Here at CFT we offer friendly, sociable and effective fitness for everyone in the Ashford and surrounding areas.We offer a perfect way to not only push yourself out of that comfort zone you can find yourself in within a gym environment, but be pushed constructively and safely by one of our friendly, professional trainers.

All of our instructors are trained to the highest standard and will support you throughout your fitness journey, while ensuring you have fun, enjoy every session and drive you forward towards your individual goals.

All of our sessions are delivered with that personal touch, you will be looked after and trained to a pace that suits you, all while building your confidence and moving forward towards your goals.

Even if you’re already fit and active, we can not only improve your fitness but build on it by setting challenging goals that push you to your limits. Our trainers have over 30 years of experience between them and will deliver a variety of sessions to ensure you are happy and have been delivered a suitable workout.

With flexible monthly payment plans that give you so much more than a normal gym membership, we don't just offer access to equipment we offer the highest quality of results based training, interactive sessions, nutritional advice, regular fitness assessments, weigh ins and support on hand when you need it.

Fantastic experience: I have been attending CFT boot camps for over 8 years now and I can honestly say this is the most dedicated I have been to any exercise programme. I have visibly seen a real change to my fitness levels and body shape over the years which continues to motivate me. No two sessions are ever the same, making each session a new challenge. My boot camp buddies are another reason I enjoy the sessions each week, there are a real mix of age, fitness levels and personalities and we have a lot of fun. I can highly recommend coming along you will not regret it.

Fantastic experience: Not wishing to be overly dramatic but CFT and Greg have changed my life. I’m almost 3 stone lighter, fitter, stronger and feel that I have recalibrated my lifestyle with a much better approach healthy living. The personal 1:1 training did it for me. Should have done it years ago

Fantastic experience: Can highly recommend the trainers at CFT for all of your weight loss and fitness goals. Been attending for 6 months and have really started to notice the difference. However, be warned, once you start you won’t be able to stop!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Critical Fitness Training since July 18 and have to say Greg is brilliant. Been trying and failing to shift some weight on and off for about 5 years, come to greg and I am a stone and half down in less than 10 months. His workout classes are second to none, every session is different so keeps it interesting and fun. Greg's PT sessions are brutal whilst being fun and functional. Haven't got a bad word to say about Greg, until the burpee challenge comes out to play!!! Cheers mate, can't wait for the next stone and a half!!

Fantastic experience: With a reasonable level of cardio fitness. Approaching 50 and getting accepted into the London Marathon, April 2018. I felt the need to work towards giving myself the best chance of making it through 26.2 miles and in the process become a fitter stronger version of myself #FitAt50. I wanted to find someone and somewhere that I could train with that would listen to the story of my body and assess my fitness and ability to train. I presented myself to Greg, back in October 2017, with years old tales of surgeries and injuries that still affected me. He came up with a plan specific to me that built upon my strengths as well as rehabilitating a 30+ year old shoulder weakness. Observing and listening to what was going on for me each session. He brings the right amount of encouragement and push. Ensuring that ‘beast’ mode is engaged as often as possible. His no nonsense approach to de-bugging my limiting thinking about what is possible and going to the edges of my comfort zone and beyond shows an understanding of the battle many of us have with our ’head-monkeys’ when it comes to exercise or self belief. Progress is being made, the numbers are going in all the right directions and the early morning one to one sessions are ideal for me. The gym is perfectly situated near the village of Wye and is well equipped. The sessions are dynamic, challenging and what makes the difference to me is the FUN! I keep coming back… I am very grateful for Greg’s hard work and commitment to supporting me and my fitness goals. It most definitely will continue after the marathon and I would strongly recommend Greg at Critical Fitness Training if you are looking for a bespoke Personal Trainer.

