Hillingdon Sports & Leisure Complex

Fantastic experience: First time visiting here. I arrived at 11.10am and trying to get a parking space was a nightmare. However, once in I was very impressed. The indoor pool was a good temperature and although there were lots of people about it didn't feel crowded. I had a lovely swim and will definitely go back. It's very near to where I live but I never knew it was there. I've never seen it advertised. The outdoor pool was closed (quite right for the winter) but it looked stunning.

Fantastic experience: Amazing place, very pleasant and friendly staff members. Super clean every time I visit and overall I have an extremely enjoyable time there.

Fantastic experience: Great facility with indoor and outdoor pools. One large 50m pool inside that can be split into multiple pools with a smaller child friendly play pool alongside. The outdoor lido is a 1930s facility with outdoor showers and changing cubicles.

Fantastic experience: This is the first time I've been there. Just a 19 to 22 minute drive from my flat in Park Royal and the Lido is big and spacious. It has changing rooms, lockers and showers indoors and outdoors which is very convenient. You have to book sessions online for the swimming indoors and outdoors or you can book it when you arrive. It's best to come when the weather is warm, hot and sunny. Definitely recommended!

Fantastic experience: I like this pleasure center because I could have a variety of different activities there. From free swimming or swimming lessons, karate classes, badminton to gym training. Here have the swimming lessons for babies as well. How after the refurbishing was looking a little better but they refurbish only the reception area.

Fantastic experience: The outdoor lido is great. It's clean and well managed. Swim for all can be quite busy, but they will keep lanes dedicated for swimmers. They will also keep an hour free just for fitness swimming, which is a lot quieter.

Fantastic experience: Excellent outdoor pool. Lovely staff, very professional and pleasant to speak with. I will definitely be returning with my brother who has learning disabilities. He really did have an enjoy time. Thank you all.

Fantastic experience: 1st and foremost, we spoke to an amazing member of their staff, Jessie! Jessie made us feel at home, answered every question with patience and detail. And we had loads of questions. We toured the facilities without a single question remaining. This place is amazing. From the pool to the athletics, to the gym to the cricket fields nearby. Fantastic!!! Their Outdoor pool and the immensity of the their same size indoor pool is incredible. Perfect leisure centre. And I say this as a parent who's travelled everywhere with kids in swimming clubs, competitions and galas throughout Hertfordshire and Essex. This place is perfect! The staff are perfect!

Fantastic experience: One of the neatest BetterUK centers. This leisure center is very well managed and has good amount of facilities to use for all age groups. The club in itself is situated in the country side and boasts a great view and trail into the woods.

Fantastic experience: Superb place to learn & practice swimming. Staff is helpful. It has Lido swimming, so you can bring kids & have fun in summer time (Not free). Convenient Car parking (Not free). Discounted for Hilingdon card holders.

Fantastic experience: Well maintained 4G football pitches with a few mins. stroll from the extensive free car park. The complex is easy to reach by from M40 or by from Uxbridge.

Fantastic experience: Been here for the first time in a few years having been a regular at both the pool and the main gym and the facilities and the spaces has only improved. There is a large cafe area (which is currently being upgraded) with more than one gym area and a large main swimming pool as well as separate children’s pool area. There is also an outdoor pool which is great when it’s sunny and it’s warmed to 23 degrees all year round. Parking is really easy and reasonably priced and definitely will be visiting here on a more regular basis.

Fantastic experience: Wish we could have used the outdoor facility, A very nice pool for swimming but I was self conscious walking past rows of seats full of parents waiting for their child's swimming lesson to finish, you have to do this walk to get to the 1 quarter of pool used for adult free swim.

Fantastic experience: Excellent sports centre, well managed, spacious and organised. Good service. We had booked a Badminton court and it was setup on time and the lighting was brilliant. Definitely will rebook to play again. A big thanks to the fantastic team at Hillingdon Sports & Leisure centre.

Positive experience: Lovely facilities. We went in the swim for all and didn't know there was a class on as s well so we're restricted in the area we could use with my toddler but he enjoyed himself. Baby pool was a tad cold I thought but we had a lovely time and a hot shower when we got out!

Fantastic experience: Lovely gym, the changing room in the pool was smelly, but that's not the facilities fault, generally parents should not let their kids urinate outside of the toilets.

Fantastic experience: I had booked my 7 year old and 4 year old into a foundation swimming class, however my younger one seemed a bit wobbly once he got in the water. The teacher Vicky was very reassuring and kept a close eye on him, despite not being allowed in the pool with the kids due to Covid restrictions. The swimming lead Wendy was amazing and got him booked into another class which was more for his ability. She also arranged the time so that I could bring both kids at the same time. The staff were so professional and there were excellent social distancing measures in place.

Fantastic experience: My son swims for Hillingdon and it's a fantastic facility, with great staff, neat and clean premises, cafe on site and a lovely pool and gym facilities. The outdoor pool is heated but check online before heading to it. In spring,the cherry blossoms are amazing in the car park and walking and running circuits make it a perfect facility. Uxbridge chimes is walkable and so is Uxbridge Common and football playing fields. Absolutely recommend it!

Fantastic experience: I used the gym here for about a month. By far, the cleanest gym that I have ever used. I saw the cleaning staff everyday cleaning the gym and the equipment and they do such a great job. The equipment is also pretty new and there's a lot of space to ensure Covid regulations are maintained.

Fantastic experience: 5 stars to this amazing swim school! Wendy and her team deal with a water phobic little one and her easily distracted sister beautifully. The teachers are kind and change teaching methods regularly to keep the kids interested and learning!

Fantastic experience: So Happy to find this outdoor pool at the Lido to enjoy the last days of sunshine for the year.. and right there on my doorstep. I'll definitely be back to enjoy more outdoor swimming days in the UK!!

Fantastic experience: Great, spacious, clean facilities in an accessible part of London. Think huge Olympic size outdoor pool and another one indoor. Pricing differs for one or the other. The outdoor pool being twice as expensive although still affordable £4.50 for kids. Keep in mind that outdoor pool follows strict schedule and closes every 2 hours. Plan well. Come early to avoid disappointment as they will turn you down if pool is at capacity. Both pools tend to be packed on sunny, warm days on the summer. Nice staff for the most part.

Fantastic experience: I'm a member here and I think they're great. The reception desk are very helpful and friendly. I joined as a member a few months ago and the pool is very clean and I think great value for money. There are areas which could do with a tidy or upgrade, but it's a local leisure centre.

Fantastic experience: Great place for a family swim or gym session. It has a good sauna and steam room. Just one tip: call ahead if you are bringing little kids as they do have time limits and some Sunday hours are closed for kids as they have been booked up for birthday parties. Otherwise it's a great, clean centre.

Fantastic experience: Lido is awesome. Bit cold. But what do you expect. Refreshing and a big part of London history. Recommended
