My first session with Jamie from West London Fitness left me with a very positive feeling about the programme we’ve agreed and our future work as a team. Jamie is not only an excellent Personal Trainer, but a great active listener; every week he picks up my mood and adjusts my fitness training to reflect my energy level. It makes every session enjoyable. Being very impatient by nature, I was hoping to get in perfect shape in 3 months. It took Jamie many sessions to get me to understand that what I was really after was a change of lifestyle, and not a bikini-body ready for the summer. Today I am fully in peace with myself, with a increased self esteem, feeling tonic in my enhanced muscle body, enjoying doing workout at home as well and always looking forward to my weekly training session. I have achieved to get the right balance of a healthy mind in a healthy body and life changing habits which is well above and beyond what I was expecting.

Fantastic experience: I always found it difficult to push myself, and to really understand my capabilities. I approached Jamie to help me attain this understanding and to give me a push when required. Over 20 weeks we achieved more than I could have hoped for. Jamie has a collaborative no nonsense approach to training. The PT sessions are interactive, fun and most importantly challenging. My stats, my overall fitness and my physique were much improved when the program was finished.

Fantastic experience: I completed 20 sessions with my personal trainer Georgia Mahony at West London Fitness and loved each session. I really felt I made a lot of progress and would never have achieved the level of fitness I wanted if not for the personal attention and effort given by my PT. When training you have good and bad days, I can tend to get frustrated if I do not feel I'm doing my best, it was really important for my PT to be able to tune into my mood and adapt each session accordingly. I felt Georgia was very good at doing this and provided the right encouragement when I needed it most. Each session would be slightly different, with a new exercise or piece of equipment, adding a little challenge which I found very motivating. There was always a very warm, welcoming and fun vibe in the gym. It is a small set up but I much preferred that to the bigger more mainstream gyms which I find can be overwhelming. After my 20 sessions I felt much stronger, had more energy and improved my knowledge on a range of exercises so I felt confident to continue on my own. If you have any interest in improving your fitness for whatever reason a personal trainer is exactly what you need to get started.

Fantastic experience: I train with Georgia Mahoney every week and I am very motivated, fitter and more energy for that. She is very precise and ensures I get the most out of the varied exercises - different every week which is great for not getting bored. Would recommend West London Fitness.

Fantastic experience: Throughout my adult life, I have always been of larger build, however as I was close to entering my thirties, I had a 36” waist and weighed a hefty 98.5Kg (15.5 Stones). i decided it was time to get into shape. Previously attempts of trying to get into shape had always followed the same story, I joined a gym, went for a week or two, injured myself or lost interest and stopped, but this time, things would be different. I knew I lacked the resolve and knowledge to train safely solo, so I knew I needed a personal trainer, this is where the talented Georgia Mahony from West London Fitness came to the rescue. Starting from time of initial consultation, I found her highly attentive to my needs and goals and from the onset offered the advice and guidance, I much needed. I also found that she was highly flexibly with her availability which was ideal to match my hectic life. The fitness program that Georgia derived focused on building my core strength whiles reducing the body fat, and she used a large range of methods to achieve, meaning no two sessions where the same, which is ideal for those like myself, whom find exercise monotonous. Through my time training, I found Georgia highly motivational and she was able to extract the last few reps or the last few seconds of exercise, out of me. I have now reduced to a 32” waist and have lose nearly 20Kg (3 Stone). I also have a noticeable change in muscle density. I can highly recommend Georgia and Team at West London Fitness to anyone who is serious about, loosing weight and getting into shape.

Fantastic experience: I initially contacted West London Fitness in West Ealing during the summer of 2015. At this time I had really let myself go. I had lost my motivation, got sluggish and put on weight. I really needed to do something about it. I had always been reluctant to getting a personal trainer however the thought was at the back of my mind so I contacted West London Fitness. I have now been training with Georgia Mahony for 4 months. Within this time I have definitely noticed big improvements. Georgia gives me that extra push I have needed to reach my fitness goals and bring me closer to achieving my ‘Dream Body’. Every session that I have with Georgia is different. There is always something new to try and the intensity is always adjusted so that your body is constantly being challenged improving your fitness levels. For the past few years, prior to training with Georgia, I had been in and out of the gym. I went through phases but was never consistent. Somehow I always managed to drop off and slowly all the hard work I had put in came to a stop as I didn’t make time or put in the effort to keep fit and healthy. However I can now honestly say, that since training with Georgia, I feel like this is something that will stick. Training with Georgia has taught me many things about nutrition, exercise and workouts that target specific areas. I have regained my motivation and I have also become a lot more confident. I think that the biggest plus point here is that in just 3 months from my time with Georgia I have lost body fat whilst retaining and building my muscle strength and definition.