Fantastic experience: I have been going to CFT for about 2 years. I started with one session a week but enjoyed it so much have increased to 3 a week and have seen noticeable difference in fitness, energy levels and weight. Classes are always fun and Greg is careful ensure everyone works to their own fitness levels but pushes you that little bit more than your mind thinks possible. The 545 am class is a challenge to get up for but well worth it as sets you up for the day ahead. Great bunch of people and would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic experience: Since starting with CFT back in November 2014 I’ve lost significant weight and massively improved my overall fitness, amazing coming into my 40’s! But more important, more recently it has been the continued support, motivation and commitment of Greg to keep me focused on staying fit and tailoring my exercises to accommodate my deteriorating hip problem. The Boot Camps and Military Fitness sessions offer something different each session, allowing for age, fitness ability, medical condition and any other excuse...!! But each time they are guaranteed to suit everyone and still with a good degree of fun and laughter. As I said before I am really thankful for the ongoing help and support given by Critical Fitness Training. It keeps me motivated day to day to maintain a healthier lifestyle!

Fantastic experience: I have been with the CFT Family since 2013 which as part of running training it has given my fitness a huge boost with enabling me to achieve PBs at 5km & 10km distance, while also completing a couple of Marathons. The sessions are different each week which Greg ensures all levels of fitness are pushed, while also maintaining a fun environment which makes you want to come back for more

Fantastic experience: CFT is a fantastic! Greg and his team always deliver a great training session. The session are varied and utilise both indoor and outdoor spaces. I’ve been training there for a number of years and I’ve not repeated the same session. The team provide a great motivational environment to train in and just when you’re about to give up they lift your spirits and encourage you to push yourself further. Keep up the good work guys!

Fantastic experience: I initially started with a 6 week boot camp course to loose weight before my holiday last June. The 6 weeks was successful and Greg is an excellent instructor with a wealth of knowledge, whom makes the sessions enjoyable and fun. Prior to joining CFT I was an avid gym goer but struggled with cardio, however attending CFT has improved my fitness, body composition and also my confidence. Greg has a variety of different classes that you can choose from and attend, so he caters for all your fitness goals. Some people tend it find it hard to joining a gym as it’s quiet a daunting experience, however Greg will make you feel very welcome and he has grown a good fitness family whom will also make you feel welcome. So come along and join, your first sessions FREE!! You won’t regret it.

Fantastic experience: CFT is a great place to work out. Greg and his team provide a variety of classes to suit everyone and no two sessions are the same. I have been going for several years and can honestly say I am glad I discovered these classes. Everyone is friendly, inclusive and supportive. I go to the 9am sessions and we do laugh whilst seriously getting the job done! I've made some new friends which is a bonus.

Fantastic experience: I’ve been going to Greg for over a year now with the goals of getting fitter and losing weight - both of which I’ve achieved. You still have to put the hard work in - there’s no slacking off - but Greg somehow gets you to do 10x more than you thought you could do (or would do on your own) so you finish with a great sense of achievement. The variety of the sessions is key to not getting bored. Highly recommended!

Fantastic experience: I have been going to Critical Fitness Training for over two years. It is EXCELLENT and I thoroughly recommend it to all. Greg is always enthusiastic, very motivating, even early in the morning. Every single time I go we have had a different mix of exercises to do in the gym or outside. That makes it interesting. But most importantly is that although it is demanding, Greg is great at welcoming people with all levels of fitness and goals in mind. Nobody judges, there are no gym-bores, you push yourself and with his encouragement go at your own pace. Nobody gets left out. Also with top banter, he makes you laugh and smile while pushing yourself hard. My fitness levels have improved dramatically and at the end of every session you feel great with a real sense of achievement. So all in all, it is a big thumbs up from me. Keep it up Greg!

Fantastic experience: I have been attending Critical Fitness Training since March and this has changed my entire life! I am now 3 stone lighter and the fittest I have ever been. I have achieved milestones I never believed, such as running a 15 mile race last month, whereas before attending I could barely run 3! If you are looking to change your life Critical Fitness Training is the place for you. There is a very friendly environment with everyone being supportive and no two classes being the same, so it never gets boring. I cannot recommend CFT enough.

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere and amazing trainers. Clean and friendly fitness studio located within stunning views of Wye downs. Greg offers a variety of classes and never ceases to ensure everyone has fun whilst getting a suitable workout. I highly recommend CFTRAINING.
