Furzefield Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: Great gym, great value. It’s recently been refurbished and has all new equipment and staff friendly too. Membership includes all the classes, sauna, steam room, spa pool and swimming plus added bonus of unlimited free parking which is rare these days. Adjacent to a big park where I can take my dog for a workout afterwards too!

Fantastic experience: Great softplay and climbing wall for kids, just a shame the cafe is not open on softplay but does mean you can bring your own food I suppose.

Fantastic experience: The only thing I would have to say is that they should allocate more time for soft play. One hour is definitely not worth £7! But all in all, very nice and clean too!

Fantastic experience: Handy for hiring the Astro pitches but quite pricey at £33 an hour. Nice leisure centre though.

Positive experience: Booked for my daughters birthday party. The climbing wall is great (a nailed on 5 stars). The instructors and host were also very good. The party room was very good. The reason it dropped a star was because trying to contact them either before booking or after booking is extremely difficult and frustrating. That aside is great. All the children had a great time and dragging them away was not easy. There are many other activities that can be done here but this review and rating is purely for the party climbing wall and party room. Would recommend for that.

Fantastic experience: Great swimming facilities for babies/families. Loads of cubicles with baby change. Family swimming available in the main (Boom) pool which is sectioned off from the rest of the pool and shallower (29c), and baby pool (31c) which is totally separate from the main pool.

Fantastic experience: Bounce blast (bounce) is amazing. The instructor is lovely, very friendly and caring. Definitely recommend this class. You have to type in bounce blast furzefield to get the times and days though not bounce. Happy bouncing

Fantastic experience: Staff at Reception are first class. I paused my gym membership for a few months for health reasons and was made to feel so welcome when I reactivated my membership. The gym staff are aware of my treatment and are supporting me 100% back to full fitness.

Fantastic experience: Great place for all the family. It literally has something for everyone. The new soft play is fantastic for kids of all ages. The pool is warm, and they have some fun activities at the weekend, such as an inflatable obstacle course. The cafe is also really nice, and nothing is obscenely over priced.

Fantastic experience: Significantly improved over the last couple of years, cleaner, more consistent and with a better cafe. It's a really nice place now and we often go there with the kids for fun swims.

Fantastic experience: Since joining a few months back.. ive had a good experience with the facilities and become good mates with a lot of the staff there...the upgrade to the weights area upstairs is wicked.. can't wait for it all to be finished.. staff are really friendly. Always whilling to help, push you to your max.. they know how to have a good laugh.. deffo recommend

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff, was given an in depth tour of the facilities, answered all questions I had and it took under 5 minutes for the paperwork to be done! And then the facilities that are there - anything you can think of and all brand new! Very excited to begin my journey with Furzefield Leisure Centre.

Fantastic experience: The whole family love it here. The pools are great for the little ones, they also have softplay they can use. The gym and classes are also great for adults. The staff are always friendly and helpful to give tips and advice in the gym too!

Fantastic experience: What a difference! I found all the staff helpful and friendly without being overbearing. They seem to really care, which is reflected in the cleanliness of the swimming facilities. Lane controlled swimming with 3 speeds. The water temperature was just right for my type of rehabilitation. I have not tried the cafe yet. There are other facilities such as a gym, spinning room, masssage, beauty etc.

Fantastic experience: A very reasonably local priced Gym with all the facilities you would expect a private branded gym. Joanne, Matt and Sarah in the management team do an amazing job. Swimming lessons are superb.
