Llantrisant Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: I've been to a few gyms and I really like this one. The machines are nicely spaced out, the space is light with lots of floor to ceiling windows at one side. Too many gyms feel like a basement! The machines are new and pretty clever too, I'm a regular these days :)

Fantastic experience: Well equiped leisure centre. Amazing pool sessions and squash training. Very supportive and friendly staff. Lockers and showers are of good standard. Lovely library with great kids section. Ample parking but spaces go quickly at peak hours/evenings.

Fantastic experience: Very clean and tidy. The reception staff were polite and friendly . There are lots of activities goi g on in the centre and posters advertising new programmes.

Fantastic experience: Staff always friendly and helpful. As I go with my disabled grandson they always ask if the equipment was OK and when my daughter said the brakes on the mobile changing bed wasn't working properly it was looked into and reported to the maintenance team straight away.

Fantastic experience: Very nice young man, who was the assistant manager, came to the help of my elderly parents by loaning my disabled dad a wheelchair and pushed him to have his booster. He stayed with my parents during their visit . Thank you very much

Fantastic experience: Great little set up. Gym is a little small but I like the different levels. Showers are good. Staff in the gym are friendly and help you use the weigh in Wednesday machine by the entrance. Try to go here 3 to 5 times a week to gain the most from my membership. Car park is pretty awful, the school buses park in the zones which say no parking and get away with it time after time. Peak times are awful to get a parking space. They need to make more parking spaces available. Small pool is great for younger children. The library is hit or miss with opening hours. Free covid tests at reception.

Fantastic experience: Fair play, the number of people that go through these doors at the moment is incredible, yet, it's well sign posted and so slick. I was in and out in 30 minutes, including my sit down. Bravo.

Fantastic experience: Bit dissatisfied that people were going there with partners to have the jab the same time even though their jab was not for a few days later this then was why there was long queues and waiting time. Cant fault the staff and medical staff they were brilliant welldone

They are doing the Covid injections here, which has a very structured and safe layout. It did feel very overwhelming to me but the staff was % fantastic with me. The nurse I spoke to was absolutely brilliant x Thank you NHS

Fantastic experience: Today was the first time I have been swimming since February. I took my 22 year old nephew who has autism. I cannot praise the staff enough. The young man in a purple polo shirt behind the reception desk was fantastic and really helpful when I rang the day before to enquire of the new process/procedures put in place due to Covid. The team are so professional and in addition to the guy in the purple polo shirt the blonde tall lifeguard was lovely too. Whenever my nephew looked as though he was going into the deeper water, his eyes were on him like a hawk. Really really appreciate today. A top class team.

Fantastic experience: I have used llantrisant gym for the past 4yrs on/off. " brilliant customer service, very friendly, warm and welcoming staff. I lived in Tonyrefail an their gym is too small, but they had the pro's of hot tub an sauna etc.. For me it's always about the gym - cardio an weights!! Llantrisant have a decent size gym and beneficial machines that help with your core strength, that will help you achieve goals. Because with out any goals.. There wouldn't be any achievement in terms your health an well being. You gotta keep ontop of your mental/Physical health when and how you can - Realeasing the endorphins."

Fantastic experience: Nice clean pool. The kids pool is really warm and ideal for my 2 year old to get used to being in the water. Best to get there early on a weekend though as it tends to get busy quickly.

Fantastic experience: The staff here are incredibly friendly and it has a fully functional swimming pool and gym. The gym is large, includes lockers and a water fountain, weights, a stretching area, bikes, stair walkers, a few treadmills, punching bags, a vibration plate, stair climbers, and many other things. The swimming pool is large, has lockers, showers and changing rooms. Would visit again, and would recommend.

Fantastic experience: Friendly staff and well equipped gym but dont like the new gym equiptment in the refurbishment. Nearly all the machines are designed for big people even on the smallest settings and the powerplates have been removed.

Fantastic experience: Excellent leisure centre. Caters for all needs especially disabled people. Free car parking and disabled bays. Very reasonable prices for a swim less than £5.00. Free if you are over 60 and concessions for disabled people.
