Allander Leisure Centre

Fantastic experience: The gym is fantastic, best equipment and lots of support from the gym team. The fitness class program is great, all the Les Mills classes that you would expect as well as the latest classes like Insanity and Metafit. Looking forward to my next visit

Fantastic experience: All ofthe staff invloved in the vaccinations, from the people showing you where to go and in my case showing me where the lift was, to the person giving you the vaccination were very helpful, cheerful and professional. Just an absolutely lovely buch of people.

Fantastic experience: Visited for two Covid jabs and returned today for my partners' second one. Centre staff were busy painting new 2m standing spots on the carpark to help ensure queueing public were safe. More staff members were stopping drivers on the approach road to let them know the car park was full and to turn around. A third staff member used a wheel chair to help a wee older lady across the car park and into the centre as she was suffering having to queue outside in the building heat. Leisure Centre Staff were keeping busy helping the public, so full marks.

Fantastic experience: Have only been here twice, for both my Covid jabs. So while I can't offer any insight into the leisure facilities, I'll forever associate the lovely indoor bowling arena with the sheer heroism of our NHS staff and, ye know, probably having my life saved.

Fantastic experience: I only go swimming. I book online, only so many people per session. When in the changing room you are given the number of the changing room and locker. Spotlessly clean, efficient and we'll organised.

Fantastic experience: This was my first visit to the Allander for a long time and I was part of the visiting squash team to play a West of Scotland league match. It has obviously been tarted up a bit and was pretty clean all over. Had no contact with any staff so can't comment on them. Squash courts could do with a bit of work as the floors are a bit uneven in parts and there is a big wet patch in the back corner of one of them. Overall not too bad!

Fantastic experience: Good pool (25 metre). Lanes available but check in advance. Gun sessions for kids very popular. Friendly staff. Poolside the lifeguards are on the qv.

Fantastic experience: Nice customer service. The pool is fine, clean water and changing rooms at all the time. Looks like being maintained up to a good standard. The only thing for a minus for the pool is that it could be a bit deeper.
