Fantastic experience: Best value gym I've ever been to - all the machines and weights you could want and private shower/changing facilities too

Fantastic experience: One of the best gym in the UK I've been to. Good equipment downstairs well designed. Much better machines or hammer machines that the gym or puregym don't have. Not much room downstairs but you'll feel this 90's oldschool gym. Modern upstairs with machines and tredmills. If you need a proper gym to train choose anytime fitness . If you like to show off more than training go to pure.

Fantastic experience: Love this gym. I’m a boater, so travel the canal system, so I see a fair few Anytime Fitness gyms and this one is Newbury is by far the best I’ve visited so far. Nice new building, air conditioning that works well, good modern equipment, clean changing rooms/showers. And I love the water massager machines. I’ve been a few times and it’s never been that busy. Welcoming staff and 2 hours free parking in the car park below. Excellent. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Great gym, clean, friendly staff

Positive experience: Not my home gym, but visited when in Newbury for work. A fantastic gym which is really well equipped and makes full use of the space. The only reason my rating isn't higher is because on both visits there was a guy working out topless and posing in just his pants. Not sure if he's the owner as I saw him in the office later, but this is just weird.

Fantastic experience: Fantastic medium sized gym. Though compact, it does have 3 floors for varying different activities. I go there 3 times a week. Staff are very nice and encouraging. Very welcoming atmosphere.

Positive experience: New member but I've been to a lot of gyms and the kit here is really nice and currently nicely spaced out whether it's normally closer together I don't know. Staff seem really friendly. Members are polite

Fantastic experience: Thorough and professional sign up/ intro. The booking system is a piece of cake and gym is always clean and tidy. For the fact you can use it whenever I think its very good value for money.

Fantastic experience: Very well equipped gym. Staff and PTs are 5* very friendly and helpful. I was pleased to find they have special rates for over 60’s - the staff are very supportive…..I was very nervous at first. Update since Covid: Went to the Newbury gym today and I must say the staff have everything completely under control. Social distancing and cleaning adhered to closely. It felt very safe. Highly recommended as before (even more so now). Well done staff and members too!

Fantastic experience: Great gym if you just wanna get your head down and work out. Glad it’s not full of people taking selfies like you see at places like David Lloyd. Personal trainers are always helpful
