Fantastic experience: My lad has been going to Academy Martial Arts for about five years now. He started in the Ninjas Class (for 5-7 year olds and a fantastic class, possibly the best in the school!) and then moved into the the Kids Elite where he is currently preparing for his second Dan Black belt next year. Martial arts has been so beneficial for him. As its says on the wall as you go in: its easier to build girls and boys than to fix broken adults. How true, he's fitter (incredibly fit in fact), he's happy, more confident, more coordinated and more respectful and AMA have definitely helped . We were so impressed, and so nicely welcomed by the the staff, that three years ago my wife and I started in the Adult Beginners Class and now we are in the final preparations for our first Degree Black belts. The martial arts has had the obvious benefits for us, as well as being great fun and a great crowd of people who are now friends; we're fitter and healthier with must better cardio function and strength (and believe me I had to start at the bottom and work up, I'm no spring chicken and perhaps carried a pound or two excess when I started - not helped by 20 years behind a desk). But there are other less obvious benefits: when I started my back was weak and prone to problems. The emphasis on core strength and well supervised exercise has help so so much and now I feel I have a new back. But as a stress buster there is not better substitute - after a hard day at the office an hour of exercise and smashing the pads cannot be beaten (plus the quality of sleep after a hard session isn't to be sniffed at either). However, the biggest thing about Kick Boxing at Academy is that its never boring just a challenging hour of fun. No two nights are the same, there's a fantastic camaraderie as every helps and supports everyone else through the class. Come down, take the free intro lesson - you'll be hooked; we were.

Fantastic experience: Great staff. Clean and welcoming. Would definately recommend MACE for all ages. My son joined and later on so did I. We're always learning something new and keeping fit is fab. Excellent team.

Fantastic experience: Joined with my Daughter to do the kick4fit classes absolutely fantastic club with an amazing team of instructors, extremely well run and brilliant with children of all ages and with adults of all ages! it takes alot to impress me these days, and these guys and how professional but caring this club and the team of people there are have definitely impressed me would highly recommend to anyone of any age or fitness level to come and see these guys.

Fantastic experience: Great place for all ages. My son has been doing kickboxing classes for almost 2 years and I did the Shed it and Shred it challenge in October and now come to Simply Fit classes! Great support from instructors and other class mates!!

Fantastic experience: We started almost seven years ago, our eldest was being bullied at school. Since then our eldest has changed into a confident black belt, our other two children have joined up too, we never realized how much of a positive effect it would and still does have on our family, I have also joined simply fit program that is run there too. An amazing place with fantastic people , best decision we ever made, can't recommended it highly enough, really appreciate everything they have done for us and do for us now!!!!!

Fantastic experience: This place has changed not only my daughters life, now mine too. She joined 6 years ago and is now a black belt and such a confident young lady compared to before she joined, that's all thanks to AMA. I joined the fitness class Simply Fit and enjoyed it so much I then went on to start kickboxing classes too. I was nervous to start but now really enjoying learning to do something I never imagined I could do. The instructors are top class and it doesn't matter who you are, age, size, fitness level, you will succeed here because of the high quality tuition. It's like one big family and everybody there is so nice and has the same positive outlook. We love it!