Fantastic experience: Fifty years of age and approaching 16 stone was a call to action. Toiling in the heat on the long climbs on my annual cycling trip in Andalucia with my pals off in the distance in 2013 is not my idea of fun. A DIY training programme with a ridiculously under utilised membership at an Ealing Leisure Centre was not cutting it. Cue West London Fitness and professional sportsman and personal trainer Karl Gibson. I met with Karl in January 2014. I told him what I wanted. More leg power and endurance, a stronger core and, of course, less weight. I was heading for the Alps in June and I wanted to do be able to enjoy the trip and get over those big Tour de France Cols. I wanted to enjoy not endure. Karl is not a cyclist but he is certainly expert in training techniques and how to motivate and challenge you to get results. Starting with two sessions a week, Karl worked on the basics, using different pieces of equipment in combination to challenge me physically and to stretch my training comfort zones. I was introduced to my new “friends” the Kettle bell, the Bulgarian bag and the Battle rope to name just a few. Karl tuned into my competitive nature and sense of humor which made training enjoyable. There have been some tough sessions along the way however, it has been worth it as results came more quickly than I had expected and improvement continues today. The small and well equipped gym located at Ealing Rugby club is a friendly and fun place to train. Karl and fellow Personal Trainer Jamie Lea work hard to make sure it is for every client. So, as I approach my 100th personal training session, I realise just how much I have achieved. Personal training is part of my weekly schedule and apart from improving my cycling; I can ride up those big mountain cols, I have also reaped the benefits of regular, purposeful exercise in managing the stresses of a busy life at work and at home. My teenage children think dad is in good shape too. Is Personal Training at West London Fitness worth the money? Would I recommend them? You bet!

Fantastic experience: Since I started to work with Georgia Mahony from West London fitness, I have noticed some remarkable changes in my motivation, muscle tone and overall fitness. Finding myself fifty and already having had one hip replacement, I realised I needed to do something about my fitness and wellbeing pretty quickly. West London Fitness appealed to me because the gym location is convenient and there are good parking and changing facilities (all very important for dealing with my mental barriers to training ). After my induction with Jamie, I paired up with Georgia as my personal trainer, explained my goals and we started to work on achieving them. My first target was to run 5k outside – which I did within a few weeks – we are now working on 10k. Georgia’s approach to my programme is collaborative and encouraging – but she can also be tough and challenging. I really enjoy the variety of exercises she builds into the routines and have noticed my ability to train improve substantially week to week. I look forward to each session and try to do them twice weekly when possible. People have noticed the change in my body shape and I feel great in myself and find it much easier to concentrate at work. All told I am delighted I made the decision to sign up for fitness training with West London Fitness – the whole team are fun and the gym experience very easy to handle.

Fantastic experience: I work out with Karl Gibson, Professional sportsman and Personal Trainer extraordinaire! I started working out at west london fitness about 4 months ago, after about a 2 years break from exercise due to illness. As you can imagine after that length of time I was very nervous of working out and had lost confidence in my body, and having gained a considerable amount of weight I was also unconfident in general. I started working with Karl Gibson one of the three personal trainers at the club. Karl talked through everything with me, how to start getting more active again and he worked with me to develop a bespoke Health, Food and Fitness programme, taking in to consideration my needs. Having worked out at a different studio with another personal trainer previously I had very high expectations of what I wanted from the sessions, whilst also feeling pretty anxious about how my body would react to physical exercise. Karl put me at ease straight away and the club has a really friendly feel in general, within a few weeks I had been introduced to anyone else who was working out and really started to feel part of the west london fitness community. After training for about 2 months I decided that I wanted to run the Ealing Half Marathon, I had wanted to do it for a few years, but owing to circumstances wasn't able to. I definitely wasn't running fit, in fact I had only just gotten back in to the rhythm of fitness, but without question Karl and the entire team at West london fitness were full of encouragement, support and advice and with their support I managed to reach my goal… It took a while but I started and I finished! and that felt amazing. Since starting at the studio, I have seen my body shape change, my confidence come flowing back and I feel more like me than I have done for a long time. I put in the effort and decided to make a change, but Karl and the team at West London Fitness have supported encouraged and been there every step of the way. Choosing West London Fitness was easy, because being situated at Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club it was close to home, but having worked out there for a while now, I Know I would travel a distance to continue working out at a club where your not just a client your part of the community.
